To think me and Lotus share the origin of imprisonment is sort of .....ironic? Creepy coincidence?” Layla wasn’t sure exactly how to feel even now when her child was almost four. 

             “I went not only through the harsh conditions of Impel Down but also a war holding her. I had my very insides ripped out of me by a Warlord  and could have lost her and not even known it with how much blood I had lost. I think the only thing that saved her was the fact I wasn’t in my hybrid form. I had tapped into the full power of my fruit which allowed me to shift her. I still don’t know or understand. Not that the child would stir she could sleep through cannon fire.
