While it is likely Suchomimus, it lacks fluting typically seen in baryonychine teeth. Depending on the phylogenetic position of the dubious Cristatusaurus lapparenti, it may also potentially belong to this lesser known species. It is also possible it belongs to an undescribed spinosaurine.

A partial dinosaur tooth of an indeterminate baryonychine spinosaurid, likely a Ceratosuchops inferodios or Riparovenator milnerae from the Wessex Formation in the Isle of Wight, England. The tooth lacks fluting typically seen in baryonychine teeth, though some positional tooth morphologies that lack fluting have been described from Baryonyx.
