The Rise of Skywalker Teaser Trailer Analysis
First, I’d like to pat myself on the back for correctly guessing how the panel was going to go down, heh heh.  Just as a note, the “villains” didn’t appear at SWCA in 2015.  They were introduced at SDCC 2015 instead.  I think this could mean that we’ll see the “baddies” of TROS at a later con like SDCC 2019 or (more likely) D23 in August:  Adam Driver, Domnhall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, and Keri Russell, who I swear to God is playing a bounty hunter.
That “dorm room” poster and the character key leak from a few weeks ago were as I suspected 100% legit.
I had no idea though what to expect from the trailer itself.  I was and still am SHOOK.  OH MY GOD.  Of all the teaser trailers I’ve seen from Star Wars over the past 42 years, that one was the best.  I was shocked, I was surprised, and I freakin’ can’t wait.
Nobody got the title correct, aside from a rumor that said it was going to be called “Skywalkers,” like a silly 1980s spinoff sitcom.  Close but no cigar.  But really it’s perfect.
I’m going to tell my Reylos right now don’t listen to the C-students.  You know who the A-students are, the ones who have gotten everything right since 2016.  Right now the internet is awash with the usual super nerd dude crowd, the antis, the ReySkys and so forth with their lame or convoluted theories.  Teaser trailers often aren’t literally as they appear but too many people haven’t figured that out.
On a side note, Clayton Sandell, ABC news reporter and Star Wars fan, posted on his Twitter about an interview the cast that had appeared at SWCC did with Paula Faris that will air on Good Morning America this Monday.  1) Daisy said she had relayed to Abrams her thoughts on Reylo and it’s explored in “MUCH greater depth” and 2) while Abrams isn’t going to change the parentage reveal in TLJ, there is “more to the story.”  I suspected as much but fear not, I do NOT think this means Rey is Kylo’s sister or cousin.
The rest of this is observation from the trailer itself and speculation.  I do NOT know the plot.
In the opening shot, it might appear that Krazy Kylo is trying to run over our poor heroine with his Silencer.  But as many Reylos believe, I don’t think this is the case.  Notice you DON’T see Kylo’s/Ben’s face.  Rey shows no fear, but anticipation and determination.  Either Daddy is training Rey or she’s hitching a ride to go with him and kick some “a.”
The shot of Kylo punching someone in the gut while holding a lightsaber (typical) and NOT using his helmet indicates to me that perhaps this is a point where he has switched sides with a FO faction that has broken away.  The guy Kylo knocks down is coming at him.  It’s a defensive move, not the kind of kill-the-villagers or Rebels-where-they-stand stuff he’d been doing before.  Hmm.
Yes, that’s the remains of the Death Star our friends are looking at.  Is it Death Star one and it’s Yavin or is this the remains of Death Star II on Endor?  Will there be Ewoks???
I think those are Leia’s hands touching the medal she gave Han.  It’s interesting that Abrams said that they wrote scenes around the footage of her that they had.  It’s interesting how they managed to have Rey in her new outfit hug Leia like that; now that’s some movie magic.  I am a little concerned about Rey being teary-eyed, but Rey would cry at a YouTube video of cute kittens and puppies.
As for Luke’s monologue, this may or may not end up in the film as is and I suspect a snippet was actually cribbed from TLJ.  But I think 1) Luke is not just addressing Rey.  He is likely talking to Ben OR to both Ben and Rey, like a little pep talk and 2) I think we will see Luke doing this pep talk WITH OTHER FORCE GHOSTS.  That’s right, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and maybe Qui-Gon.  You never know, we might even see the muggles in the Skywalker family tree (Padme?  Han???).  It might come down to just Ben and Rey to save the galaxy with their friends, but Luke is reassuring them they will not be alone in spirit.
Now for the line cribbed from TLJ...yes, he’s talking about Ben BUT it also implicates the trailer’s SHOCKING ending.  I knew that laugh the second I heard it.
Sheev’s.  Back.  And if you didn’t get it, Ian McDiarmid himself came out onstage at Celebration afterward.
Remember, if Shmi Skywalker is the matriarch of this clan, Darth Sidious was implicated in ROTS as the one who may have manipulated the midichlorians to conceive Anakin in the first place.  And it’s possible he may have done it to OTHER people and (hold on) Rey might be descended from one of his other guinea pigs.  And it’s possible that in some shape or way, Palpatine used that magic power to “cheat death” and has been causing #@$! all of these years.  He may have trained Snoke and ordered him to start messing with Ben in utero as well as mess with Luke, Leia, etc..  What if Ben and Rey find all of this out and it’s only together they can finally take out the trash, because it’s what the Force wants?  (In my headcanon, the Force can even use Dark Siders like Sidious or Snoke to do its will.)
As for the title Rise of Skywalker, it’s really funny how so many fans forgot KYLO IS A SKYWALKER.  This title screams Redemption without calling the movie “The Redemption Of Leia’s Dumbass Son” (credit The Farce Awakens). Several Reylos noticed that Kylo’s Theme plays as the title comes onscreen and it goes up in key, ending on hopeful notes.  This was confirmed by our resident professional composer Christy Carew.  There’s also this, but I’d take it with a grain of salt since John Williams hasn’t started composing yet.
Not only will he save himself, he will redeem his lineage.  He will, as he said in TFA, finish what Anakin started.  And Rey will be a Skywalker once Ben puts a ring on it and she has his babies.

For the week of 17 June 2019
Quick Bits:
A Walk Through Hell #11 gives us a bit more insight into Shaw’s childhood and further fallout from the investigation, even as things seem to get nastier in the hell they’ve found themselves in. The fields of bones from Goran Sudžuka and Ive Svorcina are horrifying.

Age of X-Man: NextGen #5 is a bit of a gut punch for a final issue in this series. Some great art by Lucas Werneck and Jason Keith, though.
| Published by Marvel
Tumblr media
Aquaman #49 concludes the “Mother Shark” two-parter as Arthur gets answers on who he is and how he died. This is a huge one. Kelly Sue DeConnick, Viktor Bogdanovic, Jonathan Glapion, Daniel Henriques, Ryan Winn, Sunny Gho, and Clayton Cowles do an incredible job with this story. Beautiful and heartbreaking.
| Published by DC Comics
Tumblr media
Assassin Nation #4 has the remaining assassins possibly figure out the entire plan as they take down another crime boss in this penultimate issue. Kyle Starks, Erica Henderson, and Deron Bennett have been delivering a highly entertaining series here with great art and a wicked sense of humour. Every book needs a Fuck Tarkington.

