Morning Moments [Toby/Blaire]

Toby's eyes slid opened early, around seven in the morning, and he had to fight the feeling that he was running late. It took him a minute to realize he not only had the day off but he had Blaire laying next to him. The man smiled and brushed two finger over her her side, grazing her silky pajamas until he reached her waistband. He'd promised to wake her up, and he intended to deliver. Toby slid lower, under the sheets. He pulled her shirt up a little and pressed kisses over her stomach then down by her hips.

"Oh?" Toby lifted a brow, "Well that would have been really diplomatic of you and now I kind of want to take you up on that," he flirted, his fingers brushing over her arm. "Come here, get comfy," Toby whispered softly and strongly pulled her closer against his chest, his arm around her shoulders holding her. His lips brushed over her hair and he smiled at the whole scene.

Blaire made her disappointment fully apparent as Toby slid his boxers back on. "For the record, I was fully ready to compromise and strip," she mumbled, "Or lie atop you to keep you warm." Shaking her head, she curled back against Toby's side, resting her head over his heart. "You can make it up to me tomorrow," she whispered.

           Okay ! So for now, I think I’m going to be deleting any old threads that aren’t starters ! I will write a list below of who I owed, and what is being removed. If you still want our thread, give this a like and I will reply to our thread too, if not, I’d love to start something new with you...I just know that now, with the new university year starting, I won’t be able to get them all done and having anxiety over that, just isn’t healthy ! i am very sorry for any inconvenience this might have.  

I’ve got to reiterate for my own piece of mind, that it is not the ship / verse that I don’t want, but the current threads that I am going to struggle to reply to. Having 60+ drafts is making my muse flat-line, and it really is because I don’t love what we have, it’s because I’m an idiot and don’t keep up with threads as well as I should do. I really want to write with everybody tagged underneath this post though, and I am really sorry for letting you down. 

If you have Discord you should add me :   emptiedstage#9034 so we can plot / plan / progress our verses / ships, etc, or even plot new things because I am a sucker for all the things, but knowing we can do it on Discord too, makes it a whole lot easier to deal with.

I have quite a list of banned FCs, I wonder why both, my muses and myself, are far too picky when it comes to whom we write with and which threads we would like for each individual character.

Toby paused playing innocent as he could. He let out a soft chuckle before he spoke again and it leaked into his words. “Why do you think I need something, I can’t just invite you to lunch to catch up a little? I can’t just happen to be in town?” he couldn’t help his grin as he popped another piece of sushi into his mouth. Of course he wanted something, of course there was more going on, there always was. Still, it was nice to have a little foreplay, and she was a good friend. Couldn’t friendship come before a little politics?

Toby sighed heavily, “I know, I heard all of this,” he shook his head. “We won and we did it legally. The state turned blue and no one wants to accept it. It’s blue because the entire film industry moved to the damn state and it’s added to the Democratic vote in the state. Period. The first election they we all sending out absentee ballots back to California or New York. States shift.” He shrugged. “My contacts in the CIA have all confirmed there was no crazy amount of cheating no matter what he claims. The CIA monitors all of this carefully ever election year. Just because you lost doesn’t mean people are fucking shredding ballots--sorry, this is just giving me a fucking migraine.”

Foremost, I want to thank you all for the time you dedicated to reading along the memoirs of the characters and proviso of mine, here and along you will find the rules I consider imperative in order to write along, though many will find them to be a bit redundant, I think I ought to place them here.

∂ SEMI-SELECTIVE BLOG: I reserve the right to respond to whichever threads I would be keen on, I am meticulous with my choosing of writing partners because I like to write with ones that place as much effort and involvedness in their writings as me.

∂ NO GODMMODING: my characters are sovereign beings that should be allowed to their own responses rendering to their cogitates and traits, do not try and assume reactions as I won’t undertake your character’s.

∂ TRIGGERING AND MATURE THEMES: I am over twenty one, there will be some focuses not suitable for underage, it is because of it what I will not write with those who are younger than an appropriate age Themes that are not acquiescent to bylaw, please if you are underage don’t approach me with themes that revolve around NSFW, gore, abuse, etcetera, I won’t… no matter if we are friends.

∂ MULTI-SHIP & MULTI-MUSE: This is a multi-muse blog which means there is more than one active character, each and every character may have several threads, but one is independent that the other, no thread is to be involved with another, so there will be no jealousy, cheating nor involvements in between.

