If my muses were the days of the four seasons:

Eastwood is a bright Summer day, hot, umid and lazy, perfect to be sitting outside while listening to music and eating watermelon popsicles and drinking your favourite cold juice, reminds of childhood nostalgia and dreams, the day fills you with energy and makes you want to do something while inviting to do nothing, makes you understand that doing nothing is doing something, even though most will never understand it, you can feel and almost touch your childhood self while going through this day, recognizing that opening up to yourself is just as important as everything else you do to get by.

Clint is a soothing Spring night, slightly cold, with flower buds still closed, some fireflies flying near the leaves, festivals, fireworks, shy laughters, cottom candy and some tea, there's an innate calm you can feel bloom inside, like a natural wisdom that comes with aging, just something that makes you more resilient to the amount of times life bashes you down, you know renew will come very soon.

Virgil is a cozy Winter day-off, good to stay inside, drinking hot coccoa with your favourite book, wrapped in comfy duvets or in a pillow fortress, pumpkin candy, funny pajamas, long and meaningful conversations through instant messengers, it's like finding a strange bunker from the chaos outside while still being connected to it, you know the peace and all that happens during this day are your doing.

Dante is a nice and slow Fall morning, perfect to wake up, slowly prepare your coffee and appreciate the moments of silence while doing it, plan the day's activities without much compromise, write down a list of things that need to be bought, do some stretching exercise, gather the good vibes for the day, there's a sense of maturity in getting ready while following a routine and appreciating it, a feeling of inner understanding and growth.

Isolde is a warm and funny Fall afternoon with friends, you know you'll be heard regardless of how stupid you might sound, there will be long walks down the streets to get to your favourite cafe and in the way you'll take detours just because the two of you are having a lot of fun window shopping, the scent of spices usually stays for a while after the afternoon is over and you need to go back home, but you know that to live it all again is a matter of giving one call.

Keos is a warm Summer night with a cloudless sky, stars and shooting stars, you know the day might've been lame, tiring and sluggish, but the night brings and air or refreshment and hope for a better next day and assurance that if you work hard enough for your dreams you'll get it, there's just something magical in it that gives you hope and moves you forward regardless of how hard it is to move on.

》》》》》 one of the hardest things I still need to work on with my muses: their genetic mods in post-war AUs.

Not that it makes a lot of difference in the grand scheme of things, but I believe none of the boys ever counted with the small chance of surviving through everything and actually going back to a normal life and the chance to start a family of their own or just getting to be themselves without thinking much about the consequences.

As for an example, all of them have their genes modified to age slower. We can all see the consequences of this on Dante, who has the looks of an young adult, but it's way deep into his forty-something years old. He feels the pressure of the responsibility and the difference in how he sees the world, there's a certain detachment in his actions and how he sees himself compared to everyone else up to the point where he believes a normal life for him is almost impossible.

Now, imagine this with Eastwood and how such thing can affect his life and relationship with Astra and his s/o. The simple concept that he'll probably see his son grow up and die, and he will still look like a guy in his early thirties is something that's painful; add to it the sense that's just plain wrong, unnatural, and it may become reason for him to turn back into being a wanderer once all is said and done. Imagine the terrible realization not only from his part, but from those around him that there's something off with Eastwood.

These are just two examples, but... that's something I wanted to put out here, because these are small details that are important to take in consideration when having a thread with my boys, and that I need to expand and have very small time to do.

A headcanon for my muses sex quirks

Eastwood: Sex can be done anywhere and everywhere, he gives no mind to when or where as long as there’s a mutual love and understanding that both will need to take responsibility if they’re caught.

Clint: highly attracted to huge cocks. He likes to play with them and will do it whenever he’s allowed to if there’s no space for sex.

Virgil: despite his usual meek behavior, being even a little shy at times, Virgil is wild in bed. He can start slow, but be sure that by the end the bed will be hitting that wall and the neighbors will hear what’s going on.

When the other demons came up with the idea of a thematic party and handed him a bunny costume -- a sexy one -- Dante thought it was, perhaps, some sort of sick joke from his peers; they knew he didn’t like to be exposed like that, but no, it was no joke and soon enough the albino was forced into the costume.

