For a few moments, she'd thought he'd reject her offer. The fear of that sent her heart pounding in her chest as she put a hand to it, trying to stem the panic attack that was threatening to bubble to the surface. It would be okay, right? Everything was okay, right?

The tightness in her chest was starting to get to her right as he accepted her offer of a meal. It didn't leave, though, and Aria had to close her eyes and force herself to take a few deep breaths. Things were okay, he didn't reject her offer. In fact, he seemed excited about the prospect of a meal from her. That was... different, in her experience.

Opening her eyes, she relaxed a little, the panic subsiding finally. Things were okay, things were okay. She wasn't in danger, nor was she in trouble. Nor was he... rejecting her offer. Okay, that was okay. Even if he did reject it, it was okay. She had to remember that. Lancer was his own person, too. He had the right to say no.

"O-okay. I-Is there... anything in particular you'd... you'd like? I-I'm... I-I can cook a lot of things..." Thanks to having to be the only one cooking while living in that hellhole that masqueraded as a "vacation", she'd learned how to cook various things. "I-If we don't... h-have the ingredients, I-I can go shopping! ...B-but I-I'd need you to... um, come along too... B-because I'm... I'm still scared about..."

Aria swallowed a little, shaking her head. "A-about going... out alone.... S-sorry to impose, Lancer..."

Blown up. Aria looked around before standing back up and dusting her hands off. Not too long later, Archer was hopping down from a nearby building. The mechanical spider didn't even move.

"That should take care of it. We'll be free to explore the area. Though, I should tell you that there's a literal dragon at the top of the tower over there." He pointed towards a tower far, far in the distance. "Apparently, according to Ryza, it's been there for many years and was worshiped by the people of her town."

"So, we're gonna hunt a dragon?" Caster looked excited about that. "I haven't really hunted one of those before! That sounds pretty exciting!"

"As long as we make sure we're doing this right. I don't want to get charred to a crisp." Hibiki fidgeted with her bracelet. "I'm fast enough to outrun its flames with Elekleid, but I don't want to push it too far."

"Why are we planning to fight the dragon? We're going to leave it alone. That's the best course of-"

"It's dying tonight! We're eating dragon meat for dinner! Wooo, dragon stew on the menu!" And there goes Aria, running off into the distance.

"....You've been walking for the past day. Are you gonna stop anytime soon?"

"No."

"Keeping Lancer at long range with Rune Magic, it looks like."

"Yeah, that's Rune Magic, alright. Dunno where that girl learned it- isn't she a bit too modern to know such things?"

"It's like she learned them from someone because she knows what she's doing.... Ugh, this is giving me a headache."

The battle is stopped in its tracks with Lancer staring at Aria... who stares right back, realizing what she just said.