∂ RESPONSES: I take my time for responding threads, it is not because I am ignoring you, nor am I prancing to favorites, merely it is matter of time and which muse and thread I have more enthuse for, each and every writing partner, along with their characters, I love, this is why I chose to carry on with threads, and I will respond to each and every one of them on my own time, if you think it has been long since a last reply please message me at once, sometimes I miss replies due a faulted activity tag…but moreover, I have all saves in drafts.

THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THAT WON’T BE DONE, ACQUIESCENCE NOR ALTERABLE.

I will not carry on with a thread that consists on one liners when there is no icons nor gifs and  pretend to past as para.

I am fond of writing so I will take time to do replies, I will give quality and I expect others to make an effort in they replies, I am an amicable person that enjoys writing along others, but It is not motivating for me to have little to no effort of others when I do think of each reply.

If I have not replied to a certain thread is possible and most accurate that I am taking my time until  I get inspired to be able to give as you deserve.  

Generally I am always busy with school, homework, and my job, so I may appear one moment and disappear the next, however, I have everything drafted and to be replied.

Don’t force a ship on me, I rather let it roll along and see where things go.

"Hm," Toby chuckled, "I've always been good at buttering people up." He wrote some of the president's best speeches. "Oh really? You've got cuffs around?" Toby grinned. "If I work this knot out, then maybe you can keep me all tied up."

"I'll have to set you up with your own little spa day, then." Perhaps she could get a little hit delivered to his door before he even got off the plane. "Mm, flatterer." He was quite talented at it, but Blaire could barely form a coherent sentence together with his hands on her like this, let alone a flirtatious one. "You're making it all the more tempting to handcuff you to the bed."

"Hm? I'm listening," Toby grinned when she choked on her words. "Yes, please I need access to your fountain of youth. Or maybe you're just an actual goddess," he sighed, laying it on thick but enjoying making her melt under his touch.

"One of my Beauty writers got me into K-beauty recently. All-natural ingredients...but an exhausting, multi-layered--" Her breath hitched when Toby's fingers kneaded into her shoulder. "I'm sure we can set you up with your own regimen, get you all dewy."

"I will be stealing some," Toby nodded, "And I'm extremely curious about your skincare routine because you're always somehow glowing. It's really not fair," he complimented. The sound of Blaire's high moan made Toby catch his breath. Just as he let his breath go he felt her fingers on his thigh sending shocks up his leg.

"I have an extra bottle somewhere, so feel free to take that one." For now, scents were one of the easiest ways for them to feel close despite the distance. Blaire hummed, the sound morphing into a soft, slightly-pained moan. Her cheeks warmed, hand reaching back until her fingers skimmed along the curve of his thigh. "Again, you're too sweet." She was starting to think herself incapable of keeping up.

"This lotion is like silk and smells fantastic, I want some," Toby mused as he worked his thumbs gently over her shoulder blade looking for tense spots then he'd press in harder, slowly gauging her reaction. "Let me know if it's too much." Toby chuckled, "Oh you're creative, I'll be happy with any bit of time I get with you."

"Oh, do they?" She rolled her shoulders back before settling down, folding her arms under her before resting her head. "Amoire," she said, nodding toward the small table covered in makeup and jewelry, perfume and lotion lined along the left side. "And how will I get to treat you?"

Toby adjusted, sitting up straighter as Blaire moved into his lap. He smiled against her lips tilting his chin up to meet her kiss. "Shoulders makes sense," he mused running his fingers up her back then ghosting his palms over her shoulders. When Blaire slipped her robe off he couldn't help but stare. "Mm, lotion?" he looked over to the night stand then leaned over to grab what she had close. Toby perched up on his knees and rubbed some lotion between his palms before running his hands up her back then over her shoulders.

Blaire arched a brow. "Oh, I have no doubt about that," she said, giving him a wily smile. Blaire set the bowls aside and climbed into his lap to press a soft kiss against his jaw, then lips. "Shoulders, I think," she said, returning to her side of the bed. She slid the robe off and tossed it onto the chair nearby, then stretched out across the bed on her stomach.

His eyebrows shot up and his tongue slid over his lips without thinking. "Mm, I think we can find plenty of ways to entertain each other," Toby grinned. "We could start with a little massage if you let me." He reached over and ran his hand over her thigh, "Where do you hold the most tension?"

"Next time, I won't shut you up with these lips, then," she teased, blue eyes dancing. Blaire popped a blueberry into her mouth and stretched out, bare legs soft against the silk sheets. "It's been so long since I've taken a day off that I nearly don't know what to do with myself," she admitted. "You'll have to tell me if you start getting bored."