Barbarella/Dejah Thoris #4 is the end to what has been a great mini from Leah Williams,  Germán García, Addison Duke, and Crank! Very interesting use of time travel for this story.
| Published by Dynamite
Tumblr media
Batman #73 sees Tom King, Mikel Janín, Jordie Bellaire, and Clayton Cowles reveal as to just how demented Thomas Wayne is in part four of “The Fall and the Fallen”. His motivation is understandable, but this is insane.
| Published by DC Comics
Tumblr media
Black Badge #11 reveals a lot of the remaining secrets that we’ve guessed about previously as to what exactly is going on with the entire Black Badge organization. Maybe. I’m still expecting more twists from Matt Kindt, Tyler Jenkins, Hilary Jenkins, and Jim Campbell when the series ends next issue.
| Published by BOOM! Studios
Tumblr media
Captain America #11 sees Steve’s jailbreak from the Myrmidon in earnest, while Sharon and the Daughters of Liberty run the operation. Beautiful artwork from Adam Kubert and Matt Milla.

Tumblr media
Daredevil #7 reminds us that Matt Murdock carries more guilt than an entire Catholic archdiocese. There’s a very compelling depth and complexity that Chip Zdarsky is bringing to this story, moving us away from the typical superheroics.

Tumblr media
Elephantmen 2261: The Pentalion Job #2 enacts the heist of the pentalions in the second part of this story from Richard Starkings and Alex Medellin. Hip Flask raises some interesting questions as all of the Bond actors seem to meet their end.

Tumblr media
Excellence #2 is another excellent issue. Brandon Thomas, Khary Randolph, Emilio Lopez, and Deron Bennett are developing Spencer and his history, his family, and relation with the hierarchy of the Aegis in a very compelling way.

Tumblr media
Fairlady #3 is the first issue that doesn’t really end “clean”. It’s still a single issue story, but the mystery remains and isn’t tidied up by the end. It’s another murder mystery, with an adventurer impersonating a Conan analogue. Like the previous issues, this is a great story from Brian Schirmer, Claudia Balboni, Shari Chankhamma, and David Bowman.

Tumblr media
Faithless #3 continues to be very strange. Very, very strange. As Faith’s roommate is murdered by what seems like a wolf from her phone, her relationship with Poppy, and then she has sex with Poppy’s father. As I said, strange. I’m still not entirely sure what Brian Azzarello, Maria Llovet, and AndWorld Design are trying to do with this story.
| Published by BOOM! Studios
Tumblr media
Gideon Falls #14 begins playing with time along with the alternate realities as Burke lands in a reality “closer to the centre” and is given a purpose to find “the five”. Jeff Lemire, Andrea Sorrentino, Dave Stewart, and Steve Wands are doing some amazing work here.
| Published by Image
Tumblr media
Guardians of the Galaxy #6 concludes “The Final Gauntlet” from Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, David Curiel, and Cory Petit as the Guardians, all of the Guardians, take on Hela and the Black Order to try to prevent the resurrection of Thanos. It’s suitably epic.
| Published by Marvel
Tumblr media
Hit-Girl: Season 2 #5 kicks off the “Hong Kong” arc from Daniel Way, Goran Parlov, Giada Marchisio, and Clem Robins. It may well be the arc with the most narration so far, but it doesn’t detract from the usual over-the-top violence and action in the start of this story of Mindy trying to take down the Liu Triad, with rather humorous results, it rather enhances it with some nice introspection.

Tumblr media
Justice League #26 is part one of “Apex Predator” from James Tynion IV, Javier Fernandez, Hi-Fi, and Tom Napolitano. The Justice League are pitching to the stars in order to stem the tide of Perpetua’s plans and the impending Doom brought on by the “Year of the Villain”. But everyone’s wondering if it’s just shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.
| Published by DC Comics
Tumblr media
Last Stop on the Red Line #2 is still very strange. Paul Maybury, Sam Lotfi, John Rauch, and Adam Pruett are crafting an intriguing murder mystery here as Torres and her new partner continue to try to solve the crimes on the subways, but it’s told through a very fluid, stylized way where we’re not sure what’s real and what’s just a character’s perception. It’s a very neat way to tell a story.
| Published by Dark Horse
Tumblr media
Little Bird #4 is maybe the most heartbreaking issue yet in this masterpiece from Darcy Van Poelgeest, Ian Bertram, Matt Hollingsworth, and Aditya Bidikar. There’s a lesson of survival, of children supplanting the parents, instilled here in the penultimate chapter as Little Bird and Gabriel have a bit of an understanding as siblings.

Middlewest #8 attempts to pick up the pieces after Abel’s outburst and near destruction of the travelling circus. Also, more of the sheer monster that his father is. Gorgeous artwork from Jorge Corona and Jean-Francois Beaulieu.

Miles Morales: Spider-Man #7 is a number of vignettes with Miles checking in with family and Bombshell before setting up the next arc. Wonderful use of guest artists with Ron Ackins & Dexter Vines, Alitha E. Martinez, and Vanesa Del Rey providing segments as well as regular artist Javier Garrón.

Outpost Zero #10 explains all of the cats. It also gives a timeframe for the colony and a lot more questions as to why the old ship structure and tunnels were just completely abandoned by the colonists. Wonderful designs by Alexandre Tefenkgi.

Tumblr media
Pearl #10 takes an interesting detour for a bit into “real life” as Pearl tries to hold down a “normal” job. Then we get back to the fallout of her chopping off Mr. Miike’s fingers. Absolutely stunning artwork from Michael Gaydos, with some very interesting layouts.
| Published by DC Comics / Jinxworld
Tumblr media
Psi-Lords #1 is another great debut for Valiant. Fred Van Lente, Renato Guedes, and Dave Sharpe update one of the few Valiant properties that haven’t been brought back yet, with a bunch of seemingly newly activated psiots awakening in some kind of “Aztec sex dungeon”. The story keeps you off-balance from the beginning, adding a nice bit of mystery to what’s going on. And the artwork from Guedes is excellent.
| Published by Valiant
Tumblr media
Rat Queens #16 begins the run by the new creative team of Ryan Ferrier, Priscilla Petraites, and Marco Lesko in earnest, following on the special. The Queens are essentially tearing themselves apart at this stage and nothing seems to be able to go right.
| Published by Image / Shadowline

Rumble #13 tackles the next Scourge Knight and Timah learns an interesting fact about the bundle of joy growing inside her. Great art as always from David Rubín and Dave Stewart.

