You're right! I'm sorry if it was confusing! It wasn’t meant to be complicated, but you’re correct. The shift is that their feelings toward each other changed—they went from being annoyed with one another to something more. So, yeah, your interpretation is spot on!

HELLO! I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS 😭 (I JUST LOVE TIL DEATH DO US PART A LOT)

So while I was reading I had some questions coming up, first one being, did Jake and Y/n travel back at the same time? Because didn't Jake die before Y/n (which was months ago) the second question being, did Jake know about his death all along or did he get memories slowly? Like that was another question which made me think 🤔 and then the last one I had was the two were arranged married right? So, did the two just ignore each other or something for four years?

Other than that, I REALLY REALLY ENJOYED READING THE FIC!! ✨❤️

DID JAKE AND Y/N TRAVEL BACK AT SAME TIME?

— I wrote the fic while keeping in mind that both Y/N and JAKE travelled back to the past at the same time, which technically is after Y/N ended her life. Now, JAKE could've been a soul watching after her after his own death while she was still alive or he might've been trapped in the place where he died because his wishes were still unfulfilled after death.

DID JAKE KNOW ABOUT HIS DEATH ALL ALONG?

— Yes. It wasn't that he was getting memories of the life he had lived before his death but that he actually knew all along about his own death (just like Y/N did) which was why he didn't stop her when she was trying to make things a little better for the two.

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MARRIAGE WHICH LASTED FOUR YEARS?

— I think I mentioned this in the fic itself in some lines but I'll say it again. The two were just opposite people put together in a mess and since in the past they had resented each other-the efforts were often overlooked by Y/N. And while JAKE at least had good behaviour to support his argument, he was more of a playful type and made harmless jokes that were offensive for her. Which would lead to arguments, hence the “distance” they had put and maintained until they travelled in the past.

Okayyy... ....i've read TIL DEATH DO US PART a while ago and my mind went places. I've decided not to comment and just admire the work (liked and reblogged) and move on. But it was too beautiful, I was hesitant to read it at first cause the concept was (to me personally is sensitive) but decided to read anyways and my my, did I just not regret. 😍 When he said "I just want to spend my last months with you, thinking we’re just... normal. Like any other couple.” my heart sank to the floor. (Not that it wasn't smashed already when YN was left with grief and yearning). The fact that they both knew was so heartbreaking. (Its my first time reading whre both characters are aware of their future or present or whichevrr timeline they came from// where both characters a doing the redo). The intensity of longing for each other and fear because of uncertainty of the future. YN putting her best efforts to at least lessen the regret and guilt of not trying for their marriage hits hard. Jake knowing what the future holds for him but still decided to focus and give her a chance even after all that happened. Though its their second chance the build up was so good and ending it with a baby on the way is just 💓💓🥺 i melted at the end (though i can still feel the lingering fear cause of the incident -it was greatly written, its embeded in my brain). It made me feel things and again, i wanna say it was beautiful. Its my first time reading your work. I hope you never loose the inspiration for writting. 💌🖤 i yap too much. Sorry 😅 🫶

I get the point that the topic of ‘death’ can be touchy for some people and it's okay, though I'm really really glad you gave it a try. Help!! I can't stop answering this while smiling AGHHSTHH!!! Kinda felt bad for the pain I've made Y/n go through so I decided to give her a happy ending lol, that's it. Which also inspired the dialogue you mentioned.

Honestly, I keep experimenting with different plots which gives birth to something like this. As someone who watches a lot of kdramas and reads webtoons, my plot thinking literally develops from them. For this one, I had just finished reading ‘Marry my husband’ the webtoon version and it got me thinking what if it was something like that but completely different? hence the plot. And what's better than a baby on the way in the ending 😗

I kind of wanted to keep the pace slow so I believed it was slightly rushed 😬 but the fact that it still was able to bring some emotions to life is a huge compliment!!

I didn't feel like answering this ask at all. Only so I could read this whenever I felt down or was on a writers block. The way I tell you I was feeling sad until I received this in my inbox, it totally brightened my day (yes, it's that easy to make me smile 🫡) not losing any motivation for a month after this sweet message anonie!! i appreciate it more than you might've felt reading the reply!! 💕
