.｡.:*☆ Anakin really needed some time for himself. With his trainer, he could not talk about the things that bugged him. The old man would most likely not believe that Anakin had been a Jedi in his old life. And, he most likely couldn’t even blame him for it And Ahsoka was gone, and his mother was gone. Leia hated him and Padme was scared of him. It was safe to say that his life was pretty much a mess, bascially.

However, the diner Anakin had picked was pretty crowded, pretty much to his dislike. “MInd if I sit here?“ He asked when finding a free seat, balancing a tray with food in his arms.

.｡.:*☆  Anakin only arched a brow, not knowing what he should even say to Jacen about this. He was not angry - not like before, at least - but his memories had not really returned still, and it made conversations like this a little exhausting.

“I guess you are right,” He eventually said, anyway, followed by a shrug of his shoulders. “What exactly are you trying to tell me with that, though?”

.｡.:*☆ "That has been a long time ago. In another life." And, really, to Anakin, it felt exactly like that. Maybe also because of his fake memories. And the holes in those that did really belong to him.

However, Rex was rather friendly, and did not seem to be scared of him like Padme, so, Anakin assumed for now, iot was fine. However, when the man continued to spoke, his eyebrows furrowed more and more with each word.

"Fives? Chip?" He repeated, as if that would spark any memories. "I am sorry, but there seem to be a lot of things I forgot. What you just told me, was that.... did it happen before or after I became Vader?"

He could hear the hesitancy, was it really that surprising? To his knowledge Anakin had been killed during Order 66. He hadn't been with him at the time, but it would have been someone with his face. His general had always seen them as individuals, but he doubted that made it any easier.

"Would have thought that was you decision, it's your name" but if Anakin was happy with it, he wasn't going to argue. Names would always be slightly different, but he had been born with a serial number, Rex was a name he chose. "I know what happened to the Jedi, but Fives was right, that chip... we couldn't fight it" and as much as he had admired the jedi, the other clones came before everything, even before the Republic, he had to try and defend what they'd done. "My chip was removed a long time ago" reassurance perhaps, but he seemed uncomfortable. Much as he might want to say he'd have never killed Anakin, he had tried to kill Ahsoka.

.｡.:*☆ Anakin never expected he would ever show interest in anyone again in more than, well, a level of friendship. Like, he was not even close with his fellow rookies still. And what he had done to Padme.... Anakin knew that this was something that simple never should happen again. On the other hand, here in Sydney, he was at least free of the influence of... well, certain beings. And technically not married anymore, as well.

Still, Ani was uncertain when Dani had asked to spend his free day with her. He didn't even know what to expect but yet.... there he was. Waiting in front of the coffee shop where the two of them had agreed to meet.

.｡.:*☆ "My boss told me to patrol here because we've had a few break-ins lately." Anankin stated while flashing his police office badge at Sabine. Furrowing his eyebrows as she continued to talk. He was someone from his world, it did seem. From his old life.

"My padawan? You must mean Ahsoka. Which means that you are.... Sabine, right?" Anakin had not met the woman ever before - not that he could remember, at least. So, he had no idea what she thought about him, or the things he'd done and well, his guard was all up because of that. "If you are looking for her, I have to tell you she has left Sydney. But I do not know when I and why, I fear."

.｡.:*☆ "That stuff happened because of Vader, not me." However, Anakin was aware that many people - including his own daughter, as it seemed - did not care about things like this. Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were the same person for them. And yes, Anakin was willing to accept whatever.... punishment they had in mind for those crimes. Even when it was not fair. And hard, with no one really giving him a chance.

"However, I am accepting whatever..... penance this place has in mind for me. Even when I am aware it is not bringing back anyone of those that had been dying by the hand of Darth Vader whatsoever. And your pain, well... I guess it will not go away either just like this, will it?"

                      leia  couldnt  help  but  roll  her  eyes  ,  she  knew  in  the  end  he  changed  but  it  didnt  change  the  fact  he  had  not  only  killed  her  parents  but  her  whole  planet.  ‘  given  the  stuff  that  happened.  maybe  its  your  penance.  ‘  leia  snarked  back  as  she  crossed  her  arms  ,  she  didnt  know  how  she  ended  up  forgiving  him  later  in  life  if  it  was  like  this.

.｡.:*☆ "Maybe. Like.... who really knows, right?" Ani had no idea what else to say. For a while, he had thought he would be okay in Sydney. Not happy, but okay. But now, his mother was gone. Ahsoka was gone. Padme was scared of him and his daughter, Leia, well, she hated Anakin. Or, she hated Vader. But what difference would that make, really. It was him everyone would see as an enemy, at the end of the day.