Savage Sword of Conan #6 is a single issue story from Meredith Finch, Luke Ross, Nolan Woodard, and Travis Lanham. It’s a captivating tale of revenge and Conan fighting through some insurmountable odds. Great art from Ross and Woodard.
| Published by Marvel
Tumblr media
Usagi Yojimbo #1 begins a new era at IDW...in colour. Tom Luth joins Stan Sakai for the interiors in the first part of “Bunraku”. While it is a bit odd not to be black and white, this is still masterful storytelling, building on some traditional Japanese culture and providing an intriguing supernatural mystery.

Warlord of Mars Attacks #1 begins another property crossover mini-series from Dynamite, this time mixing John Carter with the Mars Attacks aliens, from Jeff Parker, Dean Kotz, Omi Remalante, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. Nice bits of humour.
| Published by Dynamite
Tumblr media
Wolverine: Infinity Watch #5 concludes this mini from Gerry Duggan, Andy MacDonald, Jordie Bellaire, and Cory Petit. It’s been a very entertaining follow-up to Infinity Wars, but it’s also served as a kind of weird clean-up to continuity that Marvel otherwise seems to have abandoned.

Arrow 7x13: Star City Slayer “Not-So-Live” Blog
Ugh. Another episode, another night where I had to work instead of being able to be home to watch Arrow.
Anywho, here we go!
Enjoy!
00:49 - "I am, once more, the Green Arrow."
Yay! Got our Oliver intros back!
3:20 - Horror movie villain this week, complete with a chilling opening.
Tumblr media
3:35 - Sorry, William, no pancakes for you. Cause you’re in trouble.
4:20 - As much as I love seeing Will be a sulky teenager, the look on Oliver's face as his son gets mad is so heartbreaking.
Tumblr media
5:16 - So do we know if Roy will be in the present time at all this season? Or will it only be in the flashforwards?
Also, I will never get tired of William being his techy nerd self.
6:10 - Even though it's not the Arrow Cave anymore after Diaz blew it up, the Arrow Cave is getting a lot of scenes this season.
7:25 - I am so beyond sick and tired of Curtis and his judginess.
Tumblr media
16:00 - Flash shoutout! Hi Captain Singh! I forgot Dinah used to work at the CCPD before moving to Star City.
Tumblr media
16:55 - "Your father is gonna make his famous chili tonight."
Comics reference!
17:20 - Did anyone say whether or not felicity was the one to develop the Archer program? Maybe she took her home security system and expanded it?
18:25 - Mr. and Mrs. Clayton? Will's grandparents? That can’t be good.
22:05 - Excuse you, Grandpa, but Oliver was absent for most of William's life because YOUR DAUGHTER told him she lost their baby! It wasn't like he had a choice in the matter.
23:00 - "You're Connor Hawke. John Diggle's son."
So did JJ change his name to Connor or do John and Lyla have another kid down the road?
25:30 - This week's villain is all kinds of scary seeming.
25:58 - Seriously, though. The first rule is that you never split up.
27:45 - This episode is hitting all the hallmarks of a horror movie.
Scary music. Check
Dark and stormy night. Check.
Abandoned house where the power doesn't work. Check.
The group splits up. Check.
Weird monkey toy with symbols. Check.
Music box playing a creepy tune. Check.
A bloody bathroom. Check.
Evidence in the basement. Check.
30:10 - It's Stanley! Hi Stanley. You really are a creepy serial killer.
Dinah has the scar from this encounter on the flashforwards. I wonder if Curtis cauterizing her throat will have affected her Canary Cry.
34:06 - "We've all grown and changed a lot since you got out of Slabside. And I’ve been thinking that maybe you and I need to think more about what William needs."
"You mean to tell me that you honestly believe he would be better off away from us."
“I think that now that you're working with the SCPD and Team Arrow again that we don't exactly provide a life of normalcy and -"
"I just want to be a better father to him than my father was to me."
"You already are. By giving him the life that he deserves. Even if it breaks our hearts."
This whole thing. Oliver wants nothing more than to have his son with him, finally, after being in prison. Felicity sees the turmoil her husband is in and is there for him when he needs her.
Tumblr media
34:50 - "Felicity's alive."
Tumblr media
35:40 - "What, did you guys date or something?"
"God, no! I'm gay and she's my mom!"
William called Felicity his mom! I hope we will get something like that in the present day timeline. Maybe when William comes and visits them on a holiday.
36:00 - Really cool flashforward fight scene. Great to see Roy fighting again.
37:50 - "It's delicious! In fact, I will have seconds if you will pass me some more please."
So according to the comics, Oliver Queen's famous chili is supposed to be the spiciest in the world, with only Batman able to eat it without crying. And now we know that Felicity loves it.
Felicity is on par with Batman.
Not that that's news.
Felicity's security system being contingent on the building's electricity not being out might be something she wants to fix so people don't keep getting into their apartment. Maybe put it on a separate generator?
42:26 - Oliver's eyebrows.
46:50 - THAT WHOLE SCENE.
Tumblr media
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Stanley has done in less than one episode what Ricardo Diaz has not managed to do in multiple seasons. BE A DECENT VILLAIN.
49:47 - "I am gonna miss you, Curtis."
Digg, you are one of the very view who will miss him, because I certainly won't!
50:04 - "Rene already gave you up."
That seems to be a habit of his.
Wait. CURTIS IS LEAVING.
YES.
Tumblr media
And Felicity gets Helix! Can we bring more of that into this season please?!
We got so few good father/son moments this season, and now William is leaving for his grandparents' place?
52:10 - William and Oliver together just gut me. Oliver wanted nothing more than to have his son with him, finally. But he knew that he had to do what was best for his son, regardless of how he felt. So he let William make the decision whether or not to stay with him.
Tumblr media
52:32 - Felicity is such a mom.
53:15 - "You have a home with the two of us in Star City forever."
53:28 - FELICITY IS PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
54:03 - Felicity has a daughter and her name is Mia Smoak. But why not Queen?
Why hasn’t he been mentioned?
When will The Mark of Four be created?
This week’s episode was awesome!
An amazing villain with a nail biting climax scene. Brendan Fletcher did an amazing job as Stanley Dover. If only this season’s supposed “Big Villain” were as scary.
Also, I hope Felicity lays into John when she finds out he’s working with Diaz. She deserves to be more than angry at the fact that the guy who has tried to kill her entire family is still breathing, let alone working for ARGUS.

