mythology anon here again! Totally sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep before you answered my other ask lol

as for Orpheus and Eurydice, there isn’t much about either of them that isn’t mainstream myth other than a few cool details that come from oral discrepancies

for one, it’s very well possible that Orpheus had been a completely mortal Thracian king who fell in love with a nymph and wooed her with his song, but he could’ve also been the son of Apollo and the muse, Calliope- which would’ve explained why Apollo gave him his golden lyre in the first place

Orpheus was also said to have brought the worship of various gods to different regions during his travels

Orpheus also operated as a part of the Argonauts to help them escape from the Sirens

In some variations of the myth, Eurydice was killed by a viper that had been sent by her jealous sisters, while in others she fell into a pit of them escaping an assaulting satyr

and in one or two variations, Orpheus actually didn’t look back because of pride or fear or hubris, he’d just made it out of the underworld and looked back before Eurydice could as well

(that last one might be false, I vaguely remember some book talking about it, but I’ve read a good bit on Greek mythology, and I’ve only seen is corroborated on a lone Reddit thread- from which I quickly got distracted by a story of a non-consensual Dionysus ritual/offering 😬 [he would not like that])

I had a weird experience as a child due to a combination of being intersex(unknown variation) and being profoundly disabled, in which I was assigned a gender at birth, and then completely unassigned a gender by everyone around me, including doctors and family after birth.

I always feel excluded from discussions of transness despite being a genderqueer transsexual because of this. They're so AGAB centric, and I have to deal with people not understanding the concept of "yes i have a letter on my birth certificate, no I wasn't even considered to be that letter I was just a problem child, a burden, and a freak."

Like, I was equally referred to as "he" and "she" and I was called "it" or "they" or "that" even more often than either of those. I even have a very vivid memory of a childhood pediatrician using shi/hir for me when talking to my mother because of quote "something I saw in hir file" (my files are now mostly "lost" or have been "corrected" to cover up past diagnoses and medical malpractice, including whatever that pediatrician supposedly saw)

I just wish trans spaces would drop AGAB language altogether, it doesn't do any good.

Doomfist, in my opinion, is almost strictly a top. But I'm putting a little emphasis on almost because I think he that might let you on top if you earn it from him. Show enough bravery to take him on in a sparring match and actually manage to pin his back to the mat? He's making sure that you feel how hard he is through the imprint of his trousers.

Don't let up once you're up there though, show any sign of exhaustion and he zeroes in like a wolf to a hare. His metaphorical jaws hovering around the delicate, timid and trembling flesh of your neck - finding that vulnerability and striking. Snapping his hips upwards to fuck into you with enough force that you collapse to his chest and leave an opening for him to get a good grip on you with the gauntlet.

Akande knows that he's bigger, stronger, meaner. Could probably use you like a fleshlight and it turns him on. A lot.

Moira - to me - is held in a similar fashion except there's usually no deviation from topping to begin with. She knows who's really in control here, but it's awfully fun to watch you try and fuck yourself back onto the strap in an act of bratty defiance.

Which is why on most occasions he's happy to let you have your fun, to let you seat yourself as comfortably as you like, whether it be his face or his fat cock. He's ever the chivalrous one, letting you ride him at your own pace and length until your legs ache, curling his meaty fingers into the sheets to stop himself from simply reaching out and grabbing you. You woke feeling awful. Had a pounding headache, runny nose, sore throat. Your whole body ached even just laying there. When John tried to get you out of bed, you nearly started crying, so tired and icky-feeling. He caught on immediately though and offered to bring you breakfast in bed. You agreed, but even when he brought you plate of eggs, you threw it up almost immediately. Managed to get it all on the floor at least! Much easier to clean than the bed sheets.

John immediately calls off work to take care of you. You’d fuss about him getting sick but - well, he’s probably the one that got you sick, considering he’s the one leaving the house and going to foreign countries.

Still, you can’t find it in yourself to tease him about it where he frets over you the way he does. He tries to be subtle, but you’re piled up with pillows, warm packs, water, tissues, a puke bucket, and a laptop by the time he finally comes back to bed. He spends the day watching whatever you want, giving you cold medicine and cough drops, rubbing your back when you throw up. He takes your temperature religiously, thumb stroking the back of your hand or neck.

He even reads to you at one point - which knocks you right out into a much-needed nap.
