I was walking out of the Walmart today, and a car passed me, and I got this incredibly vivid impression. It wasn't really in words, but if I had to put it into words, the two key points would be

a). I needed to watch that car and

b). That I needed to be careful, because the driver of the car was a massive bitch.

It kind of took me by surprise, because I really had no reason to be beefing with that car, and I also hadn't really had an impression like that since I was religious, which was in my teen years. Right? It'd been a decade since I had a little voice whisper in my ear, and I'd basically written it off as nonsense.

Anyway, I watched the car, because The Spirits or whatever were very insistent that I did. Car drove fine, went into the parking spot, inched forward, and right when it should've just stopped, the driver gunned it for some reason and it ran into the curb and cracked its bumper.

So, the driver got out, and she went to the front of the car to check that yes, she had cracked her bumper, and then she turned to look at me. The parking lot wasn't empty, but we were the only two people standing in that row, and I'd probably been staring at her for tenish seconds now.

She demanded very angrily to know why I hadn't warned her of the curb. And I could have said I didn't know you were about to gun it or is it my job to help every stranger park, or even could you have even heard me, inside your car?

And all of those would have been fine, but I was really, really busy digesting that I had somehow communed with Mormon Jesus again for the first time in fifteen years, and that the communion had mostly been there to let me watch someone park badly (?), so what I responded with was:

"Because it was foretold."

And I can't tell which would be funnier, if she went silent because there's not much to be said to that, or if she went silent because in Utah, she might actually believe me, but we parted ways without more words.

I'm still kind of digesting this myself, actually.

i’m completely and utterly in love with the concept of reader developing feelings for alastor, but she knows he’s aroace so she doesn’t know how to communicate/doesn’t wanna cross any boundaries. so the next best thing? distance and close herself off from him.

when they’re in the same room she will not look at him or talk to him in case it slips that she’s head over heels.

she even goes as far as standing on the other side of the room because being too close to alastor sends her into a nervous frenzy.

but alastor, being the very observant demon that he is, notices how closed off she’s being when he’s used to her standing close to him. used to her soft and calming voice. used to having her presence around him all the time.

does he miss it? yes. will he ever admit that out loud? absolutely not.

so alastor confronts her about it. and maybe it takes a bit of poking and prodding to finally get reader to admit everything and she’s so terrified because “i don’t wanna lose you to my stupid and idiotic feelings”

but then… hehe. alastor just says;

“my darling, i love and cherish your company more than any of the others here. it’d be a downright shame to not have a beauty like you on my arm”

claudia tucked away her victims' last words. lestat plays with his food. armand seduces them into embracing death. louis refuses the kill now. i think daniel is going to swallow his victims blood and visceral, unhinge his jaw and take every ounce of their soul. louis cannot stomach the emotions as he eats, but daniel has made them his drug, his nourishment. feed me your desires, your fears, and your body. i eat you whole because we are the monsters. daniel, the dream-eater and addict, is gorging himself on your story.

like, it's really fun how fontaine starts spiralling out the closer jack gets to him in the final arc of the game and returns to appropriating the image of family (the fake family in the beginning, the flawed father position later) to try and appeal to jack in some way but it's like. buddy. baby. you already took off your mask. anything you try and put on after this is going to come across as cheap and desperate. the magic is gone! and personally? Dude it is so interesting to me how different husk and angel are treated by their soul owner.

Also like, Husk has seen how Valentino treats Angel, he’s not only had a first hand experience but he has seen how fucked up angel seems when he gets back to the hotel after work.

But Angel has seen nothing but Alastor occasionally telling Husk what to do. Like he knows that Husk can relate to him and he thinks Alastor is freaky as fuck but he’s never seen to what extend Alastor has control of him.

Which we can’t blame him for obviously cause we didn’t even see how bad it was until episode 5. Alastor does treat Husk like a pet and i’m so curious why he left husk alive after killing almost every overlord he faced??

I really hope we get a scene of angel asking husk to go into more detail about what happened to him or maybe Alastor threatening husk in front of the others and everyone is kinda like “what the shit”

Like look at him. He’s absolutely terrified

Alastor clearly has a firmer hold on Husk then it seems and I feel like it’s gonna prevent husk from keeping up with the others

hear me out on this.

alastor doesn’t do normal kisses. instead of your typical lips on lips he places a small kiss on the tips of his fingers and gently presses them to your forehead, your cheeks, and if he’s feeling silly he might put them directly on your lips.

it’s a nice little thing with him, sometimes it even happens in public, but as adorable as the action may sound it sometimes has different uses. shutting you up whenever he feels like it, he presses his fingers a little fiercer into your lips to get the message across.

you can also do it to him too, not too often though. he likes his personal space. even if he constantly violates your own, it shouldn’t really surprise anyone that he’s a hypocrite.

sometimes he lets you press your kissed fingertips on his face and sometimes he snatches your hand before you can touch him and puts your hand to his lips while staring into your soul.
