#3. Golden Memories

It's the global strike week for Palestine(21 Jan - 28 Jan), so by participating in this global strike, I drew the Golden Kamuy character, Asirpa, who is indigenous, an Ainu, standing with Palestine.

The first pic is her doing the Handala pose. I am not Japanese, neither live in Japan, but it is interesting to see Japanese artists drawing characters doing the Handala pose with the #WithHandala hashtag. I wanna see Asirpa doing the pose. It fits her so much.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ smiles slightly, assured and knowing, that everything will be alright.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ sits down comfortably, ready to take care of few adults as if They were little birds, ready to try and fly again soon.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ’s innocents takes everyone back to the better days, even when Their own childhood was not that nice.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ starts suddenly running away, seeing a monstrous snake while some of us laugh, yet not for long.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ tries to look strong, with her short height.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ rolls on her back, after eating the weirdest yet surprisingly wonderful Ainu dish.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ stares deeply into the forest, her boots stomping on the crunchy snow and says “This is my home.”

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ, at the verge of tears, finally reunites with the man that swore to treat her to dried persimmons.

★ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 アシㇼパ remembers her father, proud.
