Yes!! Interaction time✨ you didn’t tell me which specific oc’s you want so I’m gonna do Leto and Anastasio instead ^w^ btw the black is Mervyn and red is Binky

Leto

“Leto does remind little bit like you, Binky. You two could get a long well since you guys like playing games. At first I hate him for being cold-hearted but I admit his games were very fun to play. Vynny! we should ask him to play with us next time instead of watching us almost get killed”

He likes Leto for sure. Vyn likes how adorable Leto’s mask is. He’ll throw his compliments at him how creative he design his mask to look like a puppet and the voice changing thing, regardless how scary it sounded he’d admired that idea. It was very cool for Vyn 👍✨ while Binky at first, wouldn’t like Leto a bit for the way he acted cold towards them and will start to hate him more if he brought up the things that he shouldn’t brought up without Vynny’s consent. By the time they woke up finding themselves in an escape room......

Vyn was actually astonished how the room looks! He wasn’t scared of any deadly weapons throws at him (that includes Binky) but he just praises them and giving out good feedbacks that Leto set up and had no problem solving it. They believe teamwork could conquer any obstacles so the two could actually pass all of them, smoothly. By the time they successfully got out, Binky wouldn’t forgive Leto for that (although he doesn’t want to tell him that he enjoys his game) but Vyn really much enjoyed the trip. He’d ask Leto to set up their escape room again but require more challenging the next time when Leto wanted to test him more. If he was in struggle to make an escape room for other students, Vyn wouldn’t mind helping him out by sharing everyone’s true weaknesses and phobia’s he have observed that Leto overlooked but in condition he won’t tell others it was Vyn. Vyn has respect on Leto being the good brother to Anastasio. It did reminded him of his late siblings and Binky in the past. Despite Leto being cold to him, he will keep treating Leto and Anastia with good respect and that same goes to Binky......if he tried

“Look Binky! you and Anastia shared the same blue and green heterochromia eyes and you guys acting like children! Isn’t it wonderful? why don’t you hangout with him? he’ll come to like you for being a fun dummy~ I do like him! he’s fun and all but......did you see him looking at me while holding a lighter earlier.......”

They don’t usually hangout Anastio but Mervyn and Binky likes how fun & energetic he was around. He and Binky also would enjoy laughing about his dark jokes especially his pranks. Every pranks that throws at him finds it fun as his brother’s games however IF one of them were offended to Vyn, he would kept himself silent then walks away as he clench his fist while Binky use his intense stare at him giving the message “we’re not friends anymore......” but not to worry until the next day, they were return to their usual selves, forgetting what was happening back then and become good friends again. Just don’t ever done it second time, ok?

If Anastia wants to scare Mervyn, his results wouldn’t get what he wanted since Vyn doesn’t have a fear and it’s a mystery if he has one. Even if use his method to detach body parts, he wouldn’t be scared at all. When his extreme tantrums happens, he’d quickly show Anastio his favorite puppet show he knows that has animal characters on it just to keep him in distraction for a while. To be honest his tantrums were kind of noisy to Vyn, he’d almost use his threats to make him stop but as long is Leto were there, he’d lower his scissors down. Vyn and Binky heard him saying he have seen the other side. The two got their attention on that and wants to hear more what it was like there just to prepare before they’re about to die some day

Story Hooks

Model: Starting out as a job to work off a debt, Vynnie now regular models for Iskandar Reza, whether in shows, or just by showing off the Thavnairian’s various designs. Outwardly, he will bemoan his profession to certain people to save face, but it’s clear that he enjoys the lifestyle.

Dancer: Along with modeling, Vynnie is a dance student of Iska’s, and works very hard at the art- using the Thavnairian martial art as his primary form of combat. Interested in keeping a tough guy composure to those he’s not close to, he often runs off to various secluded locations to practice his dances in the sun with the hope of not being seen unless he wants. In that same vein, he uses this method of combat when he goes hunting and can sometimes be found felling beasts with chakrams and intricate, magical dances.

Aspiring Summoner: Ever anxious about his abilities to survive and protect those he cares for, Vynnie has sought out a mentor for arcanima with the ultimate goal of learning the art of summoning. He has recently found a mentor in Rinha’li Dhavha, but is likely to search for more information on the ancient allagan art should the curiosity find him.

Former Yakuza: After a brief, yet troubled, period of time, Vynnie has finally managed to escape the yakuza life. This is recent, and so he still is paranoid of the repercussions, so he is constantly on edge. He does his best to avoid running into former colleagues, or even sketchy locales in general- at least until the heat dies down. However, he has a very eastern tattoo of a viper that isn’t always covered, and he’s likely to be quite recognizable with his eyes, as well. It wouldn’t be unheard of for him to be spotted by some gangster/criminal, amicable or otherwise.

