Jaejin adjusted the collar of his borrowed school uniform, tugging at the stiff fabric as he glanced at his reflection. It had been years since he last wore anything like this—not since high school, when uniforms were a daily necessity. Now, in front of the mirror, he felt out of place in the crisp, too-neat fit of the blazer. But today wasn’t about comfort; it was about fitting in, blending in, and making a good impression.

The quiet hum of anticipation in the waiting room was a far cry from the controlled chaos of a music video set or the pressure of a practice session. The show would start soon, and although Jaejin had heard a lot about Knowing Brothers, this was his first time on the set as part of Type Zero. There was an undeniable thrill, but also a bit of discomfort. He wasn’t sure what to expect, and that uncertainty tugged at him.

When Hyoseop spoke, Jaejin glanced at him in the mirror before turning to face him fully. Hyoseop moved with an ease Jaejin envied—effortless, confident like he belonged in front of cameras. It was a presence Jaejin often struggled to cultivate. He tucked away the familiar sting of self-doubt, replacing it with a practiced smile.

"Yeah," Jaejin replied, his voice steady despite the nerves in his chest. "First time." He glanced back at the uniform, giving a small, self-conscious shrug. "Thanks. You pull it off better, though." The compliment came naturally, but his mind was already racing with thoughts of the show. Knowing Brothers was known for its quick wit and chaotic energy, and Jaejin wasn’t sure how well he’d handle it. Still, he’d have to try.

He took a breath and stretched his shoulders, shaking off the weight of expectation. "You’ve been on before, right? Any survival tips?" The question was light, but there was an honest curiosity behind it. He wasn’t entirely sure how this would go, and honestly, he just didn’t want to make a fool of himself

hyoseop quite enjoyed being on variety shows, he’d been on a few alone, but it was also quite enjoyable doing it along his members. hyoseop enjoyed being in front of cameras, even though he felt like they couldn’t catch his beauty (which was also why he rarely took selfies: they couldn’t catch his beauty), whether it was for a music video filming or for a variety show. he finds himself in the waiting room, they’ll be joining knowing brothers today. hyoseop looks in the mirror, it’s been a while since he wore a school uniform, last time was probably last time he was on knowing brothers.

“you haven’t been on the show before, right?” he turns to jaejin. though the two were members now, hyoseop still found himself a bit unfamiliar with jaejin, not really knowing what the other had done prior to type zero. jaejin was enjoyable to be around though, and hyoseop wouldn’t complain about his addition to type zero, seyoon’s neither. “you look good in the school uniform though” he nods, was jaejin still a student? hyoseop feels like that’s something he should know.
