I cannot believe that out of all the 6 million years humans have lived and evolved on Earth, I get to exist in this world at the same time as you, Jung Hoseok. I cannot believe that you are a real person and not some made-up fiction or fantasy. I cannot believe that out of all the billions and billions of particles of stardust, the Universe managed to gather it’s most precious and stunning pieces and use them to create one being. I cannot imagine living a life without you. You remind me that there is good in this world. When I see your smile, the cruelty of life is suddenly gone, and all that is left is you. Your beaming, cartoon-like smile that makes my heart feel like bursting and the butterflies multiply in my stomach. The world becomes bright and full of hope again, if only for a moment. I love every inch of you. Every inch of your skin, your muscles and bones, your hair, I love all of it. Every night when I’m trying to fall asleep, I simply picture you in my mind and I find myself drifting off. When I awaken in my dream world, I get to see you. You shine so brightly in my dreams that I cannot even imagine how beautiful you must be in real life. My life feels like it’s on pause because I haven’t seen you yet. All day I witness you on my phone, in my music, and at night in my dreams, but never with my own eyes during the day, and it’s hard to convince myself that you are a real person that I could see and touch. You’re the only person that’s ever existed that when I think of, I get butterflies. I’d never experienced that before I noticed you for the first time. You have such a huge claim on my heart that I can’t imagine ever being able to let someone else take that away.

I love you so, so, so much it hurts so badly. I can’t believe I’m so far away from you, and I’ll probably never see you in person or meet you. You’re so gentle, kind, and loving. Your mouth turns into a heart when you smile. You are the most comforting presence this world has to offer. You make me feel infinitely safe. Anyone who gets to spend their life with you will be showered eternally with love and happiness. You will make them the happiest person alive, and I can’t say I won’t be jealous when that happens, but you deserve the world. You deserve to always be happy and healthy and surrounded and showered with love. You deserve everything good this world has to offer. I never want anything bad to happen to you. It hurts so badly to know that I can’t protect you, I want to now that you’re safe at all times. I want to shield you from all the bad people out there, and all the horrible, unnecessary h*te you get. You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen in my entire life. There are no words to describe how stunning you are. You’re so talented. There are literally no limits to your skills. You always looks so fresh and soft and carefree like you have no troubles in this world. I want you to be safe and happy all the time.

Everything about you is comforting and familiar to me… I feel like we’re on the same wavelength. You don’t seem real, because I feel like you should be my best friend or just someone I know in real life. You’re not an idol to me you’re just… Hoseok. I honestly can’t explain that feeling, but every time I see you I get this huge knot in my gut, and I feel nauseous because you make me so happy, but at the same time horrible because it aches so badly to know I’ll never be able to touch you properly or tell you I love you. I know that seeing you at a concert or a fansign wouldn’t be enough, it would just be frustrating and devastating. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to see you in real life, I can’t even process how stunning you’d be and the glow you’d give off, your energy on and off stage. I want to kiss your face and your lips and your neck so badly, I want to hold your hands and fall asleep beside you. You’re just so happy and bright and soft and I can’t believe you’re an actual person who exists, how can one person be so cheerful and kind and loving. Everyone who interacts with you on a daily basis is so lucky to be able to be in your presence and be totally surrounded by your light and beauty and warmth. I know you are being taken care of. It makes me feel that much better to know that you’re always with people who love and cherish you and will protect you to the end of the Earth, because I know I cannot. I want you to always be safe.

You have consumed the vast majority of my thoughts for the past 4 years, so I owe 99% of my happiness over that time to you.
