First Dance.

A/n: AHHH I was at a wedding recently and I was reminded of these Minnie in a bride dress pics like she's so gorg. LEMME JUST CLEAR SOMETHING UP: I did not mean to disrespect her thai nationality as in I really don't know how thai weddings work so I wrote it like weddings in my country so please have understanding that this doesn't have to be real. now enjoy readingg^^

“And now !! Let’s let our newlyweds finally dance their first dance!!”

Yuqi announced to the guests as you brought Minnie closer to you, grabbing her waist as she grabbed your shoulder. This was the night of your— no, yours and Nicha’s life, your lifelong love that you promised to just her on this day.  At least more than 150 people came to your wedding, family, friends, acquaintances, other idols and guests, because no matter how long they knew you or Minnie, they came to support your lovable marriage. Soft music started playing and you started your first dance, the song being written by Minnie itself, Dahlia. It was a surprise from the members of (G)I-DLE, a surprise made for just the two of you. 

“너무 아름다, 그저 널 눈으로 바라만 봐도 반하네” 

You swayed with Minnie so gracefully, being lost in her dark round eyes. She looked at you like you were made out of sugar, like you were the most fragile thing on this earth, she loved you so deeply. “You’re so gorgeous today.” you complimented as you checked out her whole figure. The dress she was wearing was sleeveless with a high neckline and also a bridal veil on her head which was out of sheer and see through lace fabric. 

“스쳐 지나가도 달콤한 향기에 더 빠져버리도록 so fascinated”

“You look amazing as well, my wife.” She cheeks out a cute smile on her lips, calling you a nickname she will call you everyday from now on. Wake you up with the sound of her calling you her wife, anywhere she goes she’ll call you those 2 simple words that would make your heart beat in an instant. When you think about it, if someone told you 10 years ago you would end up marrying her you would say they’re joking, but it’s just as real as that. 

“화려함 속에 가려진 활짝 핀 미소 뒤에 감춰둔 네 모습은 보이는 것처럼 예쁠까?”

While enjoying each other’s presence, you twirled Minnie around as the low-lying fog became so thick it covered both of your feet, while the sparkling lights in various light colors lit just you and Minnie. Those were the effects that made your first dance even more magical. You could hear the cheering of your guests or see them record your dance, but that didn’t matter right now. As it was Minnie’s turn to twirl you around, you spinned as you took Minnie’s hand tightly, confusing her for a second.

“믿지 마요, dahlia, 위험해요, darling 나 혼자 간직한 채로 널 보고 싶어”

Right before the first chorus, you spun Minnie around again and gently brought her closer with your hand on her back for support. In a smooth motion, you dipped her backward and leaned in to steal an unexpected kiss, the crowd cheering in excitement at your sly move. As you pulled out from the kiss you gently lifted her up once more to continue the dance. 

“My love is dahlia, our love is dahlia, oh-oh”

“Where did that come from?!” Minnie exclaimed shockingly, clearly flustered from the sudden kiss. Her grip on your shoulder tightens. With a cheeky smile you get an answer to her question, “From my heart, love.” in response Minnie just playfully rolled her eyes as she placed her forehead on your shoulder. Swaying in a hug-like position, the song continued to play. 

“너란 꽃에 취해 버린 내게 No matter what they say, I'll choose to love you anyway, oh-oh”

“'Cause you're my dahlia” Minnie hummed the lyrics in your ear with the song, making you smile widely, while a pinky soft blush creeped onto your cheeks. “I love you, Y/n, so much.” She whispered once more, “I love you too Min.” responding, you took her hand again and twirled her, making her dress spin gracefully.

As the song went on, you and Minnie’s dance felt like eternity. Eternity that opened the doors to your lifelong marriage and new experiences both of you will go through. With Minnie, you were never afraid, ‘cause even if the days were sorrowful, she always stayed with you. Minnie always thought of you as her soulmate and she knew it the day she met you. When the song reached its final notes, you both slowed your movements, cherishing the last moments of your first dance as a married couple. The guests' applause echoed around you, but your focus remained only on her.

Pulling Minnie closer to you, you whispered in her ear. “You don’t know how happy I am right now.”

Minnie smiled, her eyes shimmering with tears of joy. “I can't wait to spend every moment with you, Y/n.” Hand in hand, you walked off the dance floor, greeted by the warm embraces and congratulations of your friends and family.

The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and joyful celebrations. Her members were the wildest the earth has ever seen, it almost felt like it was them getting married and not you and Minnie. They couldn’t help themselves to get lost in the alcohol, especially Shuhua and Yuqi who literally stole the dance floor while becoming drunk. Also how Miyeon made sure everyone had a great time, exchanging small chats while moving from group to group. Soyeon who literally kicked out the arranged DJ just so that she can play better songs for the night and Soojin who got touchy while dancing with Shuhua on the dance floor. 

The whole night was just—perfect.

Despite the loud music and celebrations, you and Minnie found moments to steal away together. Each time you looked at her, it felt like time stood still, the chaos around you faded into a blurred background and the way she smiled at you, her eyes filled with pure joy, was all the reassurance you needed that this night was as perfect for her as it was for you. While dancing together once again, you looked deeply into her eyes, “I’ll love you till the day that I die, Min.” Your famous nickname for her slipped of your lips as you bought your hand up to your face and kissed her knuckles. “And I’ll let you love me like I love you, love.” she also exhaled out, mesmerized by your beauty, she kissed your cheek while swaying with you. “Till the day that I die, I’m forever yours, Y/n”
