Luna learned about capitalism and got upset.

The principal difficulty of having a Pokémon pick up your groceries for you isn’t getting it to understand the concept of a grocery list, but getting it to understand the concept of capitalism.

One might assume that Meowth is the exception, given that Meowth is literally the capitalism Pokémon; the trouble here is that, while Meowth does understand capitalism, Meowth also understands shoplifting.

This is the UNOFFICIAL blog of the Marawhetu University of Pokémon Science (MUPS)! I will keep this brief for the moment, because I'm not sure what to say right now.

My name is Professor Musa and i will be running this blog. At least i hope so, because i cannot say how much time i have at any given moment. Being director of the head of the University does that, i hope you understand. My partners will possibly be featured quite frequently as our research is adjacent in many aspects!

// Hi, hello. I run this blog as a side blog, so I'll like and follow from my main @fire-water-grass-core . I also run @koffing-time, you probably know me from there, honestly. If you need to adress me (the player/mun), I'm okay with any pronouns, and if you need a name you can call me Kama, Nox or Cheese. (And please exuse me if i sound harsh sometimes, or ask stupid questions)

First: this is obviously a Pokemon irl rp blog. As I and the people I'll mostly interact with will pretend that Pokémon are real, this is a blanket #unreality warning. I'll usually tag with at least one of the following three tags: #pokemon irl, #pkmn irl or #pokeblogging. I will NOT tag everything with #unreality.

Second: this blog is a place for both my fake region "Marawhetu" as well as an outlet for headcanons that don't really fit on Koffing-Time. This Fake Region is still WIP and it's made for a TTRPG, so don't expect actual fakemons because i will probably not make many (if any) of those. Instead, i'll keep to hybrids (see Musa's intro), regional variants or convergent evolutions. Posts about the region specifically will be tagged with #marawhetu lore.

Third: i won't go too much into detail on my tags and interactions and stuff here. I will basically use the same format as on @koffing-time, read the pinned post there and you're good to go :)

Woke up to Amy crying. There's weird Steel-Types trying to eat her rattle. Soot's being a good big sister and scaring them off.

I can't imagine traveling without my precious Maria.

She was a Shuppet living in the attic. I noticed that when I was near her, my bad mood seemed to magically disappear. It turns out Shuppet eats negative emotions.

When I started my journey, she was my Starter. I traveled through Kalos with her by my side, and she's been with me since. From Hoenn to Unova to Paldea, I've been with her.

I still wear my Mega Earring, and she still wears her Banettite necklace.
