โ ๐ห ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง. An angel, even. He's always a good person. His parents knew. His girlfriend knows, and she knew. His best friends knew. His fans know. The whole world knows. He gives out generous donations to charities, he helps out at the homeless shelter, he helps old people cross the street, heโs volunteered at other places, heโs a doctor, he spoils his girlfriendโhe even actively speaks out against violence.
So you can only imagine how a fan of their idol, someone they aspire to be, felt as they were getting killed by whatโs known to be an angel.
He knows he was a good person. He was told by his friends that he was a good person, so how could he not know that he was good? All his fans tell him that he is a good person, so how can he not know that he, himself, is a good person? His girlfriend knew he was a good person, so that should be enough proof there.
But sometimes, he knows he doesnโt deserve to be called a good person when he sees the look of betrayal and fear in one of his fansโ eyes, seeing them wonder why they were so foolish to believe everything they see on the internetโwhy they were so foolishly hellbent on thinking that he is a good person.
Even then, his friends said he was a good person. His girlfriend said he was a good person too. But he used to see the same fear, sadness, and betrayal from a girl he was once friends with from elementary to middle school. Nobody knew that he saw that in her face almost everyday until she finally couldnโt take it anymore.
He was such a monster that she couldnโt take it anymore.
His best friend looked at him the same way at the beach. His parents looked at him the same way. His girlfriend looked at him the same way. His sister looked at him the same way.
He looked at himself the same way.
And as he discards the knife, his phone rings to see his girlfriend calling him, asking himself why she cane back to himโwhy she stayedโwhy she still ๐๐๐๐๐
someone she knew wasnโt a good person, why she tells other she knows heโs a good person. He answered the phone to talk to the girl that thought he changed. That knows for sure that he changed. She knew he was a good person. She knows heโs a good person.
She needs to pick one.
He said heโd be home in a bitโthat he has some things to take care of, like signing his books at Barnes & Noble, something heโs known for doing frequently. But never at night.
Heโs a liar. Barnes & Nobles closes early on Sundays. However, not all of them do. Maybe he really did drive 30 minutes to the one still open because he loves his fans so much. She knows heโs a good person. She knew he was a good person.
But he knew that someone else knew he wasnโt a good person. He knew that one of his friends, a friend that had seen it all, that was smart enough to know it all, knew that he isnโt a good person, nor that he never was in the first place, starting high school. He was incredibly smart. Smarter than Hanbin. He was a detective that solved all the hardest cases.
And yet, he never snitched on him. Why doesnโt he snitch on him? Why does he allow him to kill all these innocent people? Why is he perceived as innocentโthe same level of innocence as his victims? He has the power to put Hanbin in jail. He has all the evidence needed that other detectives couldnโt even come close to finding. Does that make him a bad person as well? Does that make him a good person for saving him? Or is he planning something?
Maybe protecting his girlfriend from the hard truth? But that last part couldnโt be it, because he knows that she knows. She picked how she perceived him a long time ago, and still stayed.
All the other questions, however, he canโt find answers to. He finished getting rid of the body, put on his coat to hide the stains on his dress shirt, and left. It was time to move on with life and continue to play pretend with the world, taking every compliment, excitement and love he got from fans that recognized him, while his victims who once shared the same love, excitement, and compliments stay behind.
No fan is the exact same, but they do potentially share the same fate. Unless they live outside of the United Kingdom, of course. He doesnโt plan on traveling right now. He does, however, plan on having another meet and greet soon, saving someoneโs life as a doctor, donating to charities, volunteering at some places, and speaking out against violence and the very serial killer that he was to let the world keep thinking that he is a good person.
Maybe heโll buy his girlfriend a few gifts on the way home while heโs at it.
