name: bran and iliam leonhardt

gender: male.

general appearance: bran and iliam stand at 6'6". bran sporting darker hair than his twin brother while iliam has light blonde with pink mixed in. they both sport their father's teal eyes. they both sport a more lanky stature and are not nearly as broad or tall as their father. they both also have softer features thanks to their mother.

personality: bran is brash and headstrong. always the one to lead the charge. iliam is more reserved and kind. he is honest and blunt to a fault but he definitely approaches people with a smile.

special talents: bran is a fantastic soldier. follows every order that is given to him while iliam spends more of his days in books. learning and studying medicines and elixirs.

who they like better: bran -> cyrus. iliam -> lily.

who they take after more: bran takes after cyrus while iliam takes more after lily.

personal headcanon: bran used to drag iliam out to do play sword fighting but he was never the one to like picking up a sword. preferring his books on history and medicines. usually bran would tease him about such things but iliam never listened to his brother.

"moongulf was pretty nice. despite the constant bullying and forced isolation, my childhood wasn't so bad. i had a pretty good relationship with my parents and i often did things with them. they tried to keep me included with the other kids but i usually just ended up walking away and doing my own thing. i'd rather do what i wanted than to deal with people that didn't want me there."

there was a chuckle as she looked at him and touched his face. "of course i'm happier. i have you, our beautiful children have families of their own now, and we are living our lives in peace." her lips pressed to his before she huddled close to him. she was just happy that she had her family and that it was growing. there's a soft breath that left her. "what if we're not in every lifetime? what if you change your mind? what if--" there was a lot of what ifs and she didn't want to hold him back like that. she wanted him to be the happiest he could be and if that was without her, well.. she couldn't say much. this was just her mind being not so nice to her at this point and she couldn't help but apologize.

lily couldn't help the giggle that escaped her as she looked at takeshi. "no, it's fine! don't need to punch someone whose job is to scare people." she grabbed his arm and moved him along before holding his hand. "remember, it was my idea to come here. halloween is coming close and i wanted to do some festive things with you. we don't need you catching jail time for something like that." it was more a surprise than a scare, anyway. it wasn't like she got scared easily.

"come on, we're almost through and then maybe some good food after, eh?" she smiled up at him with a twinkle in her eyes even though it was a bit dark and the moon was shining through the maze they were walking through.

things were going so well. not long after getting married they had found out that they were expecting a little one to come into their little world. she was happy and they were finally in so much of a better place now. takeshi even said he was going to finally leave that business with seunghyun behind for good. she told him to take keres just in case but he just gave her that big ol' takeshi smile and said 'no reason. i'll be back. i love ya, lily' and then gave her a kiss before leaving out that door.

speaking of, it's been a while since she's heard from him. lily took her phone out of her pocket and began typing out a message to him.

[txt - keshi weshi <3] i hope everything is okay, keshi. it's been a bit since i've heard from you. i love you. [txt - keshi weshi <3] the little one misses you already and so do i.

she almost expected a response right away because that's just how takeshi was. especially when she was worried about something. always the one to quell her worries before they got out of hand but no. she waited for twenty minutes and nothing. not a damn thing and that's when the worry really started up. when he left, lily had texted keres about the ordeal. he promised he would at least be on standby near the location just in case--

there was a knock at the apartment door and she shifted to move before getting off the couch and opening the door with a bright smile. "there you are, tak--" her smile faltered when she saw keres standing there with blood on his hands and his shirt. "keres.. what hap--" there was a solemn look on his face as she stared at her. "lil, i--" emotions welled in her throat as she stared at him and tears began to gather at her water line. "no.. tell me this--this is some kind of sick joke you and takeshi are pulling.." the tears began to run down her cheeks. "..it isn't funny, keres.."

"it's no joke, lil. he's gone.." gone. gone. gone? he was gone? no. that couldn't be. he was just living and breathing not even an hour ago. how can he be gone? what was she kidding? it was one final fuck you from seunghyun. he couldn't let them live and be happy. let takeshi raise his family. it was like everything came crashing down in that moment and she collapsed to her knees. screaming and crying such a guttural one that she was certain that the neighbors were concerned.

she didn't care. the love of her life was dead. DEAD! all because someone didn't want to LET HIM GO! her body trembled as she let out another loud and blood curdling cry. keres moved and held her tight to his chest. "you.. you better have returned.. the favor.." keres held the back of her head. "i did.. it's been dealt with.." she let in a shaky breath before pressing her face into his chest and began to sob heavily. "i'm right here, lil.." if keres wasn't here, she was sure she would have done something reckless and stupid. keres moved takeshi's phone, wallet, and keys onto a nearby table.

keres even brought his car back. that car had so many damn memories tied to it--

part of her wanted to strangle takeshi for not just taking keres with him. it was done now.. there was nothing for her to do. nothing for her to say. the light in her world just went out and it was going to be hard. takeshi would never meet his child, she wouldn't get to hold his hand anymore, never go on another date or watch a shitty movie with him. the silence of the apartment was already too much to bear. it would be so silent without him. so very fucking silent.

as badly as she didn't want to see his body, she had to. no matter how much it killed her inside, she had to see him. to cement it into her mind even if she were to block it out. "takeo.. does he know?" she asked as she looked up at him with ruby red blood shot eyes. there was a nod. he had sent him a text when he stood at the door to the apartment. "shit.. shitshitshit.." she wondered how takeo was handling the news. she had to handle all this alone--no.. she had keres, siius, and takeo there but.. he was her husband.

"takeshi.. i can't do this alone.." her hands wrapped around her stomach and she cried even more. shaking and whimpering as she tried to hold herself together but it was like putting a vase back together with school glue. it wasn't working. it.. wasn't working--

there was a dusting of pink on her cheeks and nose from the cold. usually the cold didn't give her too much of a problem. it seemed it got under her skin this time around. at least it was evident for her husband. he had wrapped his scarf around her to keep her warm. who was she to complain? it smelled like him and it was warmth.

her eyes went up to him. to make sure he wasn't cold. "thank you.."

the kids were in bed for the night and they were winding down for the night. her hair finally dried from the shower she took earlier and it was a struggled to brush her thick hair. that was when her husband had took the brush from her and began to take it upon himself to do it for her. there was a smile on her face as she closed her eyes and allowed him to do such.

"thank you for doing this. it's getting a bit hard to manage and i'm not sure if i should get it cut." lily loved her long hair but sometimes it was just so difficult.
