前回・前々回の投稿から続きます･･

行きとは違う道で撮りながら帰ろうと、信楽川沿いの国道を南下。道から急流が見えたので車を降りて撮影。後から調べたら大滝という名が付けられたスポットでした。ここもおそらく普段より水嵩が増して、弾ける川面からマイナスイオンがどばどばと出ている雰囲気であり��した。

少し晴れ間も出てきて、気温がぐっと上がります。

Tateshina-Otaki Falls: Exploring the Emerald Waters Before Autumn’s Arrival・秋の前に訪れた、エメラルド色の蓼科大滝

Captured just before autumn’s colors emerge, Tateshina-Otaki Falls showcases its pristine beauty in the calm of late summer. The emerald waters beneath the falls reflect the surrounding lush greenery, forming a tranquil oasis for me. Moss-covered stones, glistening with mist from the waterfall, create a natural amphitheater where moss quietly thrives. The serene pool and the vibrant forest trail leading to the falls encouraged me to pause and immerse myself in the landscape.

The falls, standing at 25 meters tall, are nestled in the Tateshina-Genserin Primeval Forest, easily accessible from Pool Daira Parking Lot. Walking through the ancient forest, with its gnarled trees and mossy riverbanks, heightened my sense of peace and connection with nature. This lesser-known waterfall is a great place to visit for photographers seeking solitude off the beaten path before autumn’s peak where it will likely become a bit crowded.

‘22.11.27 滝坂の道にて

年明けましたが、秋の写真に逆戻りｗ

この日は久しぶりに滝坂の道へ。紅葉も早い木と遅い木が混在していて、盛秋と晩秋、両方の風景を見ることができました。寝仏や朝日観音を含め、何度も撮ったことある場所もまたカメラに収めつつ、ゆっくりと石畳の道を歩きます。

坂を上って行くとそのうち道が平坦になってくるのですが、この辺りでは午前の光が狭い谷の反対側に当たって、まだ陽の届かない小川の水面にリフレクションします。この景色もここを歩く時の楽しみなんです。

Escaping the relentless heat of the Tokyo metropolis, a visit to Tateshina-Otaki Falls was a breath of fresh air.

Despite the challenges of capturing the scene—with its chaotic mix of sharp angles, light and shadows—I was reminded to stop overanalyzing and embrace the moment.

Sitting by the water’s edge with my border collie, Dale-chan, I let the sound of crashing water, rustling leaves, and distant bird calls wash away the noise in my mind.

It was a reminder that nature offers not just survival, but true peace and healing. 🌿
