“ you know that i can't be here forever. i need to head home eventually, and you're the one causing your own suffering. ” his words cause disbelief to cross her features. “ what? i'm the best-est friend you have right now. i care so much that i'm here trying to stop you from making an even worse mistake than it'll already be. who else would do this for you? i'm saving you so— ” she reaches for the container once again, pinching him slightly in an attempt to get his arm closer. “ give me the ice cream! ”

louie gasped. "y-you'd let me suffer on my own?" his lower lip couldn't help but fall into a natural pout due to the news from cindy. he still had the container out of her reach, looking towards her with the shocked expression. "are you saying you wouldn't care if i died? what kind of friend are you?" he feigned hurt, and honestly he would've been taken seriously if it wasn't for the ice cream on the tip of his nose from continuing to eat straight out of the pot.

she smiles brightly when karina responds positively to the idea. “ okay, good. because i've booked you a whole three hours at the spa. it'll just be you and their top-tier vip pampering. and then— ” she looks at kyung in the backseat, shooting him a finger gun. “ this little guy and i are going to hit all the slides and pools they have! ” cindy cheers, laughing with excitement, before returning her attention to the car's dash to set up some road trip music. her head perks up at the other's words. “ you're overexaggerating, come on. i'm happy we got to reconnect, though. now i get to spend all this time with the both of you and spoil you guys with all the fun things. ”

♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :; karina  glances  at  the  car's  dash  while  fastening  her  seatbelt,  an  eyebrow  arching  up  when  she  hears  cindy  has  changed  the  place  they  will  be  staying  at.  " oh,  i  don't  mind  that. "  she  reassures  and  starts  the  car.  hearing  all  of  the  extras  that  come  along,  her  smile  only  widens.  " it  sounds  beyond  exciting!  i  haven't  been  to  such  a  place  and  we  do  deserve  some  pampering. "  a  spa  sounds  quite  good  actually.  the young woman sighs  softly  as  she  finally  dives  off.  " my  life  was so  miserable  without  you.  "  she  says,  truthly  meaning  it.  having  a  friend  to  rely  on  is  absolutely  amazing. / @vvfied

“ i don't think they actually ever showed a thousand ways to die in the show even though they called it that… it was just some catchy title, but you'll wind up adding to that episode roster at the rate you're going. ” she swipes the spoon away from him as he moves his hands in an attempt to stop him from consuming more. “ i know i'm lactose intolerant so i'll pass. i'm going to take this away from you so you can chill out and stop before you aggravate your sensitivity even more. ”

"do they really give you a thousand ways to die...?" louie asked, head propping to the side as he listened to cindy speak. "uh... enough that it'd trigger any sign of an underlying dairy insensitivity i might've had." he grinned, before his hands moved to rest against his stomach as it gurgled menacingly. "want some? ice cream, that is. not dairy sensitivities. you can take those from me though if you really wanted them, i won't put up a fight."

“ yes? there's probably an episode of that in a '1000 ways to die'. ” her eyebrows knit. “ how much ice cream have you had? ”

"has any ever died from too much ice cream?" louie asks, before shoving the spoonful of vanilla ice cream into his mouth, looking to the other for answers.

“ wait, stop! ” she's in disbelief at his actions as she holds the spoon high and away from him. she deters his efforts and her disbelief turns into utter shock when he dips his head to try an eat more. “ oh my god, louie— what are you doing? ” her hands grab at the ice cream container in an attempt to take it away from him. “ i don't want your ice cream— i want you to stop eating it and stop aggravating your dairy sensitivity. be serious, you're going to regret all of this in about an hour and i won't be here to help you with the consequences. ”

"well... that's a bit misleading, isn't it?" louie asked in thought, wondering if there was a thousand ways to die. he'd have to start watching the show, they'd clearly got a headstart on him. his attention was elsewhere, thinking of a thousand ways to die as cindy swiped the spoon away from him. it was as if he was like an animal crossing character facing the shock emotion, an exclamation point would've sat at the top of his head if possible. "not fair!" he was talking in a pout now, trying to wrangle the spoon from the girl beside him and moving the pot up to try and get another mouthful. "if you wanted one, you only had to say! i would've got you one too! well, not ice cream. sorbet doesn't have dairy in it, does it?" he asked, being aware of her intolerance before ultimately dipping his head into the pot to continue eating.

having already taken the passenger seat, cindy was busy setting up the gps when the other calls out to them. “ i'm ready! ” she cheers enthusiastically, a hand raising and laughter bubbling from her lips as she's practically dancing in her seat. glancing over her shoulder, she gives kyung a thumbs up before she returns her attention to the car's dash. “ oh, by the way, we're not going to the house we originally booked. i changed it to a resort nearby because we might as well go all out after you took some time off. ” slipping on her seat belt, she leans into the seat to look at karina with an excited smile. “ it's got kiddie pools, spas, and slides right on the beach! doesn't it sound exciting? ”

♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :; with  the  luggage  in  the  trunk  of  the  car  she  has rented,  karina  climbs  into  the  drivers'  seat,  a  huge  smile  plastered  on  her  face.  " ladies  and  gentlemen,  are  you  ready  for  our  beach  trip? "  she  questions  and  looks  at  cindy  then  at  kyung  at  the  back  seat,  who  of  course  enthusiastically  answers  his  mother.  " yes,  let's  go  quickly! "  she  never  really  took  the  time  to  take  him  places  because  she  needed  to  work, earn  more  money,  have  enough  for  her  and  her  son so this is a good change. / @vvfied
