Dongyoon knew about the first time this had been held, his mother had scolded him for not auditioning, but he knew he would make a fool out of himself if he auditioned the first time trc’s triple threat challenge was held. This time? He knew that he definitely didn’t master all the skills. He had been taking singing lessons as a kid, but they hadn’t helped much, he wasn’t capable of hitting any high note at all. Rapping he had only practiced by himself, but he was still definitely more confident in rapping than singing, but his strongest skill out of the three were dancing and not even that was he particularly any good at. So to just why he had decided to audition had confused him at first, but it didn’t take him long to realize that it was because he was starting to become desperate to get signed, he was starting to get old, and kids younger than him had much more talent than him, it was tearing him apart, how he trained for so long without any success.

He came four hours before the line to sign up was opened, he knew there was a limited amount of people who could come, and he hadn’t trained for weeks just to be told that he was too late. He had wondered, he had wondered very much how he could pass this audition, at last he had realized that passing/winning was close to impossible, so instead he had chose to something else, he had decided to make sure that the people watching him would never forget him, he would capture them by showing a mix of his own skills with the skills they were looking for.

The moment he heard his name, he hurried up to the stage, showing up with not only a microphone in his hand but also something else in the other hand. He had appeared in a simple white t-shirt, which he had bought for almost nothing, and a pair of black leggings that were perhaps too tight, it seemed that he hadn’t thought much about what he was going to wear. He looked at the judges before sending them a smile, he knew for sure that he was hot and that that was one of his advantages, and he would use his advantage of being handsome as much as he could. Confidence he was filled with, but Dongyoon has always been like that, confident in whatever he does, and then finally he takes the microphone to his mouth and starts talking  “hello my name is Jang Dongyoon” and then a deep bow before he continued to talk “I’ll be sure to show you a performance that you’ll never forget”, and then the microphone was laid down and the other thing in his hand came up to his chin; a violin.

Dongyoon has been playing the violin since he was six, and he’s more confident in the violin than he is in most things (which says a lot), it hadn’t taken him long to decide what he was going to play on the violin, he was going to play the great number Fairytale by Alexander Rybak. But it was less than forty seconds he played before he walked away and then came back. He easily ripped the white t-shirt he was wearing, simple to reveal his abs which he had worked hard for and… a white crop top . The microphone was picked up and the music started to play. Dongyoon didn’t know much about popular music, and he has asked his sister for which girl groups were popular, she had answered AOA and so their most recent song had become his choice of song. He sang the first part without dancing, he had decided to let everyone enjoy the sight first, Dongyoon rarely ever shows his abs, he works out multiple days a week to keep them, but only to let himself see them, this time finally letting someone else see them.

Thereafter the chorus came, and he had taken good time to learn the moves while singing, his singing wasn’t particular good, but the singing in the chorus luckily for Dongyoon didn’t need too much skills. And even if his singing wasn’t the best, he hoped that his slightly better dancing would make up for it. He hadn’t tried to make the song the least more manly, normally Dongyoon hates doing anything ‘feminine’ but currently he just wanted to capture the song, and let the judges enjoy him, therefore he danced the song as if he was a female, as if it was his.

His favorite part then came, not that it was much easier than the other parts, but because he finally got to rap, something he enjoyed. Also, while learning the dance he had found himself to be enjoying watching Jimin the most, she had become his favorite, and he had studied her moves very closely to do exactly the same as her. Rapping while dancing was slightly hard, but the moves weren’t too hard, and he was at last capable of doing it.

At last he had decided to take the pre-chorus with him, even if he was tired after rapping and dancing, he managed to keep his voice somewhat stable, the moves were easier, and he had found himself to master them.

And as the song ends, he looks at the judges, tries to show his sexy side, for a fact he knows that if he tried then there would be a big chance that he could become a model, and that talent he uses now.
