Sleepwalking into the hashira’s futon for warmth

It’s cold and you crave warmth. Where is a better place to sleepwalk into than into the futon of your crush?

Pairing: Sanemi, Kyojuro, Gyomei, Giyu x hashira!gn!reader

(Prologue)

The winter in Japan is always extremely cold, especially when you’re sleeping in a room without a heater. Yours broke down a while ago and now your whole estate is frozen over, forcing you to temporarily move into another hashira’s estate. To your luck, you were assigned to stay with your crush until the kakushi manage to repair your heater. Yet, the room you were sleeping in was freezing and your body knew that. You fell into a deep sleep and felt how you were suddenly surrounded by comforting warmth. Opening your eyes and glancing aside, you spotted…

…Sanemi Shinazugawa, who is sleeping without a blanket.

How the hell did you get here? Why do you have five different blankets stacked on top of you? And why is Sanemi sleeping next to you sp nonchalantly? You tried to crawl out beneath of the mountain of blankets, but your lack of energy stopped you from doing so. It was just so comfortable and warm and the smell of him all around you was kind of intoxicating. You’ve been depraved of warmth for too long to crawl away from it again.

You turned your head towards Sanemi again. He was facing away from you and looked to be deeply asleep. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and yet he sacrificed his blanket for you. You felt your face starting to flush, but not because of the blankets on top of you. He, Shinazugawa, the meanest and angriest of them all, tolerated you crawling into his bed like you own it and then hog his blanket, just to give you more blankets. Your heart felt like it was about to explode just from the sheer embarrassment and butterflies that are currently filling up your stomach. You fell back asleep with a bright grin on your face.

…Kyojuro Rengoku’s warm chest and arms being wrapped around you to keep you warm.

Oh gods, he’s so incredibly warm and comfortable! You never want to leave his arms, although you two aren’t dating. At least not yet and you really hope to change that soon. You seemingly sleepwalker into his bed and Kyojuro just welcomed you into his arms. He probably felt how freezing your body was and decided to warm you up with his touch. That’s just how he is, he always helps the one in need. Even the freezing ones that crawl into his bed uninvited.

He still looks so peaceful and deeply asleep, you’re not sure if he even woke up when his arms wrapped around you. Just as you finished the thought, Kyojuro’s arms pulled you a little closer as a quiet snore escaped his lips.

Perhaps he subconsciously is using you as some sort of teddy bear or body pillow. There’ll surely be a very interesting conversation in the morning when you wake up, but for now, you’ll take advantage of this. It’s not everyday that the flame hashira is cuddling and warming you up in his arms!

…Gyomei Himejima sleeping on the floor so you have more space for yourself.

His eyed were closed and he was seemingly asleep, but obviously uncomfortable. You had his large and warmed up bed all to yourself, with all the sheets and pillows. But Gyomei apparently didn’t mind to give all of that up for you and just take the space on the floor. You felt incredibly bad for sleepwalking into his bed and now hog all the warmth and space.

Gyomei trains under extreme conditions snd circumstances, so he deserves a good rest after all his hard work. You moved over to lay right beside him and draped the blanket over you two. You really hoped he didn’t mind to sleep side by side with you. Perhaps that’s the reason he wanted to give you his bed, so that you don’t feel uncomfortable in anyway. That sounds like something he would do.

You leaned your head against his bicep and closed your eyes again, starting to slip back into a deep sleep. Just before you travelled to the land of dreams, you felt the large weight beneath you shift and how you’re being tucked in with a large, warm blanket.

…How Giyu Tomioka was staring into your soul, mortified, sheets pulled over his chest.

“What are you doing in my bed?”

You were just as horrified as he was. Where are you? Is Giyu in your bed or are you in his? How did you even get here? You never wanted to crawl into a hole and bury yourself in it so badly. He moved out of the futon and stood up, looming over you. He looked extremely messy and sleepy, and in your opinion, very adorable.

“You know what? Stay. Keep my bed. I’m sleeping somewhere else.”

He slowly walked around the futon and towards the bedroom door, but you stopped him from leaving by scrambling out of his bed yourself.

“N-No, you can have it, it’s your bed!”

Giyu shook his head and waved you off.

“I don’t care. I don’t want to sleep in it anymore.”

You noticed the faint blush on his face but didn’t dare to point it out. Or else that man just might evaporate. Is the idea of sleeping in the same bed you invited yourself into so bad? Perhaps Giyu just can’t handle the thought of you cuddling up to him again. He won’t mention that to you either or else you both will evaporate out of shame.

I luckily never sleepwalked, so I’m not sure how accurate this is XD This was very fun to write though, tysm for requesting, hope you enjoyed!! 96. Do you like carnival rides?

Of fuckin' course I do! Growing up the carnival was the only thing we could afford to do that was fun (and not illegal). Every few months some huge run down carnival would come to town and just about everyone would go, even the families who couldnt afford it got in by just bypassing the good-for-nothing workers. Just about every night it was there you could find me. Some of my best memories are there, high out my mind flyin' through the air on those rides.