@marjorineaskblog and @friendly-neighborhood-new-kid since idk how to do mobile stuff
Johanna Rosella Johanna Fredricks moved to South Park when she was 7 years old and made friends the day they arrived, she’d gotten permission to go play as long as she took the Walkie Talkie which would reach all over the little town. She’d meet Bradley Rosella and he’d become her childhood best friend and her eventual High School sweetheart, they’d have two children before he’s killed by a drunk driver while running to the store for milk. Spencer Morgan A young Italian man  that moved to South Park shortly before the events of TFBW, he eventually meets and falls head over heels for Johanna. They date for a year then get married, they have a son named Johnny when Alfred’s 10. Alfred Rosella The oldest of Johanna and Bradley Rosella Alfred has Torrette’s that make his neck perodically jerk to one side or the other and he has to rotate his wrists, he’s got a pretty bad stutter but no-one knows why it sure doesn’t stop him. He was 5 when his father died and he is very protective of his baby brother because he’s the man of the house now, Alfred is a very shy kid but will be out going once he gets used to kids. He’s in the same classes as Kenny but sits in the back most of the time, he often wears a Black puffy winter coat and will retreat inside it if someone pushes him too far. Lucas Rosella Lucas is Alfred’s baby brother and practically his shadow, he’s got trouble with letting people get close because he thinks he’s a curse. Lucas was 3 when his father Bradley died, he’d been whining that he wanted Milk for his cereal and his dad left to get it for him and a drunk driver killed him. He’s in the same class as Ike Broflovski, he’s a little too trusting so Alfred often protects him. Jade Pines Twin sister of Marion Pines Jade is exactly like her brother to the point where if their hair matched lengths they’d be impossible to tell apart, she’s exceptionally close to her twin and they claim they can read each others minds. She’s pretty girly prefering skirts and dresses, she isn’t afraid to get down and dirty when it comes to her brother who’s a tad frailer than her. Jade is Genderfluid (pronouns change with whoever is in control) Jaden is her boy side (he was their s.o.t princes) and Misty is her hero (TFBW hero Misstery) Marion Pines Twin brother to Jade(n) Pines Marion is a massive nerd and a mysterious person around children that don’t know him, he’s a bit of a frail child. When the twins were born Marion’s umbilical chord was around his neck twice, he was born by an emergency C-section and he was Blue in the face. He’s exceptionally close with his sister obviously, Jade’s pretty much his protector. Marion is Genderfluid (Pronouns depend on whoever is in control) Marie is his girly princess side (he was their s.o.t princess) and Mario is his hero side (TFBW hero Mr. A)
Molly Rogers Molly loves musicals and some sports, she’s the only child of Jason and Veronica Rogers. Molly is playful and very athletic for her age, she jogs everywhere rather than riding her big wheel and loves to play tag and the Japanese game called Kankeri. Amanda Jones The only child of Eliot and Olivia Jones Amanda is quite a little tomboy, after she got gum in her hair she was too scared to tell her parents and simply chopped it off herself. Due to the way she dresses and looks boy tend to not realize she’s a girl and some even forget it, she loves things like skate boarding and basket ball. Samuel Williams Samuel (Sammy) Williams is a soft spoken only child, his parents Sally and Dean run a cafe connected to a bakery (Sally runs the cafe and Dean runs the bakery) and Sammy always has coffee and baked goods in his lunch. He’s a musical buff and lives to sing, Sammy successfully got his friends into musicals over the years. By College they’re all engaged or married and the four are in the drama club, Sammy succeeds in convincing everyone to audition for Hamilton and his friends and they get the parts making the play feel Authentic to them due to their long life of friendship. Lafayette Alexandre A french student that recently transferred (he showed up just before the movie if I were to use the movie as some point in the timeline), he was instantly accepted into Alfred’s slowly growing click where he met many sweet kids. He’d slowly get close to Samuel Williams and they’d start dating in their freshman year of high school, before high school Lafayette used to jokingly flirt with his gay friends only if they said it was okay for him to tease them. During high school he’d work at the cafe with Sammy, he’d jokingly ask Sammy how he’d feel about wearing a dress if they got married only to learn the little American already planned to. Alexis (Alex) Alexis is the only girl in a family with 3 sets of twin boys that came before her, Alexis is still fairly girly despite living with nothing but boys aside from her mom. The upside of growing up with 6 big brothers is Alex can hold her own, she once beat down a boy that she was half the size of because he kept pulling her hair. She’s dating Clay Calloway and they eventully open a camping goods store after graduating high school, she’s a very sweet girl. Clayton (Clay) Calloway (no relation to the singer Cab Calloway) A bit mature for his age Clay is the only child of Clayton senior and his wife Imelda, he’s the kind of guy that looks like he’d eat you but is actually nursing sick and hurt animals back to good heath before releasing them. He’s Alex’s boyfriend and they eventually open a camp store in the town after high school, they still wear their hero gear into adulthood and watch over the city with the Riot Raiders aka the rest of their friend circle. Maria Darling Maria Darling (Born Markus Eric Darling) is a soft spoken recently only child, she had a twin brother whose eyes mirrored hers (hers are Blue (right) Brown (Left)) and Johnny’s were the opposite. Johnny was hit by a car in NYC during their family’s Summer Vacation to the city, he died on impact and is buried in South Park. After losing ‘his’ brother Markus came out as trans and started going by Maria and dressing in girly clothes, she’d go on to grow out her hair and stop wearing contacts to hide her eyes. Maria’s parents run a plant nursery, well her mom runs it her dad owns it but prefers to be the Pre-school teacher at South Park Elementary. She’s a musical buff and lives to sing and dance, Sammy successfully got her and their friends into musicals over the years. By College they’re all engaged or married and the entire crew is in the drama club, Sammy succeeds in convincing everyone to audition for Hamilton and his friends and they get the parts making the play feel Authentic to them due to their long life of friendship. Maria played Angelica Schyler, she’s single and swings both ways. By HS she’s wearing bras and filling them with bra padding, she transitions in her third year.Maria Darling is a soft spoken recently only child, she had a twin brother whose eyes mirrored hers (hers are Blue (right) Brown (Left)) and Johnny’s were the opposite. His parents were drug abusing alchoholics and tried to sell their daughter to a dealer for drugs, the baby ent up in the South Park orphanage because the dealer was an undercover cop. Kendra Parker would become a selective mute rarely speaking unless she honestly trusted the person, she’d come out as transgender at 6-years-old and chop her long brown hair at school in art class then writing ‘my name is Kent now, I’m a boy’ on the little chalk board he carried around. Bitten by the Scarab of R'lyeh after accidentally being transfered there with the coon friends during the hindsight incident turned 8 year old Kent Parker into the Netherborn superhero the Netherbug, an insectlike hero with the inability to stay dead and the ability to fly. Clyde Donovan gives him his suit, claiming it’d been a prototype suit he didn’t want.