"It will not change anything to talk about it now, though." He shook his head, eyes dark and clouded. "What has happened, has happened. And I am going to pay the price for it. Or, in fact, I already do. Every day of living here in Sydney I am paying the price of all the crimes that vader had commited through my hands...."

.｡.:*☆ Anakin did not feel well. He could not tell what it was, though. Maybe this place. It was giving off vibes that made the former jedi shiver. It was nothing like the darkness he could feel witin the Sith, though. Still, there was soemthing. Like there qwas more than darkne4ss lurking in the shadows of those huge stone walls...

Sighing again, Anakin did his best to push those thoughts far away. he knew how weak he could be. How easy it was to influence his mind. Even when he had always done everything for the right reasons. It had been no excuse, and Anakin knew that now.... no! No, he needed to be strong this time. He needed to figure out what was going on. What this place was, and why he was brought here.

“Hello?” He called, his voice echoing off the walls, which only did add to the eerie atmosphere. “If there is anyone here, you should better come out and show yourself now!”

.｡.:*☆ Anakin was not exactly in the best mood. He did not know why, but something was bothering him greatly since Halloween.

It was although no excuse to be selfish, and to occupy the whole booth in the diner. Feeling some eyes on him, Ani looked up with a sigh. “Yeah, you can sit here, if you want. Just ignore all the mess I created then, please.”

.｡.:*☆ Sometimes Anakin had wondered already if it would be good for him to make friends. People who did not know about his past. It was what his trainer had told him more than once already - together with pointing out it would be good for Ani to see a therapist, maybe. Like, in order to get his anger issues under control finally.

So, maybe tonight was the start of a new chapter of his life. Maybe. Hopefully. Unless this young woman knew his story already somehow.

"Anakin. Anakin Skywalker." He gave Carly a nod and sat down. "It is a pleasure to meet you then."

Sometimes Carly liked to go to different places to treat herself. She was alone in this country and was having trouble making friends. So, she was making the most of her life here by trying to have a social life, even if it meant going to eat alone. at least she was around people, even if they didn't know her.

"yeah, you can sit here." carly assured the guy, giving them a smile. at least she wouldn't have to eat alone tonight. maybe the other was friendly, if so, she might even make a friend. "i'm carly, by the way. carly shay."

.｡.:*☆ “What do you think?” Anakin had never played an instrument before. Like, it had not been part of his Jedi training. And with being both a Skywalker and a Solo, he’d been living with his head in the clouds most of the time, basically.

“They do call it a guitar. I have just learned playing it, really.”

.｡.:*☆ Ani did not know why, but something did feel sort of wrong about this party. It was something nagging in the back of his mind, however, he was still struggling to find the right words to voice his concerns to someone.

“Hey Jacen,” He raised his hand when spotting the other. “Good to see you. Mom said the whole family would be here, but you are the first I spotted, actually.”

.｡.:*☆ “Wow.....” Anakin chuckled, blushing a little as he looked at the other. The compliment was pretty unexpected, so, he had not been sure first how to react.

“Thanks for that,” He eventually managed to say. “I am curious, though - what exactly makes you think that? Just because, I usually do not do anything special to my hair, you know?”

.｡.:*☆ "Bail Organa..." Anakin knew the man, of course. But, well, only briefly. Master Kenobi had introduced the two of them to each other, at some point. What he was not aware of yet, that exactly this man in question had been the one adopting one of Anakin's children after Padme's death.

"And well, guess.... it has been for many of us? Like, assuming from the fact that this city seems to rip us out from any point of our life just like this. Without any former warning or anything."

Of all the people he had been thinking that he may see here, Anakin hadn't been on the list. That was one he wasn't really sure what he was meant to think. He knew that he was Leia's father, it had been something Obi-Wan had told them as soon as the twins were born. But he had suspicions about what had happened after.

Still, that didn't make seeing him here any easier. But he'd never been one to shy away from reality. Anakin was here, best thing was to deal with that reality. "Skywalker... it's been a long time".

.｡.:*☆ Anakin felt odd. He had obviously brought this girl home after Halloween - nothing had happened, he had only crashed at her place - bu Ani was sure he did not know her. They had tried to talk, but then Ani had insisted he needed to go. Because Halloween or not, he had university courses to attend to.

Just when Ani was about to leave his place - he was running late already, anyway - there was a man standing in front of his door. 

“Yes?” Anakin blinked, a little confused. “Can I help you with something?”
