Married at last!!

This is a silly little comic I drew recently for a wedding-themed event my friend @ganen-cheese and I did together! While our pieces are technically unrelated, I hope everyone will go check out their beautiful comic which is about WX's first morning as husbands! I say this, but honestly I expect everyone has already seen their comic first haha! But no seriously, Cheese's comic is really so sweet and so full of love and I feel it makes a really good followup to this one (even though technically unrelated!!) so I want everyone who reads my silly little comic to go read theirs too! ❤️ (The wedding outfits I've drawn here are based on another one of Cheese's illustrations which you can see here! My eyes were blessed with such beautiful reference while drawing HAHA.)

I wanted to see celebrity Wei Ying advertising alcohol in a modern AU. I plan to draw a WangXian comic based on this haha - actually it was in the works since February, but I will one day finish it and post it! For now please accept Wei Ying's cup.

I drew some wedding-themed profile pictures to match with my friend @ganen-cheese recently! We drew one set in traditional red and one set in modern white of WX blowing kisses at each other! Please see Cheese's half here where they've drawn a super cute WWX in red and a super handsome LWJ in white to match my set!!😘❤️ (The poses for these are based off of the /dote emote in FF14 for male Viera and male Lalafel respectively!)

This is one of the stuff I was talking about hehe. I drew matching wedding-themed profile pictures with @akakumoeteru ! Left is modern white theme, and right is traditional red. Kura has the matching side for each!!! They are blowing kisses at each other!

Please see Kura's half with traditional red Lan Wangji who is SO SO HANDSOME (TAT )and modern white Wei Wuxian who is the cutest babu (WITH VEIL!).

The poses are based on FF14 emotes hehe. We play FF14 together with characters based on WangXian and ANYWAY that's how it went down HAHA.

It’s… strange. I type Chinese names in pinyin since I type in English most of the time, but the more pinyin I type the more I forget about the meaning of the name

Before I switched to Mandarin subtitles, I didn’t know which hanzi Zhongli’s name uses so I thought his name was written as 重礼 (roughly respectful etiquette or grand/solemn ceremony depending on context) and thought he was a very devoted mortal to some sort of deity

So when I learned it’s actually 钟离 and that he’s a god, it suddenly became even more sad… (the etymology section of his lore page on the wiki discusses allusions in his name), because though I couldn’t quite tell exactly what his name alluded to, I recognize 钟 that meant bell (along with some other things) and 离 is departure.

(Same 离 character as 归离原, the Chinese name for Guili Plains. Of course, making it “Field of Returning and Departure”)

Rita: Violated Labour Law. Overworked themself and found more frequently saying and doing unintelligible things like "Moffun is here". In a forced timeout to rest, Rita chose to serve time in prsion.