Home Alone’s Devin Ratray on Becoming Hollywood’s Ultimate Big Brother Bully, Buzz
https://ift.tt/3q2Rba0
There are Christmas films and then there’s Home Alone.
Released back in 1990, no one really knew what to expect from this low-budget family comedy about a boy forced to defend his house from a pair of bungling burglars after being accidentally left behind from a family holiday.
Yet Home Alone is one of those rare examples of all the stars aligning in Hollywood to create something special. It’s a truly unique Christmas film, both feel-good and immensely funny, rivalled only in that respect by Will Ferrell’s Elf.
There are countless reasons why it remains a festive classic; John Hughes’s script, Chris Columbus’s deft direction, the work of cinematographer Kevin Macat and John Williams’s score are just a few examples.
One that often gets overlooked, however, is Devin Ratray’s Buzz McCallister.
Few actors have succeeded so well in bringing to life all the painfully familiar tropes of the average older brother. Buzz can be mean. His behaviour occasionally borders on bullying. But he’s also funny and, when it comes down to it, has a good heart.
Ratray’s performance embodies that strange sibling duality perfectly.

Hughes had written Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin in mind for the role of Kevin, while Columbus was always keen on bringing together the diverse talents of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as hapless criminals Harry and Marv.
It was Casting Director Janet Hirshenson who recruited Ratray for the role of Buzz – a role he could never have predicted, 30 years later, he would still be talking about.
“I’m asked about it all the time,” he tells Den of Geek.
“At this time of year, I am asked about it on a daily basis.”
According to Ratray, people tend to fall into one of two distinct categories when it comes to realising he played Buzz in Home Alone.
“People either know me right away or they find out after knowing me for some time. It can be quite a surprise. I don’t look the same as I did when I was 13,” he laughs.
Born in New York to actor parents Peter Ratray and Ann Willis, he had already been acting in movies for four years prior to landing the part of Buzz following a “relatively straightforward audition.”
After an initial meeting with Hirshenson he was invited to a hotel in midtown New York to read for Columbus.
“Chris encouraged me to explore the material. If I felt like throwing in a line or improvising, he wanted me to do that so he could get a better sense of who I was. He made me feel at ease and very comfortable and I walked out feeling quite relaxed. It was a pretty good experience in terms of an auditioning process and just a total joy when I got the part.”
Ratray is even able to recall what he read for Columbus, more than 30 years later.

“I remember doing the Old Man Marley speech in Buzz’s bedroom for the audition. I guess it helped that I had memorised it and felt comfortable with the script. I just felt very at ease with Chris Columbus. Maybe he felt that he could work with someone who didn’t come across as nervous on camera. I don’t know what it was but I’m just grateful that I got it.”
Some actors may have been able to draw from their own personal experience when it came to shaping a character like Buzz – plenty of us have been born with older brothers, after all.
But, fortunately for him, Ratray’s formative years were a far more pleasant experience.
“I have an older brother and there is almost the same age difference as Kevin and Buzz but he and I got along very well growing up. He was nothing like Buzz at all. The exact opposite in fact, so there was no familial inspiration at home.”
Despite his largely negative depiction in Home Alone, the role of Buzz was one that Ratray relished playing and one he had no apprehension about taking on.
“Up until then I had played either nerds or bullies. Both ends of the spectrum. But playing the bad guy is always more fun and playing a nasty, surly, rude teenage bastard like Buzz was great.”
Ratray has fond memories of life on the set of Home Alone working alongside the rest of the kids that can be found running around the McCallister house at the start of the film.
“We would laugh and joke around. We bonded like brothers and sisters. I don’t recall any fighting at all. I was also a bit older than most so they did treat me like Buzz the older brother but I felt very close with them and we had a pretty good time together.”
Even so, Ratray remembers facing a gruelling schedule of filming and school work on the set of Home Alone.
“It was hard. We had to go school on the set for three hours a day as well as putting in the eight-hour work day. We didn’t have breaks really.”
Occasionally, if there was a break in filming, he would be rushed off into a lesson with one of the private tutors on set. However, if filming resumed within 20 minutes, none of that lesson time would count towards the required three hours of schooling a day.
Despite the intense workload, Ratray has few regrets about being a child actor.
“It was still fun. A tremendous, unique childhood. I enjoyed it all. I only wish in retrospect I had paid more attention to the schooling on set. It made for a difficult transition when I would get back from a movie and have to catch up at school.”
The hours may have been long and the schooling stop-start but Ratray still has fond memories of his “very brotherly relationship” with Culkin, who he was already aware of prior to Home Alone.
“He was the kid from Uncle Buck at the time and I loved his work in that. He was great to work with,” Ratray says.
“We would try and crack each other up on set. He never succeeded but I absolutely got him.”
Ratray had Culkin in stitches during the scene in which Buzz intentionally eats the cheese pizza specially ordered for Kevin and then offers to “barf” it up for him – classic Buzz.
“Every time on his close-ups, I would slowly shovel pizza into my mouth. I totally got him. He was at my mercy.”
Some actors might have struggled with take after take of eating pizza – but Ratray had no qualms about enjoying the delights of Little Nero’s Pizza, happily consuming slice after slice on camera.
“I have no idea how many takes it took but I never had any difficulty. I really encouraged Chris to let me eat the pizza in the grossest way possible.  Milk it for all it was worth. I did a pretty good job.”
While Ratray remembers laughing a lot with Culkin on the set, he cites his onscreen mother and future Schitt’s Creek star Catherine O’Hara as someone he looked up to on the film.

