DAY 14 - open ♥ 

coming in so late — though he doubts two weeks is enough time to really get to know someone — liam knows he needs to get a move on and actually talk to people. to try and see what the situations around the villa are and then figure out which ones are legit. and, of course, find someone he likes. hopefully. maybe. either way, he heads over to whoever’s closest. “ i was just wondering if you’d wanna go for a chat ? "

day 19 / morning after luke’s departure ♥

he wasn’t at all surprised he was in the lower end of a public vote — he’d barely been in the villa a few days and it’s not like he’s going out of his way to make waves or drama — but being saved by the islanders ? he didn’t see that coming at all, more than convinced he’d be heading home last night. the fact that he’s still here has him a bit smug, a barely-absent smile tugging at his lips since he got out of bed.  he’s almost got a new perspective on everything, his ego suffering a knock only to have it so fed by the fact the people in this place LIKE him ? maybe they just think he’s hot, maybe they just hated josh and luke more... either way, it feels good and he’s ready for the new day. 

“ morning. ”  he greets whoever wanders into the kitchen, a turn of his head and a smile before he practices a perfect flip of the pancake he’s cooking. “ are you hungry ? ” he might have made too much.

he is/was a pro climber and so a bit of a personality in the climbing world, usually documents his climbs and likes to vlog anything interesting he’s doing 

he’s not officially retired but he’s on a bit of an involuntary ‘off-season’ as he injured his shoulder at his last competition and he has not been patient with the recovery, making it worse

he’s more or less been told he has to rest or he’ll injure something permanently so his sisters talked him into applying to love island since his love life is shit and if he’s gonna do nothing he may as well do something

proper outdoor enthusiast, loves going for walks and hiking and being out with nature - thinks the world was made for exploring and life is meant to be lived so he’s always got plans and will make them if he doesn’t

bit of an adrenaline chaser, loves extreme sports and pushing his limits whether physical or mental just to know what’s on the other side of it 

often teeters between being adventurous and openminded to just being a dumb fucking idiot tbh ... like he is just dumb

can be quite quiet sometimes and gets in his head but is always there to say yes to a stupid decision or hype someone up - he’s not really a loud or in your face person but he will definitely call out any bullshit as he sees it

genuinely looking for a life partner(s?????), someone to travel the world with and discover things together - doesn’t have to necessarily climb but someone active is a turn on for him bc hiking is very romantic ok xxx

he is ‘unlabelled’ bc he really just do not care but often dates men and regrets it every time so we shall see - he’s rly sick of the dating scene tbh but he is LONELY 

so he’s kinda excited abt love island tbh just to be around a group of people he’s hopefully never met

there’s some tense vibes, some chill vibes, but overall a weird mix of everything. though out of everyone, he thinks he and callie, and josh and naomi, are on the more positive side of things. and naomi definitely knows the villa better than him. “ how long do you think it’ll be until it’s all chill again ? the next recoupling ? ” though he wouldn’t necessarily say his time before the recoupling was hella chill, with whatever that mimi x luke x dylan thing was.