It didn’t look bad on him, Dante had more delicate traces on his face and the slim waist accentuated by the tight clothes made him look a lot like a girl, more than he would ever like to admit. The jet-black corset sticked to his body, the fishnet stockings left his legs more than exposed and the red high heels didn’t do much for his height as much as it did for his ass, that now was perked-up; fake bunny ears were placed over his head and were somewhat uncomfortable as they got in the way of his magically erased horns, but he endured it for the sake of keeping the appearances. Then, the cherry on top of it all was his hair, that always was down, Clint made him wear it on a high bun, which left his slim and pale neck on sight for everyone to see it.

If asked, he would deny his liking for the cross-dressing activity, in fact, he’d deny it until the end of his days in every possible existence, but he enjoyed himself in those clothes, they empowered him.

“You should close your mouth, Jasper.” The albino commented and used the pen he had in hands to close the brunette’s mouth that hung open for good ten seconds so far. “Before you eat a fly.” And like that he went on to see if other patrons were in need of something and check on the booked ones for the night... downright being a tease for the young man who usually came around to try and have his way with Dante.

Modern Mo Dao Zu Shi AU

So… after much thought I came to the conclusion that I won’t be able to wrap my head around the whole concept of old China and it’s culture without proper study first and therefore I won’t risk trying to bring up an AU based on Mo Dao Zu Shi in its own timeline. it will come later when I have a better grasp of all the culture and tradition of the time.

To solve this problem the solution was create a parallel for the story’s main scenarios in modern times with the clans still existing and working the same way, but with more modern concepts and a less pompous take.

They still have quite a heavy influence in exorcising demons, ghosts, ghouls, wraiths etc, however, their recognition by society was reduced and the clans and Cloud Recesses are now seen as rich families and exclusive schools for the boys that are called in (families doesn’t send their kids to the Cloud Recesses anymore, they are picked by the masters and trained if their Golden Core is considered powerful enough).

Their weapons evolved with time, the sword is still the traditional weapon for them together with charms to ward off bad energy that summons the monsters and exorcise them; however, the kind of blades changed and aren’t limited in size anymore and the charms can take many shapes to fit better with their summoner’s personality and style,bows and arrows can be switched for firearms, although many still prefer the traditional ways with the projectiles in a way of paying respect to the traditions and the romantic side it brings to the image of their bearer. As for the magic artifacts that take shape in the form of music instruments, they would be up to the bearer choice as well, but most would take an approach for those that doesn’t catch too much attention around and can have an easy and fast assemble.

As for the uniforms, I believe their primary colors would keep being the same, but the insignias for the clans would be donned in less obvious ways, becoming part of details in the embroidery and buttons. The layers of clothing could be switched for coats and long coats made of a slightly heavy fabric, but not so much as a real coat, and with different cuts that help in the fighting style of each clan/school and cover some of the weapons they carry, so it doesn’t get in their way while walking along common folk.

As for the magic/rituals to seal the evils summoned by the gathering of dark energy, the boys would take a more discrete take and try to avoid getting the attention of absolutely everyone as the knowledge of the existence of so many evils can cause quite the trouble if people with no knowledge about it try to forcefully gather said energy. They would try to seal places where this energy gathers more easily and conserve the protective charms of these areas. Like in the past the priority is to keep the living safe and, when possible, give closure to the souls that caused trouble with their anger, obsession and so on.

Their main goal went from hunting the evils summoned by dark energy to contain possible disasters caused by it and destroy the sources when necessary all the while protecting the common folk and keeping as much of a low profile as they can.

I decided to keep my muses in the same formation I keep them in the Starfighter Comic Universe in order to make it somewhat easier for me and maintain the idea that only the most experienced members of the Clans would work alone, but even still need to team up at times. So all of my muses can be seen together or alone, but there’s a certain level of camaraderie between them at all times; their behavior is more of a family one than of students from different births.

With this said here are some of the basics:

Eastwood: he isn’t the most skilled of the group, but it’s the most resilient and with more training in different techniques of exorcism, Eastwood is notable for his capacity to improvise when needed. He’ll always try to give closure to souls before going straight for the exorcism and prioritize the protection of the living before anything else, going as far as acting like a lunatic in order to shoo away the common citizens around. His primary weapon is a greatsword and the secondary is a set of daggers, Eastwood is more into the rough battle, not making so much use of charms. His magic artifact is a bracelet with a cherry blossom pendant and bell on it, the bell’s ring isn’t made to paralyze evil, but to attract it to him, so they can be executed.