Is Home Alone The Best Christmas movie of All Time?
By James Clayton
“She taught me so much about comedic timing and being real. There’s real acting in her performance. I studied her and learned a tremendous amount. The balance between frantic panic and true comedy. Almost screwball comedy. It’s a very fine line and she does it brilliantly. I just loved working with her.”
Ratray wouldn’t encounter the more fearsome of the film’s two Wet Bandits, Joe Pesci, until work began on the sequel. It was an encounter that wouldn’t have sounded out of place in Goodfellas.
“I let my hair grow out after Home Alone. So, initially I had this long, shoulder length hair. Joe Pesci, at the time, had a massive, almost pompadour style thick head of hair and they shaved him bald for the movie.
“He was outside the makeup trailer once as I was going in with the long hair and he said ‘What? They’re letting you keep that? They’re letting you keep your hair like that? They had to shave mine!’”
“I had to be like ’No, Mr Pesci, I’m going in to get the buzz.’ Then he was still there when I came out with the fresh buzz cut and was like ‘look at that, they got you too! Let me see it’ and ribbed me a little for us both having to shave our heads.”
One person he does regret not interacting with on the film is John Hughes though Ratray was fortunate enough to later be cast in another of his movies, the Home Alone-esque Dennis The Menace.
“I found him to be such a warm and caring and humorous guy. Joking around, laughing with kids. Working for him was an absolute honour and seeing what a great guy he was. I wish I could have spent more time with him.”
The Home Alone movies changed Culkin’s life, catapulting him to superstardom and staggering $8 million pay checks for the movies Getting Even With Dad and Richie Rich.
Ratray might not have enjoyed the same level of stardom but he’s continued to work steadily , popping up on TV procedurals like Blue Bloods, Law & Order Special Victims Unit and Elementary as well as in meatier roles on underrated shows like Mosaic and The Tick.
Alongside that has come film roles in critically-acclaimed fare like Nebraska and Blue Ruin. It’s a CV that demonstrates he’s never ended up typecast as a result of Buzz McCallister, even if it has had its ups and downs.
Devin Ratray in Blue Ruin (2013)
“I am very privileged to have continued to act as my only profession and luckily I am able to continue to do interesting and different roles that aren’t just Buzz. But clearly Buzz is something that is going to stay with me.”
Ratray acknowledges he has occasionally been on the receiving end of people who think it is “funny to challenge Buzz McCallister” in public but has never been targeted or bullied over it. He’s also encountered fellow actors who have told him he “caught a lucky break and didn’t deserve” the role. It’s hard to know which sounds worse.
And like Culkin, Ratray struggles to watch a film millions tune in to watch every Christmas.
“I don’t watch it the same way anybody else would. I watch the film and I think about the set that we were on or something that happened at lunch during that day. It’s a dissociative experience.”
With much of the world in lockdown and many film and TV productions only now beginning to get back up and running, Ratray decided to show the film to his seven-year-old son.
“I was expecting him to be a little more impressed. He was a little disorientated to tell you the truth. He watched it and was kind of fascinated when I was on.
“I’m not quite sure he comprehended that when he was looking at the child on the screen that that was his big bearded dad. It must have been an odd experience for him.”
All these years later and despite the personal difficulties he has with it, Ratray still has a favourite scene or two from Home Alone.
“I enjoy telling the Old Man Marley story. Also, at the end when Buzz tells Kevin it’s pretty cool that he didn’t burn the place down. That was a moment that showed he wasn’t a total dick.”
Generally, though, he is hypercritical watching himself back.
“I don’t really like my performance in Home Alone. I go for obvious choices. If I did it now, I would have been funnier and meaner and better all around.”
Even with all those difficulties and the fact that, 30 years later, he’s still fielding questions about a Christmas movie he made as a teenager, Ratray has nothing but gratitude for being involved in the  movie.
“I am grateful and thankful it has become a favourite for different generations and transcended film and become bigger than a movie. People associate the holidays with it and they associate family memories with it. It’s made a deep, visceral impact on many people and also, now, their children and even grandchildren over the past 30 years.
“It’s a tremendous phenomenon to be part of and I am very glad that I get to say I played a part.”
Buzz McCallister undoubtedly played an important part in making Home Alone the film fondly remembered today – and it may yet end up being a part he returns to in the not-too-distant future.
“I’m not at liberty to say right now but there may very well be a future engagement and return to the character. But I am not allowed to say right now.”

Harboured and Encompassed, Chapter 13
Have some nice fluffy sweetness! :D
Chapters: 13/25

Rating: Mature
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Relationships: Archie Kennedy/Horatio Hornblower, Horatio Hornblower & William Bush, Archie Kennedy & William Bush, Styles/Matthews

 Summary:
All Horatio wanted from his internship at the National Maritime Museum’s special collections was some time alone with the Nelson-era naval manuscripts. He didn’t expect to fall in love with one of the library patrons, an exuberant, confident actor about to make his film debut in a Napoleonic naval period piece.
All Archie wanted was to leave the nightmare of RADA and Simpson far behind, and to start preparing for the role that would change his life. The last thing he expected was to fall for an adorably gangly, socially awkward naval history nerd who worked the special collections desk.
But how do you navigate a new relationship when the past won’t stay in the past?
I am ridiculously grateful to a slew of people: thanks to @fionatlux for being the reason I wrote this thing in the first place, to @underhyll for her early feedback and enthusiasm, to @girabbit for her cheering and support, to @sufficientlylargen for someone not minding that this fic became the third entity in our relationship, to @bfawlty314 for the reading, encouragement, brainstorming, and fielding of random questions (e.g. “Hey, what’s the saddest song you know?”), and to @truthisademurelady for the hours of beta-reading, extended conversations that became surprisingly philosophical, and for her guidance as I went about writing a novel.
Thanks also for reading, whether you’re commenting or lurking! It’s a real pleasure to share this with you!

I want something more with William... He’s just being there and though loved in some way - he’s not being used as much as I want to...
I’m also a bit inspired by Arcane, Powder... Not as drastic, but knowing me that can easily be turned in such. Losing his entire family after Stat City falls to ruins. Someone taking William under his wing, and slowly being raised and turned into someone who participates in crime and invents things that can cause disasters.
Someone old coming back to his life and trying to safe him from wicked clutches. I have wishes... I want more attention for my boi okay?