Other: Vynnie has lots of hobbies, and likes to hunt in different places. I am down for any hooks you might have- even if they seem left field, hit me up and we can chat about the plausibility!

What I’m Looking For

I like to think that Vynnie is a complex character, and is adaptable to many themes. I am not looking to get him involved in super evil criminal stuff at the moment, as he just got out of that and I do not like writing Vynnie, specifically, in that environment. However, writing him as an anti-hero, or antagonist to some more evil characters isn’t off the table. Pettier crimes like thievery and what not, is totally cool. I don’t mind any theme, from slice of life to darker/mature, to adventurous ones. I just ask that whatever is desired of my character and me as the writer are communicated from the beginning. Vynnie has a lot of romantic ships, currently, so another isn’t going to happen without a long drawn out plot. I ask that all of my RP partners be 18+ to avoid any awkwardness! I like to RP in game, mostly, but if you want to RP in Discord, I ask that you please be patient with me as I am quite terrible at it and cannot allocate the energy for consistent replies unless I get to do a sit down session! Erolvur is a Faroese name which doesn’t have a specific meaning on its own, but if you continue to follow it to its routes it’s a combination of two Old Norse names that essentially translate to Warrior Wolf, or Wolf Warrior.

Q1 : If you could write your character your way in their own movie,  what would it be called, what style would it be filmed in, and what would it be about?          

A1 :  I’m... not good at this kind of question. Uhhh, I don’t have an answer for that, because I have no idea.

Q2 : What would their soundtrack/score sound like?          

A2 : Bouncy fun Celtic/folk music. Something you can dance to, something that brings a smile to your face. The kind of music that implies a sense of wonder. I also really like the word whimsical with Eivør.

Q3 :  Why did you start writing this character?          

A3 :  I have spent the last five or so years writing very dark and political characters. Some of which were very evil and cruel. I wanted someone friendly and sociable, someone people wouldn’t hate.

Q4 :  What first attracted you to this character?          

A4 : I’ve wanted Viera to be a playable race in FF14 for the longest time. 12 is the only Final Fantasy game I actually have, and Fran was my favorite character in that game, and I adored the Viera. So being able to make one was obviously the first thing I loved. Secondly, I kind of just put her together in the benchmark and found I liked her design. It was pretty, but simplistic. Something I could work off of.

Q5 : Describe the biggest thing you dislike about your muse.

A5 : I think it’s less Eivør in specific and more I wish there was more concrete 14-lore for the Viera. I’ve gleaned things in-game, but what little I have is based off the 12 lore and interactions through NPCs and quests in Shadowbringers on the First.

Q6 :  What do you have in common with your muse?          

A6 :  I also love the stars and moon, and I love hanging out in the woods at night (though it’s been a very long time since I could). I also am apparently pretty friendly or something.

Q7 :  How does your muse feel about  you?          

A7 :   I’m not sure. She’d be okay, I guess? Other than a recent plotline she’s had it pretty good.

Q8 :  What characters does your muse have interesting interactions with?        

A8 :  At the moment her most interesting interactions are with her FWB/Partner/Best Friend/Boyfriend?????? Dragomir which is hilarious in and out of character. They have really great conversations, and it gives me a character that I can build Eivør’s backstory with because they’re still in the ‘getting to know you’ phase of their friendship.

Q9 :  What gives you inspiration to write your muse?        

A9 : Dance gifs/videos, certain music that suits her aesthetic, forest vibes, it doesn’t take a lot to put me in the mood to write for her.

Q10 : How long did this take you to complete?          

A10 : Oh shit I didn’t know this was going to be a question I didn’t keep track. Not accounting for when my internet died for like over two hours and I couldn’t really do any kind of research to get some of the answers, maybe.. a little over an hour? I even took the time to take the Myers-Briggs test for her. The tropes thing took me the longest, to be honest. I know nothing about tropes.

Story Hooks

Yakuza: Thanks to reckless, childhood behavior, Vynnie owes a debt to the lord of a bosozoku. He is by no means happy about this occupation, but he carries out the tasks given to him for his and his sister’s safety. This includes thievery, larceny, mugging, smuggling, murder, et cetera. He doesn’t really hide his gang tattoos, though, and their eastern design is a dead giveaway to those in the know.

