You lower your eyes, trying to judge if he was telling the truth. You couldn't think of what he could be thinking! He was fine before you went to hang out with Gorou..

You give a soft smile, moving to sit next to him and hold his hand in your own. He was simply jealous. Nothing wrong with that, and you wanted to make sure he didn't carry that feeling.

The two of you bask in the tranquil air, not daring to say a word. Maybe, just maybe, he would have to write a beautiful haikuu about this exact moment later.

You shoot a confused look and turn the opposite direction. There, you see your boyfriend with a glare gracing his face. The two of you make eye contact and you make your way to him.

You cross your arms. "You didn't need to scare him away, Scara."

"I actually did. You're welcome." He responds, turning and walking back to your shared room.

You quickly catch up to Scaramouche, not saying anymore on his stunt from earlier. It was normal behaviour from him. There wasn't much you could do to change it.

It was honestly heart warming. He was only being protective and loving in his own way.

Scaramouche on the other hand, is relieved you weren't too mad about what he did. He only wanted you to be his and his only. He just needs to make sure Ajax doesn't overstep.

He seemed slightly surprised at your sudden presence. But he relaxed soon after. "I was looking for you. I wanted.. to make sure you returned safe."

You smile. "Aether always makes sure I get home to you." You respond, sitting next to your lover.

"Yeah.. Aether.. you two seem close." He points out with gritted teeth. You raise an eyebrow at his behaviour. You had never seen Xiao so.. jealous.

"Xiao, there's no reason to be jealous, love." You assure, holding his hand. "Aether is just a friend. You know that."

The rest of the night consists of Xiao denying him ever being jealous. You only pretend to agree and spend the night safe in the comfort of your shared room.
