ㅤㅤㅤnothing good is ever said about the weaver siblings. the older, the boy, is said to have a temper that burns as hot as the sun, and the girl? the local kids avoid the quiet one like she has the plague. it's not their fault, not really. you see, their father, vince weaver, killed nine people. maybe even more than that. his name is but a whisper these days, echoed in the wind to remind children to obey the rules. to escape the shame and torment of such a family legacy, when finally free from the foster system, nathan moved onto the abandoned camp ground that situates on the outskirts of town, left to his family name by beloved grandparents. when stable enough, nathan appealed for custody of his younger sister. they keep to themselves, and avoid people as much as they can, but when killings start again that eerily mirror those of the woodpine butcher, the siblings are once more thrown into a life marred with death.

ㅤㅤㅤcasey still can't fathom a world in which lex freeman talks to her. yet, here they are. swallowing the lump in her throat, book is closed as eyes slowly drift to the bleachers in question. normally they're crowded - filled with people who don't particularly like the youngest weaver, and she'd rather avoid that as best she can.ㅤ❛❛ㅤthe view of the field is, uhm - well, it's actually pretty good from here, so...ㅤ❜❜ㅤgaze is pulled back to the athlete, she can't help but wonder why she would even want her there.ㅤ❛❛ㅤgo foxes!ㅤ❜❜ㅤshe adds, awkwardly raising a fist in an attempted salute. school spirit.

ㅤㅤㅤin a scream verse, specifically scream vi, casey is a college freshman & nathan is a shop assistant in a nearby hardware store. only one of them could afford to go to college, and nathan poured all of his earnings, savings & the little amount he had inherited from their grandparents into ensuring that it would be casey who gained further education.

ㅤㅤㅤcasey is a high school junior. while she doesn't attend as often as she should, she is an average student, though she struggles the most in mathematics to the point of failing the class. she's as far from popular as one can get, and spends her breaks hiding in the library, sketching in an art class or reading on the hill behind the school's football field. a lot of nathan's advice to try and make friends is ignored.

ㅤㅤㅤnathan earns money as a handyman. he is very talented with his hands and can repair almost anything that's put in front of him. he doesn't get business often, mostly due to the stigma attached to his name, but when he does there are rarely complaints. when he's not working, he puts his skills to use by restoring the camp ground that he and casey reside in.