It's binge time: What to stream during Thanksgiving weekend
New Post has been published on http://usnewsaggregator.com/its-binge-time-what-to-stream-during-thanksgiving-weekend/
It's binge time: What to stream during Thanksgiving weekend
Thanksgiving is upon us. That means it’s time to gorge on carbs, nestle in on the couch, and treat yourself to dozens of hours in front of your screens. Here are some old favorites and new releases that landed on streaming services in November, hand-picked for your holiday enjoyment.
For classic slapstick: Airplane!
This endlessly quotable parody of disaster flicks is catnip for comedy nerds, a blend of Borscht Belt puns (“I am serious, and don’t call me Shirley”) and stoner absurdity. The threadbare plot is really an excuse for nonstop sight gags, flashbacks, movie references and fast-paced one-liners. The ensemble cast includes deadpan genius Leslie Nielsen, who went on to star in “The Naked Gun” franchise, and NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who plays a doomed co-pilot.
Where to watch: Amazon Prime, Hulu
For transfixing true crime: Alias Grace
Canadian novelist Margaret Atwood is having a moment. “The Handmaid’s Tale,” the Hulu series based on her dystopian fable, captured the post-2016 zeitgeist and swept the Emmys. “Alias Grace,” adapted from her eponymous 1996 novel, could become a sociopolitical touchstone, too. Sarah Gadon stars as Grace Marks, a real-life servant imprisoned for a double murder in 19th-century Canada. The six-part miniseries is directed by Mary Harron (“American Psycho”) and written by actress/filmmaker Sarah Polley.
Where to watch: Netlix
Sarah Gadon in Netflix’s “Alias Grace.” Jan Thijs / Netflix
For brilliant filmmaking: Get Out
The recent debate over whether this box-office phenomenon should be considered a comedy or drama at the upcoming Golden Globes was telling. “Get Out,” the directorial debut of comedian Jordan Peele, is a horror film that samples and remixes genres with nervy aplomb, zigzagging from social satire and dark comedy to bone-chilling frights. Daniel Kaluuya stars as a black photographer whose weekend visit with the family of his white girlfriend quickly turns nightmarish. Peele may have the last word on how to think of his breakout project. He says it’s a documentary.
Where to watch: HBO Go, HBO Now
For soulful surrealism: Lady Dynamite
Don’t be fooled by the candy-colored production design: “Lady Dynamite,” now in its second season, will surprise you with its dark edges and strange rhythms. The series stars stand-up comic Maria Bamford as stand-up comic Maria Bamford, who struggles with bipolar disorder. The exuberant, gleefully weird humor is shaded by real pain, making “Lady Dynamite” a close cousin to “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” the beloved musical-comedy sitcom on the CW. “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Ana Gasteyer has a recurring role as Bamford’s agent.
Where to watch: Netflix
For intelligent thrills: Michael Clayton
“Michael Clayton” turned 10 this year, but the critically acclaimed film hasn’t lost any of its edge or urgency. The film stars George Clooney as a “fixer” at a powerful New York law firm who discovers a conspiracy involving an agribusiness conglomerate. Tilda Swinton won an Oscar for her unforgettable turn as a high-strung corporate lawyer on the verge of a breakdown. The literate screenplay and sleek visual style helped make this thriller a modern classic.

George Clooney in “Michael Clayton.” Warner Bros
For powerful period drama: Mudbound
Director Dee Rees invests this wrenching historical melodrama with piercing moral clarity. The film focuses on a pair of World War II veterans who return to rural Mississippi at the height of the Jim Crow era. They deal with racism and post-traumatic stress disorder — two charged issues that Rees and her co-writer, Virgil Williams, depict with sensitivity. “Mudbound” could be a contender at the Oscars. R&B star Mary J. Blige, in particular, has earned awards buzz for her memorable performance.
Where to watch: Netflix; also in theaters in select cities
For good times in Brooklyn: She’s Gotta Have It
Spike Lee broke into the independent film world with “She’s Gotta Have It,” a frank and freewheeling 1986 comedy about a young woman juggling the affections of three men. More than three decades later, Lee has returned to that premise in a ten-episode streaming series that premieres on Thursday. DeWanda Wise stars as a vivacious Brooklynite named Nola Darling. “Hamilton” fan favorite Anthony Ramos plays one of her suitors.
Where to watch: Netflix
For vintage J-Law: Winter’s Bone
It may be hard to imagine a time when Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t a global superstar and household name. But that time was only seven years ago, when she landed a breakout role in this low-budget drama. Lawrence plays a teen girl in the Ozarks who has to track down her father, a narrative throughline that the film uses to explore rural poverty and drug addiction. That may not sound like comforting holiday viewing, but “Winter’s Bone” tells a compelling tale with family ties at its core.

