tbh. cynic's dimension is the anti-thesis to chaos crisis' entire psychology.

some facts about her!

up until sa1, she tried to impress cynic and win him over, as per the usual timeline stuff. although their dynamic was always a bit rocky. cynic liked having amy around because he liked being liked, but he was bad at being liked. amy over time grew disillusioned with her blue 'hero' - but tried to keep the door open for him. the final nail in the coffin was after she tried to check on him post sa1, and he bluntly pushed her and the rest of their little group 'away'.

she plays the part of head-hero in their dimension! although it's a bit of a group effort between the others like tails, knuckles, and team dark. despite her always wearing a rot hoodie and seeming mildly depressed, amy is still pretty bubbly and kind. just in a bit more 'mellow/tomboyish' way.

is dating shadow. best friends with rouge somehow. likes to stick cute magnets on omega. is an unofficial member of team dark. also cream and tails are her little siblings who she will maul anyone if hurt.

oddly enough, this universe's version of blaze was a lot more sociable and open... she and amy became fast friends.

on occasion she tries to reach out to cynic and see how he's doing, but for the most part she's moved on. it is what it is.

pretty close with their knuckles, too. one of the few people who's allowed on angel island. trains with him to perfect her strength.

Speaking of Rosy, I need to think about Villain's Rosy 🤔

The messiest thing about cynic is his hypocrisy. He pushes people away all the time, but at the same time he needs people and he needs validation and he needs to appease his fear of abandonment. And there are bridges that he's burned in his world that, even though he's UNHINGED about other Sonic's and their successful friendships, he's so desperate to fill the hole his friends left.

It's why he would so easily get attached to other Amy's. Why he'd slot right into a friendly rivalry with other Knuckles or even Shadows. It's why he replaced his "little buddy" (Tails) with another kid who he saw himself in. Back during his classic days/adventure days he really dropped the ball. Part of him wants that life back but the guilt he feels always haunts him and ultimately leads him to continue to sabotage his relationships lmao.