Virgil: the most skilled of the group, a master swordsman and owner of the strongest energy around the boys, which he channels through his violin or guitar. Virgil’s music serves to sooth the spirits and hold them in place for as long as possible until the other boys of the group can come around and ease them to the other side or execute them, however, it has a momentary paralyzing effect that can be used by him to take out some of the evil. Due to his muteness and nimbleness, Virgil usually goes around unnoticed by common people, but he doesn’t try to hide his presence, just the silence turned a second nature for him. His main weapon is a set of daggers he carries, sometimes he uses one dagger and sword, when he needs range Virgil prefer to use a riffle over the traditional bow and arrows, however, he’s still very good with the traditional weapon. His magic artifact is a jade earring he wears on his right ear at all times and is said to amplify his hearing range.

Clint: unlike his counterpart, Eastwood, Clint doesn’t like to fight in close range and he respects the traditions as a form of keeping an honorable basis to his life story, thus his main weapon turned to be the bow and arrows. He can both use traditional arrows imbued with his energy or conjure some with it, which causes immense exhaustion if used for too long. Clint’s always worried about the common folk and wish he could do more for them, but knows there’s a limitation to what men can do alone and only hopes that one day the balance will be restored and the dead be left dead, this kind of thinking compels him to always be helping others and be the wisest one when it comes to common manners and behaviors of the group. His magic artifact is a delicate golden chain with three small pearls connected by it that he wears as a double looped collar and serves to amplify his voice when he evokes the mantras to conjure his barriers.

Dante: the lore keeper of the group. He’s the one who knows the most about the traditions and rituals as well as charms. Dante has a short sword imbued with mantras he can evoke during encounters with evils, but most of his prowess resides in his knowledge and balance when using magic and charms. He’s able to tap into both dark and light arts and not be affected by both, keeping an always impartial sight over the situations. Dante is the one who usually goes around placing charms to ward off evil spirits. He isn’t so concerned for the balance of the living and dead, believing it’s just the natural course of things, however, he takes concern when the dead are forcefully risen when they were asleep and in some level of peace. A tear shaped lapis azuli pendant is his magic artifact and helps him channel healing energy that serves both to purify and heal others.

Dante smiled maniacally and adjusted the mask over his face. "We don't know if they have any sort of contagious virus or substance in their bodies or any other particularly peculiar and aggressive trait to humans."

There was something to the Elite Navigator and scientist that showed how incredibely excited he was about that dead alien body they brought in and, certainly, it wasn't all that normal of a behavior for anyone who had any survival instinct.

"Before I forget..." The albino turned to Europa and pointed her to his datapad. "Third folder, top to botttom and right to left. That's the one you're suppose to copy the files from and take to Keeler, it's the latest translations and decodes we managed to pull out of the fried system we got last time some Colteron ship was salvaged."

The albino looked at Jasper’s size and just let out a soft laughter before he thought of what to answer.

“I’ve seen bigger.” He finally responded and gave the head a kiss before looking up at those hungry gray eyes that pierced his gaze. “But it’s a good size to give me all the pleasure I can get... I won’t tire too early in the night.” Dante dragged his tongue over the slit and gave Jasper a small suckle there. “It’s perfect, babe~”

"Do you ever get the feeling that something terrible is going to happen?" Soleil twisted her cup around, underneath her hand. She kept her eyes trained on it. She didn't know why she was sharing her anxieties with another person like this, but it made her feel better, at least in the moment. Perhaps the person she was talking to didn't care, give her an attitude for telling them this, but she didn't mind. She was a little too old to be in this situation anyways, despite her appearance.

He didn’t give a shit for whatever made the girl ask that and, in all honesty, couldn’t care any less if she was going through tough times or not. He wanted a good and relaxing time in the bar and nothing else, being the support shoulder for a stranger was far from any close to his plans.

If you feel like this, perhaps you should consider having a moment of introspection and reviewing your behavior and words towards others before inquiring the world on the chance of something similar be felt by them.”

💯 What is my muse’s ideal date?

Virgil prefers something more intimate. A homemade dinner or just watching a movie while sharing the same blanket and eating from the same bowl of popcorn with his special one is enough to make him happy and think it to be the best date ever. Any simple idea of date is good for him. Elaborated ideas makes Virgil nervous as they remind him of his time as a companion for richer people and he dislikes to feel the pressure of needing to impress others when he should be having a nice.           Bonus points if the person gets Virgil drunk. He’s light weight and will get horny af.