off the rack #1167
Monday, June 19, 2017
Time. Constantly moving forward no matter what. There comes a point in one's life when you notice the passage of time. For me it started with people I know getting married. Then it was seeing them having children of their own. It seemed like all of a sudden I was attending funerals. I started retailing comic books in 1980 feeling like the luckiest nerd in the world and I'm still doing it part time thanks to Heather at Comet Comics and my partner Chris at Jee-Riz Comics & Appraisals. I believe it helps to keep me young. I think I'll have my ashes bagged and boarded with my lucky headband after I've shuffled off this mortal coil.
Action Comics #981 - Dan Jurgens (writer) Jack Herbert (art) Hi-Fi (colours) Rob Leigh (letters). The Superman Revenge Squad recruits their latest member and this megalomaniac will pose the biggest threat to the Man of Steel in a while. Not a good time for Superman to suffer from an unexpected handicap. He's going to need a little help from his friends now and Dan gives us hints as to who they are throughout this issue.
Weapon X #4 - Greg Pak (writer) Greg Land (pencils) Jay Leisten (inks) Frank D'Armata (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). Well the gang's all here plus the Totally Awesome Hulk. The surprise reveal of the villain just made me go meh.
Jimmy's Bastards #1 - Garth Ennis (writer) Russ Braun (art) John Kalisz (colours) Rob Steen (letters). The title of this new book made me wonder what it was about because it seemed to be a James Bond 007 parody with the patented over the top Garth Ennis sex and violence that we came to know and love in The Boys. Turns out that Jimmy, the MI6 super spy, has sired enough illegitimate children that they have gathered together for a big family reunion. Boy, do these kids have daddy issues.
Defenders #1 - Brian Michael Bendis (writer) David Marquez (art) Justin Ponsor (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). I suppose that this is the comic book version of the upcoming Netflix TV show because it reads like a first episode where all the major characters are introduced. Well, the heroes at least. I don't know if the villains in here will show up on the show. I have yet to watch the second season of Daredevil, Luke Cage or Iron Fist but I am familiar with them and Jessica Jones so there's no need for me to binge the TV shows to get into what's going on in this comic book. A bad guy attacks the four friends and has a secret weapon which seems to give him a huge advantage. Who needs the Fantastic Four when you've got these guys?
Dark Days: The Forge #1 - Scott Snyder & James Tynion IV (writers) Jim Lee, Andy Kubert & John Romita Jr. (pencils) Scott Williams, Klaus Janson & Danny Miki (inks) Alex Sinclair with Jeremiah Skipper (colours) Steve Wands (letters). This is the start of DC's big crossover event for 2017. It all revolves around a mysterious metal of alien origin from near the dawn of time. Carter Hall/Hawkman starts things off but most of this is in the hands of Batman. The most interesting aspect of this mystery is the appearance of a villain who we haven't seen on the racks in a while. I'm more interested in another character that hasn't been around who will add some levity do these grim proceedings. He's the main reason that I'll be checking out this new crisis.
Briggs Land: Lone Wolves #1 - Brian Wood (writer) Mack Chater (art) Lee Loughridge (colours) Nate Piekos (letters). The family of antigovernment secessionists is back on the racks and they are in a whole new mess of trouble. Two lost hikers are found trespassing and the bad guys decide to do something stupid. I find the politics in this series very interesting.
Kingpin #5 - Matthew Rosenberg (writer) Ben Torres (art) Jordan Boyd (colours) VC's Travis Lanham (letters). If you thought you were going to get more insight into the life of Wilson Fisk by reading this mini you will be disappointed. This focused more on the reporter Sarah Dewey whose life isn't even as interesting as Ben Urich's.
Wonder Woman #14 - Greg Rucka (writer) Bilquis Evely (art) Romulo Fajardo Jr. (colours) Jodi Wynne (letters). This epilogue to "Godwatch" wraps up Doctor Cale's futile attempt to rescue her daughter and seals the fate of the Cheetah. I've grown annoyed with the alternating past and present storylines with each issue hitting the racks so unless the next present story is really good I will bench this book.
American Gods #4 - Neil Gaiman (writer) P. Craig Russell (script & layouts) Scott Hampton (art) Rick Parker (letters). I read the novel recently and it's interesting to see how the art is being interpreted. There is a side story about pixies in the book that Colleen Doran does the writing and art for in this issue. If you like Colleen's work here please give "A Distant Soil" a look see.
All-New Wolverine #21 - Tom Taylor (writer) Leonard Kirk (pencils) Cory Hamscher & Terry Pallot (inks) Michael Garland (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). The end of "Immune" could be the end of Laura. I think Tom handled Deadpool's appearance well. I would read Deadpool if Tom wrote it.
Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps #22 - Robert Venditti (writer) Ethan Van Sciver (art) Jason Wright (colours) Dave Sharpe (letters). Part 1 of "Fracture" starts off showing us a planet that's a big bank in a comic book about an intergalactic police force. You just know it's going to get robbed. The space pirates are just a way of introducing the mystery that will tear the Lanterns apart if I read the title of this story right. Ethan's art is the reason that I keep reading this book. I do consider benching it when another artist is drawing it.
Betty & Veronica #3 - Adam Hughes (story & art) Jose Villarrubia (colours) Jack Morelli (letters). There's a really great twist that ends this story about a feud between B&V. Now I wish Adam would do a Josie and the Pussycats story.
Uncanny Avengers #24 - Jim Zub (writer) Kim Jacinto (art) Tamra Bonvillain (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). I debated whether I was going to continue reading this title after artist Pepe Larraz finished his run but decided to give new writer Jim a shot because I like this team. He did a good job of showing these heroes in action for this Secret Empire tie-in and Kim's art is quite nice. I think I'll stick around for a bit.
Detective Comics #958 - James Tynion IV (writer) Alvaro Martinez (pencils) Raul Fernandez (inks) Brad Anderson (colours) Sal Cipriano (letters). Part 1 of "Intelligence" starts a new story centered around team member Azrael. James piqued my curiosity by hinting at a mysterious female guest star and when I got to the last page reveal I was very pleased. Alvaro may not be as eye pleasing as Adam Hughes but he did a good job drawing her. I am going to read the rest of this story just to see her in action. The scene with Cassandra reciting Shakespeare was cute.
Ms. Marvel #19 - G. Willow Wilson (writer) Marco Failla (art) Ian Herring (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). The 4-part "Mecca" starts here. The subject matter is apropos of the current immigration climate in the USA right now. I like to think that comic book fandom is well informed and open minded so I hope that Willow's views are generally supported and there aren't too many negative reactions to this story.
Star Wars #32 - Jason Aaron (writer) Salvador Larroca (art) Edgar Delgado (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). Uh-oh, some of the good guys change sides in part 4 of "Screaming Citadel". This should have been a Doctor Aphra book because she plays a big part in the adventure.
Hulk #7 - Mariko Tamaki (writer) George Duarte (art) Matt Milla (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). New artist George Duarte does an excellent job. I am still enjoying watching Jennifer work through her trauma. She Hulks out but only to blow off some steam. The surprise visit from a friend was nice. If the last page is any indication, there is going to be plenty of smashing next issue.

William opened the front door - soaked by the pouring rain outside. He tossed his bag in the corner of the hall and headed into the living room. “Dad, I’m home...” though it wasn’t that enthusiastic, knowing that he wouldn’t be home - which happened a lot.
The boy sniffed the air as he smelled something foul but noticed where it was coming from and saw a man in a trench coat standing, blonde, messy hair... William took a couple of steps back - he didn’t know who that man was and he didn’t do well with unknown figures that just stood there in his father’s home like that. The young man tried to walk away unnoticed until he kicked against a small table by accident. “Shit...”

" we don't have to do anything tonight. would you rather cuddle, instead? " (Lio to Will)
“We got the house all for ourselves, we should do whatever we want without my dad hovering.” His cheeks colored a little. “How often does it happen? I mean… sure he’s out every evening - but now we Dio is actually taking him away for the weekend. That is rare!” William moved closer to Emilio. “We can play around anywhere we want - 2 nights, all alone…” His hands placing on his boyfriend’s shoulders before he straddled him - letting his fingers play with the blonde hair.

I want a storyline with William. One where his grandparents from his mother and father’s side have passed. One where Adrian Chase actually managed to kill the Green Arrow and his mother. Thea in a coma and William has no where to go.
What I’m trying to say, I want a different parent dynamic. I want William to lash out at someone because he’s broken, traumatized and he feels alone. I want someone who protects William no matter the painful things he can say.
Someone taking care of my kid! See who he becomes? What he grows into?
