walking into your home after running some errands softly calling out to abby, knowing she should be home by now. the house is quiet except for your sweet kitty who meets you at the door rubbing against your leg. you bend down scratching behind her ears, "where is your mama, hmm?"

your cat walks to your bedroom and you follow. you open the door seeing abby sleeping on her stomach. she looks so sweet and peaceful, you dont even wanna wake her up. you sit on the bed next to her kissing her face and softly stroking her hair. abby's eyes open slowly seeing you before closing again.

she grabs you by your waist pulling you to lay with her you giggle as she rubs her face against your chest getting comfortable again. "abby its time to wake up," you say softly patting her back, “i brought home dinner.” abby groans lifting herself up to hover over you. she opens she eyes again giving you a smile.

you smile back cupping her cheeks, "hey" you whisper. abby sits up pulling you up with her, wrapping her arms around your waist burying her face in your neck. "hey baby. i missed you." “i missed you too my love.”

you weren’t home the night before because of an overnight trip for work. so you brought home abby’s favorite food to make it up to her, especially since you notified her last minute.

abby loves you more than life itself. life felt so black and white before you. she felt like she was in a loop, doing the same things everyday, it was dull. that was until she met you and you introduced her life to so much color, life was so bright and vibrant with you. there was always something new going on now, you brought warmth to her cold world.

you treat her so gently, laugh at her dumb little jokes and shower her with more love than she thinks she deserves. she obviously reciprocates all this because you are so precious to her and she can’t think of life without you.

“let’s go eat,” you kiss her lips, standing and grabbing her hand then leading her the the kitchen.

How would yan husband react to a wife reader who likes a lot of plushies, and is more of that coquette aesthetic (pink, lace, bows, etc.) than the sophisticated, timeless classic look he’d prefer her to have?

I’m cracking up thinking about when they both were dating, with then girlfriend reader, leaving stuff behind at his brutalist home. Imagine some cute Hello Kitty plushies being the only pop of color in the room!

When the reader slept over at his place and forgot their plushie, he picked up the hello kitty, and held it an arms length away from him. He eyed it up and down suspiciously, just making sure that it actually wasn’t a living and breathing thing. He’s actually a very paranoid person, and he did believe in ghosts and spirits. He placed it in the corner of the room, and lit up some sage.

When you haven’t came by to pick up the (haunted) thing, he bought a glass case for it, and decided to lock the plushie away until you took it off his hands.

He’s a bit fascinated with the aesthetic, and you did look nice with the bows and laces. He didn’t complain when all of a sudden his expensive dishes were replaced with heart shaped plates, cups with a floral pattern on it, and even baby pink knives. He watched with discreet interest as he stared at you from the corner of his eye. You had his card in your hand, and your phone in the other. He just hoped that this aesthetic wouldn’t bankrupt him.

anytime jason has a day off and not have to go on patrol you guys spend all day in bed only getting up when you need to eat but something you particularly enjoy is when jason reads to you his soft calming voice his fingers running through your hair and he gently rubs your back as he’s reading jane austen words you lay your head on his bare muscular chest you get comfortable listening to his calming heartbeat as his soft gentle voice reads to you and makes you fall asleep when jason starts hearing soft snores from you he smiles and kisses your head as he says sweet things to you pulling the blanket over you to make sure your not cold
