Whoa, Iblis and Mephiles are a lot uglier than I remember.

What makes this even more hilarious is that Maligore (top image) is known as The Great Flame of Destruction, similar to Iblis’ Flames of Disaster title.

Dark Spectre (bottom image) has to do with darkness. And his name makes me think of the Sceptre of Darkness, that held Mephiles.

They look similar because one is a repaint of the other. But they are unrelated to each other, appearing at different times in the series.
