Hihi! I was just wondering : I applied months ago, did not hear back from the application, reapplied in the past few weeks, still nothing, is there anyone I can contact to know what criteria (s) I don't meet? I keep being hopeful to join the network and I made sure to fit the criteria. Could it be an age limit? Just knowing officially would bring closure. If it's because the staff has been busy, I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience <3 I am grateful for your time <3

Hey lovely! Yes, we've got our application open pretty much all the time at this point. It will probably be a little bit before we do another acceptance round, since we just recently did one. But rest assured that as long as you meet the 18+ requirement, you're essentially guaranteed a spot in the next acceptance!

Hey lovely! So the only thing I could think of would be if you're a minor. Since we are an exclusively NSFW network, we do block minors who interact with our posts. We have a pretty strict 18+ policy, so we do enforce it. If that's the case, I apologize.

However, if not, please feel free to DM me personally on my blog, @yamigooops, and we can figure it out from there! I'd hate for you to be unable to read and interact with our incredible writers if you're over 18!

Omg no!! While we are just a Haikyuu network, and will only be reblogging your HQ content, the majority of our members create content for other fandoms as well! The main purpose of the network is to promote content creators and provide fan work consumers with a place to find new creators.

We actually encourage the creation of works for other fandoms, even if we don't reblog it, and if you end up joining our Discord community, you'll find that a huge portion of the discussion on there actually happens about other fandoms. Since we include links to our members' master lists in the contributor list, readers will also have direct access to your other works.

So the short answer is as long as you plan on still putting out Haikyuu content, you are absolutely welcome in our little community of sin 😈

Network Announcement

Hello my lovely creators! We’ve got a potential problem on our hands. Tumblr has recently updated their tagging system, as you may have seen, and this is causing some potential long-term issues. There have been a few creators who have come to me and said their posts have either not been reblogged or are not showing up in the hqintheclub tag. Now, we reblog directly from the tag, so if your pieces have not been reblogged yet, that means either we made a mistake and missed it in the tag, which is entirely possible, or it just didn’t show up, which is a very serious situation to me, as I want you all to get the most exposure possible. 

So here’s what I’m proposing we do instead. You can continue to use the hqintheclub tag on your posts, as that is what I’m sure a lot of readers use to find your works. However, I would like for you all to start tagging the network in your posts. I should have had you do this in the beginning, as it’s a more reliable method of doing things and is a bit easier considering the fact that this blog has several mods working on it. However, I really didn’t expect for the tag to start filtering posts. Though I guess it makes sense considering there are 50+ people using it very frequently. 

By tagging the network in your pieces, this will give all of us mods direct access to your stuff, and will be a bit more organized for us. And as I said, it’s also just a more reliable method, as we are unable to tell directly what has and hasn’t been reblogged in the tag. I have said this so many times it’s probably annoying, but I really want to get you guys all the exposure that I can, and we can do that by making our system more reliable and streamlined. So I hope it isn’t too much to ask you to do this. You can do it however you like, whether it’s on the original post, or on a reblog with your tag list, just as long as we get a tag you’ll get a reblog. And we’ll still be going through the hashtag, so if you forget to mention us, you’ll still get reblogged, this is just easier for everyone to do it this way.

So long as you submitted the Google form we’ve gotten your application! Since we just did an acceptance, we won’t get back for a little bit but we’ve gotten a few new applications since then. hi, i want to just say that i applied via the google forms to join your blog/server and still haven’t heard anything from you guys. of course i understand you all have lives outside of tumblr and that sorting through submissions takes time, but since i submitted a of ID it makes me uncomfortable to be left with no response or contact from you guys for such a long while after i applied, i would like to be notified even if i didn’t make the cut just because it’s an update. also, for future consideration, maybe think about asking for ID “at the door”, or once someone is partially let into a discord server, to avoid making anyone else feel like this. i hope you understand where i’m coming from, i’m merely uncomfortable with the idea of going as far as submitting a form of identification and then not hearing back for such a long time.

Hi sweetie! So as you may see, I just posted the new round of acceptances. My original plan was to wait until we got 25 new applicants to make it an even 75 members (can you tell I have OCD?) However, they were coming in a lot slower than anticipated, so I decided to split it up so those who already applied wouldn't have to wait longer than they already had. The other reason it took so long was that I recently started a new full-time position (it's almost 70 hours a week) that has been taking up the majority of my time, so I was unable to carve out time to sit down and go through everything needed for the post. I thoroughly apologize about that, but that part's a little out of my control.

To address the ID issue: asking for writers' IDs in the application is asking for it "at the door," so to speak. We do not accept minors on this blog, and that is a 0 tolerance rule. I don't even want minors applying as it makes my life a little more difficult, so having that step there has (so far) deterred that from happening. And since not all the writers in the network have joined the Discord server, I can't do it then. I totally understand that it may make you a little uncomfortable with someone on the internet having your ID, but that's exactly why I put in the directions to block out all identifying information other than your birthday. It is for the protection of both of us. And just to hopefully lay any worries to rest, I am the only one with access to the answers to the Google Form, so I am the only one with access to the ID photos. I have absolutely no intention of sharing your information with anyone, nor do I plan on acting out toward you. I hope that answers your questions and puts your mind at ease 🥰
