Darry was minding his business sitting on the couch, watching whatever was put on the tv and laying his head back comfortably. You quickly came into the living room and leaned on the frame of the hallway trying to suppress your giggles. So of course he asked what so funny, and to your response you just pulled out a light pink thin ribbon.

“Remember how I showed you how to tie a bow in my hair?”

“Yea, but your directions were confusing.” He said raising his head slightly with a slight huff.

“Ok, so this is kinda like that but this time-“

“You’re not putting pink bows in my hair.” Your cheerful face quickly turns to annoyance. “Darry, how many times do I have to tell you to stop interrupting me?” You crossed your arms and your hand still holding onto the pink ribbon.

“Sorry.” He said softly, he knew it was bad manners but that’s what happens when you’re always hanging out with a bunch of boys, You forget your manners sometimes so bare with him.😭

“So as I was saying,” you walk over towards him and plop yourself down next to him on the springing couch and face him. “But this time I put it on you. But it’s not gonna be in your hair, it’s gonna be on your bicep!” You finish with a bright smile, waiting for his answer.

He looked at you for a moment, almost completely unfazed. Mostly due to the fact that you were always asking him to do the most silliest and most odd things. But this? This wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.

“Are you gonna to take a photograph of it?”

“Only if you let me.” You say with the same smile, and a small bat of your lashes. He dropped his head back onto the top of the couch and looked over your cheery face. And with a small grin he let out a sigh.

“You gonna show off the photo?” Great. How he sounded cocky. You rolled your eyes and let out a humorous sigh.

“Just let me put in the bow.”

“Fine.” And with the sound of his familiar yielded voice, he gave in. He lifted up his arm slightly to give you room to wrap the bow around his arm. You brought up the thin fabric up to his arm near his neatly folded sleeves were and began to tie the pretty silky ribbon around his bicep.

“There we go!” You say proudly, and tilted your head admiringly your work. You quickly got up and raced to Ponyboy and Soda’s room to grab there camera. You find it on top of one of Pony’s books on his desk and picked it up. You return to the living room and sit back down and raised the camera up to your eye. “There we go…Now flex your arm!” You say looking through the lens. He gives a small smile looking at you and lifts up his arm. A bright flash fills the room.

After you lift up the photograph up to your vision, and smiled proudly.

“This is gold right here.” <3