Scrappy Boy: The guy has an intense love for the sport of fighting. Underground fighting rings, bar brawls, sparring, you name it. He’s always down to tussle, and will almost always accept a challenge.

Mercenary: He is always looking for work to help pay off his debt (and supplement his addiction.) If any shady employers need info on someone, or need someone shaken down- Vynnie’s your guy!

Biker: When his bike isn’t in the the shop, Vynnie can be found riding it throughout Thanalan at top speeds. He likes the adrenaline rush of going fast, and despite the loud ass noises that his bike makes, he finds it very meditative.

Bar Crawler: Vynnie and his twin are big fans of going out and drinking. Even beyond just meeting them in the bar, perhaps you’d recognize his face on the street if your character also frequents the same bars.

Samurai Vigilante: Due to his extreme distaste for his affiliation, he has begun to practice his swordsmanship by attempting to assassinate other known yakuza gang members who show no remorse for what they do. (This is a plot in development, ask if you’d like more info!)

14. What do they care deeply about? What kind of loyalties, commitments, moral codes, life philosophies, passions, callings, or spirituality and faith do they have? How do these tend to be expressed?

That’s a tough one. I almost feel cheap falling back on a given - her brother. She doesn’t show it too well, but a lot of her guilt isn’t just survivor’s guilt or the like...it’s knowing that her own reckless involvement in rebellious activity cost not just her, but him. He lost a sister, and she lost a lot of her youth, and innocence.

She feels like a crap sister, and was kind of trying to be a sister to Kini in the end...and that’s part of why she feels so bad about what happened - and why she’s a little uncomfortable with Kye ( @rukaen ) saying he thinks of her as a sister...she doesn’t think she’s very good sister material. She wants to look out for @miqo-vynnie, but comes down too hard with criticism, and only seems capable of backhanded praise. She pushes him, because she feels like she lost the best parts of herself, but he hasn’t - and she wants him to live a long, happy life...something she just doesn’t see for herself. She sets a high bar for him, and pushes a little too hard, sometimes.

A lot of those fall into similar categories - loyalties, commitments, moral codes, and philosophies. She’s...shockingly loyal, and that’s got roots twisted in a strange sort of moral code, I guess? For all that she likes chaos, she likes order where business is concerned - you give, she gives. A fair trade is a fair trade, and she keeps her deals/commitments. Loyalty is...earned. If she were in a game like Bioware does, she’d probably have some perk that like, once you’ve gotten 50%+ on rep, it degrades slower/is harder to lose ground with her. It is, in my mind, quite difficult to reach that point. Being there for her, and not judging her in her difficult moments, goes a real long way to cementing in her mind that you deserve loyalty in kind. It jars her out of her nihilistic gloom a bit, when people are like ‘no seriously, look - there’s meaning in things.’ She just needs some SHOVING to get there.

Her philosophy would probably boil down to the notion that the world is ‘dog eat dog.’ It’s every man for himself, and that the nature of man - in his various forms - is, inherently, selfish. 

Passions! Piano is absolutely quickly becoming one - it fascinates her, and she’s quick to be lost in the music. She likes drawing, but she’d probably not call it a passion (though I would). Cooking is a BIG one that she really enjoys, but doesn’t share all that often.

Spirituality/faith - my headcanon about her tribe is rather Native American, I suppose, in how they would tell tales of the Jackal, and other beasts as these deific figures. So, the Jackal ends up becoming this sort of...demi-god, or lesser god figure that she looks up to. If you played Battle for Azeroth at all, my version of the Jackal is a lot like Jani. A scavenger god of trash, of secrets...and of unwanted things. The Jackal is a lot like that, for her - they represent a godlike hero figure, in a sense: the Jackal is the ultimate survivor in a harsh world. She heard lots of stories about how the Jackal survived, as a child, and used those tales to give her faith when times were at their worst. She discarded the parts of her she didn’t need, and asked the hard question: What would the Jackal do? It’s the only real semblance of religion in her life, though. The Twelve sure as hell didn’t help her when she was a prisoner of war - the Jackal’s teachings did, though. (GARBAGE CAT GARBAGE GOD I GUESS. :P)

Her expressions of most of these are sometimes not easy to catch? - when she cares, even if it sounds like she’s being rude...she’s showing interest in you and it might seem subtle to the rest of the world, but that’s loud in her little corner of things. If you offer up some deep dark secret - she will too. You give...she gives. Trust comes in degrees, and she’s bad at taking the first step. But when she takes steps to confide things at all, it’s a big leap of faith for her ( if, again, somewhat subtle over all). Like a cat, it’s a lot of understated gestures, until she’s comfortable.
