They aren’t super different but I’d call this monster hunter AU or somethin’ .w.

In an alternate timeline where Francoeur really does become the monster of Paris. He’d tried for the longest time to find people who weren’t afraid of him, and not even Lucille did she was about to take him inside when something loud spooked the flea and caused him to panic. He wouldn’t dare go back out of fear that his presence wouldn’t be accept. And getting attacked in the streets at night while looking for food drove him into hiding. The loneliness didn’t do him good and something in him just broke one night. And he’d begun targeting people, mostly singers and entertainers. Colette one night received a call from Lucille and she’d come right away to help protect her along with her friends. And this begun her hunt for Francoeur and her inevitable love for the monster.

Man I’m already giving myself emotional damage over my AU 😭 I get very sad and emotional over hurting my f/os. And at some point in the au Colette gets a shot at Francoeur when she’s chasing after him. The bolt she sends at him actually is able to pieces through his shell unlike bullets. And when it does Francoeur just reals in pain and lets out a terrible yell. Not one of anger or furry just straight up fear and pain.

He’s probably terrified and overwhelmed having to deal with being on guard or trying to hide from people that he doesn’t even try to escape. And as Colette loads another bolt into her cross bow she aims it at him, but doesn’t shoot it. She’d made eye contact with him and sees just how terrified he is, and the realization sets in that he’s been terrified this who time. Not just her chasing after him but all the attacks and hiding.

In that moment it would break her, and he’d just be laying there waiting for this to end. But it wouldn’t Colette couldn’t bare adding any more torment to his existence. She’d already had developed some form of strange attachment to him and they’d eventually fall in love the more they both got used to one another. Specially when Francoeur realized she wasn’t going to be like other humans after she’d hurt him.

Im coming back with more Francoeur head canons because… he just is in my mind having a good time. And I can’t stop thinking about him 😭 but I feel that he doesn’t sleep well specially when he tries sleeping like everyone else does. Being under covers and just lying there doesn’t work for him. And Colette would try helping him find a way to get to sleep, eventually leading to find he needs to have a sort of nest to fall asleep in. Or he needs lots of pillows and stuffed animals surrounding him to not feel like he’s out in the open. Because he’s not like people he’s just so used to how he was as a small flea, that he needs a similar environment that he had then- just bigger :3c

I might be insane for this… but the temptation to draw Francoeur and Colette in the klaus style is very strong. Like lineless art is so fun and I don’t do it enough!! So maybe I’ll think of something for Christmas :3c

Ok. Because I’m very much a lover of fruit. There for Colette is too and she likes grapefruits just as much as I do. And Francoeur will just find her sitting up ontop of something high up like a little creature eat grape fruit no sugar nothing on it just eating the single slices at a time. And doesn’t eat the peal thing around the fruit bit- I’ve always hated that part and feel Raoul would pick on her for not eating it. Like first off how is she eating a sour fruit just straight up but can’t eat the inside peal thing?