Dante is fond of all of the refinement one can provide during their dates. Preparation and thoughtfulness can take the person very far with him and he’s a man to recognize the effort put on all that was done and answer to the level. He will judge everything, from clothes, to cologne, to the ambient to what food was ordered and if the drink mix up well with the ordeal. The pressure is Dante’s way of measuring if the person is really up to the task of having him or not and will always answer accordingly, specially if he knows the other doesn’t have experience in dates of such kind or comes from a more simple origin; he won’t bash for the mistakes, only point them out discretely and politely correct them while assuring all it’s fine. By the end of the night, he will also compensate the person who invited him and there is a chance for them to spend the night together.

Eastwood enjoys the high life of the night  and the groove on the lime. His ideal date is a good night of fun and drinking. Take him to a fair, amusement park, club, or absolutely any place where both parts can have fun together, laugh, tease and just have a good time without needing to worry too much for etiquette or privacy. For him, more important than all the romance and lovey-dovey of a date is for both parts to have a good time together and be able to just enjoy what they like together. Once all is good and done, then the whole mushy part can start and, because Eastwood has a high sexual drive, if his partner wish for, they can go somewhere to have their private fun by the end of the night.

💘 What are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it?

Virgil usually can’t say much because he’s mute, even though he can be quite the chatterbox if engaged in an instant messengers conversations; to go over his voiceless life, he makes sure to be around those he loves and can be quite the touchy starved kind of person when he’s in love, hugs, kisses, public displays of affection, he uses all of everything in his reach to show his feelings… even if he grows extremely embarrassed and timid when doing so.

Dante isn’t one for speaking his feelings in a general way, nor to show them as well. He likes to live in his corner and be left alone there without being bothered. However, if he loves someone, he will open up – albeit slowly – to this special person and want to spend more time with them, open time in his busy schedule to meet them at every chance and, once he feels comfortable enough, can even start seeking some small displays of affection, like holding hands or hugging once in a while.

Eastwood is all out with his feelings and there isn’t much he do different. He’ll be a little more attentive and notice small details though, making sure to remind his special someone to take care of their health, cooking more often for them, pay attention to their words instead of just glancing over them etc. Eastwood can also become a little jealous at times too – because he never had a lasting relationship and the line between friendship and love is extremely blurry to him, things can be interpreted in the wrong way and he can get a little over his head at times.

Dante was extremely professional during working hours, avoided any sort of confrontation with the younger Navigator despite having a sort of quarrel with him when out of the Bridge, laboratories or virtual training. He never brought out the problems in their somewhat antagonistic relationship while working. Never.

"Porthos, may I ask you something?" The albino inquired in a low voice and looked up. "Did Virgil do something wrong to you? He's been restless, and the last time he showed this kind of behavior, it was because he accidentally hurt a friend of his."

It was the first time ever he broke the silent protocol he imposed to his own actions and asked Porthos in such a direct way. Dante proved how much he worried about his assigned Fighter, but also displayed a certain degree of concern for the younger Navigator. He cared for the young men, even if no words or actions openly expressed it.

3.do they take baths or showers? do they prefer one over the other?

Virgil and Eastwood prefer to have showers, they are faster and more practical, no wasting time or resources while in space. Dante prefers baths as it helps him relax and he’s quite fond of scented salts.

7. do they wake up groggy or alert? do they like mornings?

Virgil has a very light sleep and wakes up at any small noise, which makes him wake up very alert every single time. Eastwood wakes up kind of slow, but hardly ever groggy as he was trained to be always alert. Dante and his bad sleeping schedule is the one to always take the longest to wake up and is 99.9% of the time as groggy as can be, almost like he had a full bottle of any alcoholic drink until he has his first cup of coffee of the day.

8. what do they sleep in? pj’s, normal clothes, nothing?

If allowed, Virgil will sleep only on his underwear or naked under the blankets, clothes simply makes his sleep even harder. Dante wears an oncee. Eastwood likes to sleep on his underwear and tank-top or the first shirt he finds around and despises sleeping with socks on.

9. what do they smell like? do they use perfume or cologne?

Virgil smells of sweetened coffee more often than not due to his presence always around Dante, who has a mixed smell of energetic drinks and coffee around him, or cinnamon. Eastwood usually smells of the food he was cooking for his squadron mates during morning or whatever scent there is on the soap and shampoo provided by the Federate Alliance to its Fighters.