Cuddling with a pillow instead of the hashira

As a test, you decided to ignore the hashira and cuddle with a comfortable pillow instead of them. How will they react?

Pairing: Sanemi, Kyojuro, Gyomei, Giyu x reader

Sanemi Shinazugawa

He’d actually be very hurt. Surprisingly, Sanemi won’t grumble or complain to you about not being held. He believes you probably have a reason for it and that he had done something to upset you, so he’ll try not to annoy you further. He would silently lay beside you in bed, not being able to sleep. He’s gotten so used to being pampered with your soft caresses, your warmth and comforting smell. Now he can’t even sleep for one night without you even remotely touching him. Normally, when he has to sleep somewhere else due ti missions and you’re not there, Sanemi’d ask you to hold you a little longer during the night before to charge up on his cuddle-meter, but you now being ignored feels like withholding an addictive drug he got addicted to from him.

You really can’t ignore him for long, you expected him to say something or be openly annoyed, but his quietness is deafening. You abandoned your cuddle companion and rolled over, wrapping your arms around Sanemi’s broad back and cuddling onto him, big spooning his large body. Your face was nuzzled into his warm neck. You felt his muscles slowly soften. They felt incredibly tense for the first few seconds until he finally relaxed into your touch. A deep sigh escaped his lips.

“You were teasin’ me? You’re mean. I’m gonna ignore ya too if you do that again.”

Kyojuro Rengoku

His first reaction would be confusion. It was your and his nightly routine to cuddle together! Besides, you told Kyojuro so many times how you love to cuddle him because of the warmth and how perfectly your bodies fit together. So what changed? Was he the problem? Did he do something to upset you?

He’d carefully lay down beside you in bed, not sure if you even want him there right now, and give you your space. Your husband would be a little uneasy and keep moving around. Normally you’d be his pillow and now he doesn’t really have a comfortable position to sleep in. He’s just used to holding you every night. After a while of tossing and turning, Kyojuro would finally roll over to face you and ask you what’s wrong. You couldn’t help but grin a little at how his face started to brighten up again. The fact that this was just some silly test of yours and not that you’re mad at him made him extremely relieved. Your husband practically jumped back into your arms the second you opened them for him.

“Please just ask about reaction up front next time instead of testing me. I was so worried I’ve upset you!”

Gyomei Himejima

Gyomei would think you have a reason for avoiding coming close to him. Perhaps you need some space to yourself and he will respect that. He’d quietly lay down beside you and not question your behaviour, instead focusing on trying to get back to sleep without your warmth anywhere near his body. He’ll try not to, but he can sense every single movement you did beside him. He’s trying not to think about further reasoning on why you’re doing this and what could be worrying your beautiful mind. Was it him or someone else that hurt you? Or are you having cramps again? If that were to be the case, Gyomei’d gladly warm up some stones to put onto your abdomen or massage your pain away, so why ignore him.

He cannot help but to finally ask you why you’re ignoring him. After hearing that it was just a test, Gyomei’s face still remained unmoving. Your husband wasn’t very fond of the way you executed your testing.

“I understand. Please tell me about future tests beforehand so I can prepare. I thought you needed space away from me.”

Giyu Tomioka

He’d silently lay beside you a moment, watching you hold the pillow against your chest. Doubt began to creep into his mind. Perhaps you don’t like being held by him or worse, you grew sick of him. Giyu pushed himself into a spiral of all kinds of worries and is now staring at the ceiling above, thinking about every worst possibility. He was lying completely still and not even changing positions out of comfort. He slowly rolled over, facing you.

“Do you prefer a pillow over me?”

His voice was a little shaky and very quiet. It was almost heartbreaking. Giyu looked like a kicked puppy after you turned to face him. His worried expression made you loose your cuddle pillow immediately and pull him into your arms, where he belongs. You had to reassure him that you prefer him over any pillow every day, and that you just wanted to test him this out to see his reaction. He side-eyes you while being nuzzled against your chest.

“Don’t do that again. Please.”

Yes I know this isn’t a request somebody gave me but something of my own idea. I have a lot of requests that I need to get to and I will I promise, I don’t have enough energy to do that today :,) My cramps have been killing me a little and I don’t think I’d be able to do the asks justice and write them properly right now. hey im gunna have a privileged complaining moment but i fucking hate that im inheriting a house

like goddamn i am thankful about a stable living situation and never having to worry about rent or a mortgage

but also like this is a house that's brought me misery and its been renovated so there's not even the cozy nostalgia, like i am literally being haunted by ghosts of how happy things used to be and how horrible i can feel

like ik i can sell it but 1) no and 2) that feels so fucking stupid. in today's housing market you think im gunna give up a perfectly well kept paid off house with a screened in porch a pool and a privacy fence ? like i spent the last 8 years being a privileged bitch but i did still spent nearly 13 where sometimes i would come home from school and the water and power would be off bcuz we couldn't afford the bills you can pry this stability from my cold dead hands

anyways i blame modern interior design trends for like a good 40% of my current mental health problems i miss when houses were cozy im getting carpet put back in here asap
