NU'EST on Idol Room Ep. 30

This week is NU'EST's week. The guys are promoting their new song Help Me on Idol Room.The fashion is on point, always fun to see when the group matches either brand or colors. Way to go!

February 13, 2013 NU’EST released their second EP: Hello

NU’EST (뉴이스트) is a five-member boy group under Pledis Entertainment. They debuted in 2012 with “Face” and followed that song with “Action”, both more aggressive songs. Seeing as “Hello” was quite a divergence from their original sound, it was not well received by fans and people were disappointed that they had not continued with their debut concept. 

Flash forward to 2017, four members of the group had joined the survival show, Produce 101. Following three of the members not making the show’s final cut, the song had a resurgence on the charts, even ranking high on Inkigayo. It was nicknamed “Zombie-seyo” (a mix of the word zombie and the Korean title of the song 여보세요) because it charted multiple times four years after it’s release.

Shortly after the survival show, the remaining four members released another version of the song as a gift to fans, as well as going on music shows to perform it.

My Lightstick

This is My Favorite Lightsticks

I only buy lightstick if I tought that lightstick is pretty (my criteria)

I'll let you know why I love this lightstick (the order is random)

Carat Bong (Seventeen Lightstick)

I love the color. It's have diamond inside the dome with seventeen logo on top of it and can be replace with diamonds from mini carat keyring. The dome have glitter on it and it looks pretty when we switch it on. If we press the button 1x lightstick it will glow and if we press on the button one again (2x) it will blink and if we press the button 3x it will blink but faster than if we press it 2x. This lightstick is quite heavy.

I like the shape. It's looks like heart (if we see it from top). It's really light. I'm not really like the color. And we don't need to connect it to bluetooth to change the colors we just need to press the button (it have 5 or 6 different colors, I forget about it).

Glass Marble Lightstick or Yugubong (Gfriend Lightstick)

This actually on my wishlist for quite long time. And I finally bought it before they release new ones. I like this lightstick because it's looks like snow globe. It has glitter and liquid inside that's make this lightstick heavy. If we press the button 1x it will glow and if we press the button again (2x) it will blink.

Box review

For the box, I like Seventeen and Nu'est W ones because they're thick. Gfriend box is made from plastic, ok maybe it looks pretty but for safety I really don't like it (mine already got a lot of damages and it just from the shipping). If I have to choose my favorite box it's Nu'est W. They have like foam inside, so the lightstick is safe and doesn't move around. Seventeen box is good but instead of foam the used paper (mine is already torn, so I need to add some tissue to make the lightstick doesn't move around.

Seventeen and Nu'est W ones only come with strap. Seventeen have white strap and Nu'est W have 2 straps (the color is their official color). Gfriend come with white strap and member photocards.

Actually I'm thinking to buy Nu'est official lightstick but I'm not really like the design (I'm also Nu'est fan that's why I'm contemplating to buy their lightstick). And maybe I'll buy Gfriend lightstick ver 2.

CONGRATULATIONS Nu’est!!!

After 7 years they finally got their first win on the 315th episode of Show Champion.

Finally they’ve won as a complete group. I’m so proud of Nu’est. They’ve overcome so much and have steadfastly held faith that their hard work would be worth it in the end. They worked so hard while they were in their own places and now are reunited and achieving their dreams together. I’m so happy to see them gain recognition & success. It’s only up from here.

This comeback has been memorable. We’ve accomplished quite a lot. First we got FACE to 100M, YT subscribers to 1M, reaches #1 on multiple iTunes around the world, sold 220k+ albums first week, reached no.8 on billboard world albums chart, got 10M views in 9 days, reached a new peak of no.13 on billboard social 50 chart & tonight we’re getting our first ot5 reality show. Let’s keep going together with Nu’est in the future.
