The tiny café was on a quiet street, its outdoor tables shaded by a canopy of blooming wisteria. You sat across from Minghao, the soft clink of your teacups filling the comfortable silence.

"love, you've been staring at the macaron for the past few minutes," he teased, lips curving into a playful smile. "it's too pretty to be eaten," you replied, holding the pastel-colored treat in your hand. "Just look at it! It's a work of art!"

Minghao leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand, admiring you. "I bet it tastes even better," you narrowed your eyes, eyeing him playfully. "You're just saying that because you want it," you pouted slightly, putting down the macaron.

"Maybe," his grin widened, the kind that made your heart feel warm. Laughing, you broke the macaron in half and placed a piece in his place. "Fine, but only because I'm such a generous person," he accepted the macaron with an exaggerated bow of gratitude before taking a bite.

"mmm, you're right. It's a masterpiece. Sweet like you too," you said, savoring the taste of the pastel macaron.

You rolled your eyes playfully, but a smile was plastered all over your face. The warmth of this cozy afternoon sun, the floral scent of the beautiful wisteria scattered everywhere, and the sound of minghao's soft giggles made everything feel perfect. It felt as if time had stopped at this exact moment, letting the two of you cherish this precious moment.

"I like this," he spoke again, his tone was softer this time as he held the mug, feeling the warmth seep into his palms, a quiet comfort against the cool air around him.

"Like what?"

“This,” he spoke gently, gesturing between the two of you as he gazed into the tea swirling in his mug, looking at his own reflection that was rippling softly on the surface of the tea. "Spending time with you. It feels...nice"

You glanced away, trying to hide the smile tugging at the corner of your lips. You could feel your cheeks getting warmer. He was right, it felt nice. No cameras shoving in your faces, no paparazzi tailing you or minghao, it's just the two of you, in this quiet café.

"you're surprisingly sweet today," you teased him with a light smile spread across your face. He leaned back in his chair, arms crossed with a teasing look in his eyes. "Don't get used to it. I have a reputation i need to maintain, you know," he replied, sticking his tongue out playfully.

You rolled your eyes, laughing. "Too late, then," you teased, finally taking a bite of your macaron. Minghao laughed, the sound was light and genuine. You stared at his face, you knew in front of you was the person you wish to spend your last days with. Your heart warmed at the sight of him, so carefree in front of you.

Time didn't matter to you at all, all that matters was him, sitting across you with a wide smile on his face. That right there, was something you wish to see everyday, him with a smile.

“good morning too, haobao,” hearing the nickname he taught her just for fun now stuck as his nickname blooms thousands of flowers in his heart. she snuggled her face on his chest, seeking for his warmth even though the sun heats the room enough.

“did you sleep well?” minghao stroked her silky hair, giving her as much love as possible. hearing a breathy ‘hm’ from her already enough to answer his question. peeking on his chest and witnessing her gorgeous orbs looking at him, probably admiring him as well.

he can't help but to crack a small smile before leaning closer to her, pecking her tiny nose. as his lips travel down on hers, she holds him back.

“i haven't brushed my teeth, hao” she frowned. minghao lifts his right eyebrow, a bit puzzled by her statement that sounds more like an excuse.

“who cares?” he smooches her lips, before actually turning it into a love appreciation session. her fingers find their way to his hair, gliding through as a comfort. minghao placed his hand palm on y/n’s cheeks, stroking it as gently as he could.

in that perfect moment, they lay together, savoring the tranquility and the unspoken promise of a day filled with love and togetherness.

The wind carried a scent of fallen leaves as you walked with your hands in the pocket of your coat. The park was filled with autumn colors, each step made a soft crunch from the fallen leaves. The gust of wind sent leaves swirling beside you, making you spin around in laughter.

“You look like you belong in a painting,” behind you was the love of your life, watching you spin around. You turned at the voice, finding him with that small, knowing smile. His scarf was wrapped loosely around his neck, dark hair ruffled by the breeze. He took a step closer to you, reaching out to tuck a small strand of hair behind your ear. 

“Do I?” you teased, tilting your head just enough to let it rest in the warmth of his palm. He hummed as he rubbed small circles onto your cheek with his thumb. You giggled and took his hand, intertwining them together as you continued to walk down the path covered with leaves. The air was chilly but the warmth radiating from his palm was enough to chase away the cold.

Soon enough, the two of you reached a wooden bridge with a view of the river. Its surface covered with autumn leaves. You leaned against the wooden railing, sighing softly. “oh, I just love this season,” you murmured, smelling the scent of your favorite season. You could hear him stepping closer, arms slipping around your waist as he stood beside you.

“I know, baby,” a comfortable silence settled in as you watched the sun setting, painting the sky in different hues of orange with a hint of pink. However, he wasn’t watching the sunset like you were. His eyes were fixated on you with a soft smile plastered on his face. 

The colors of the sky that reflected on your skin made you glow in a way that felt ethereal. At that moment, he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you.
