As a former cheer/dance kid, I love the idea of having a little girl doing the same programs (★ ω ★) Also Reader is definitely Team Mom and in extention so is Aaron (if not more(he steals the position from her)) BAU! Aaron who starts leaving work early (which basically means leaving when everyone else does) so he can make it to practices and support his little girl. Compition days that start at 6-7 AM and he has coffee ready for Reader and a smoothie for the kiddos who aren't thrilled to be up so early but comply to getting ready because he put the good strawberries in their smoothies. (also can I be 🍄 anon please (^///^) )

comp days are usually saturday's, aaron's one day to sleep in if he's able, but he's the very first one up 🥺 as he's making smoothies, he feels slightly guilty about the noise it's making for everyone who's still asleep 😭 and when he goes room to room to get jack and baby girl up, he's met with small whines and lil drowsy sighs of protest 🥺 he's carefully lifting each kiddo out of bed, bringing them to the kitchen - with blankets still wrapped around them and one of his hands is clutching onto a beloved stuffed animal - he's seating them at their spot of the table in front of a smoothie, which lifts their mood instantly 😭 it's still dark out and jack's nearly falling asleep at the table LOL. hehe aaron's attempting to wake them up with small talk as he makes your coffee - asking baby girl if she's ready for the day, if jack's excited to see his sister compete, etc.. when you enter the kitchen, all ready yourself because aaron got everyone up, he just gives you a sweet kiss along with your to-go mug and asks if you need him to do anything else 🥺🥹 - which is usually a no because you have everything sorted/ready waiting at the door the night prior - so there's a little more time to sleep in and you aren't rushing out the door forgetting things. you just bury yourself cozily into him 🥰 pressing your face into his chest while his arms wrap around you tightly <333333 simply enjoying each other before a hectic day starts where you won't see him too much. the only thing that pulls the two of you away - except for the clock - ellie tries to steal the rest of jack's smoothie LOL

Durge gifts Gortash a special toy. A lovely plug that matches his gauntlets. A fun plug that will vibrate when the activation spell is spoken. And Durge tells him to wear it for the entire day.

And Durge watches with a smug smile as they quietly mutter the spell every now and then and Gortash tenses and bites his lip, holding back desperate whines all through his meetings and paperwork and rubbing elbows with the nobles.

Hi Chaos! I love the idea of J being bad at math 😆 Me personally I think he’d be good with numbers and stuff (even though he has to double check himself with basic addition lol, there’s too much going on in his brain for him to focus). But I do think he’d struggle to read a little bit. He’s not illiterate obviously, but sometimes the words don’t come to him immediately. Like he’d have to sound it out a few times, especially complicated words. It’s really noticeable when he tries to read out loud. He doesn’t read fluently and he pauses a lot. I’m imagining y/n asking him to read her a bedtime story and he gets all embarrassed because he can’t read that well. (Kinda like in Beauty and the Beast 😭)

Hear me out! I am a fast reader! I’ll read a thicc book in a day however I SUCK AT READING OUT LOUD. Don’t ask me to, I ain’t doing it.

Joker can read, duh, but like me, our diction is trash. It’s because our brain is reading the text faster than our vocal cords can produce. That’s the problem.

Enter Y/n, with copious amounts of patience. You’re a walking thesaurus for J!

You read to Joker every night and teach him how to adopt a manageable reading flow so he can follow along verbally. And you help him how to say different words correctly.

You help him practice reading aloud (because you secretly love listening to his voice) and you reward him with kisses when he reads a chapter without stuttering.

He’s doing better with his pronunciation and pacing yet he prefers when you read to him.

A few weeks after Josh came home from the Dreams in Gold tour, you found out you were pregnant. 

You called your sister and told her to come over. Josh was finishing up the new album at the studio, so he wasn't home. 

When Shelby got there, you showed her the test and she started crying. “I hope it's a girl,” was the first thing she said to you.

“How do I even tell him, Shelbs?” you asked her.

“He's in love with his brown high top vans, get a newborn pair and put them at the door and see if he notices.” she said. 

“That's not half bad, wanna come with me?” you asked her.

She nodded and grabbed her car keys. She drove you guys to the mall and you walked over to the vans store. 

Elysium, the employee, asked if they could help you find anything. You asked them, “So I found out I'm pregnant today. Do you have any baby vans? Specifically these ones?” and showed them a picture of his brown vans.

They said congratulations and went to the back to find you a pair. 

They brought the pair out and handed them to you. You paid and left the store. 

When you got home, you saw Josh's car in the driveway. Shelby dropped you off and you walked inside and saw him sitting on the piano bench. 

“Hey, where’d you go?” he asked you. 

“Went to the mall,” you kept it short, sweet, and to the point. 

“What did you get?” he questioned. 

“Sit down.” you told him, firmly. 

He sat straight down on the couch and you grabbed the box out of the bag. 

“Josh, I know this isn’t the best time for us to extend our family. But I'm pregnant, and I want to keep it.”

He looked at you in astonishment and softly tackled you into the couch. “Are you really? You’re really pregnant?” he asked you. You nodded and said, “Yeah, and I got them their first pair of shoes.”

You pulled out the pair of vans and placed them in his hands. He smiled and started getting teary eyed.

 “I'm a Daddy.” he said, in the quietest voice you’ve ever heard come from him.

So I work at a vet clinic and we have a new patient who's this small, little maltese puppy and the person who brings her in is this 6'0 "v much a dad" guy and after talking to him, learned it's his small daughter's dog that he and his wife got because their son, who was her best friend, moved to college. I've been thinking about a retired! SAHD! Aaron with like a 2nd grader Elle when Jack has graduated and went off to college (probably pre- law) and Aaron is devasted to see his little girl so heart broken after her brother leaving (tearfully) so he and R talk about getting a puppy and he does DAYS of research before coming to R with the perfect breed, a ethical breeder (Aaron doesn't strike me as a shelter guy 😭 (but R is and that's how they get their second dog heheh)), local vets w his he top three that he already got paperwork for, good food recs, ect, ect. Anyway, he make's it pretty clear that Ellie is responsible for the dog (tho he knows he will have to help) insert your typical relucant dog dad! Aaron who walks into the vet clinic to get the puppy her shots and this serious, tall guy has a little white puff ball gnawing at his fingers Thank you and goodnight 🍄

just ever since ellie was born, she's been attached to jack at the hip. she adores him more than anything 😭 she always wants to be with him, doing what he's doing. so all summer, you and aaron were prepping ellie - reminding her when jack goes back to school in the fall, he won't be at home. but that doesn't mean we won't see him!! he'll be back!!!! for holidays, and weekends here and there. we can even go there and visit him!!!

but the day jack moves :( ellie is still just besides herself 😭 she's awfully teary-eyed and clinging onto him, she's even dropped off at jj's or dave's for the day while you and aaron move him in - the day's just bound to be chaotic and you don't want her getting lost in all the hustle and bustle. but :(((( aaron feels sooo bad for his little girl, especially when he sees her playing alone 😭 so the discussion of getting a dog comes into play 🫢

you're right!!! aaron would do extensive research on everything dog related, it's definitely not a spur of the moment decision, and is extremely thorough with ellie on how it's a huge responsibility. like it's a living creature, not one of her stuffed animals 😭

hehe just: small puppy, big aaron 🤭🤭🤭🤭💞 aaron lovesss taking it on walks around the neighborhood, with ellie ofc 🥰 and he's so relieved that it helps with the new transition - more often than not, ellie's in the backyard playing ball with the newest family member, always cuddling it, (carefully) clipping little bows into it's long fur 🥹
