last place you traveled: Like, traveled traveled? Went to San Francisco with my tías and a couple of my cousins a little while back! We toured Alcatraz and it was very interesting. My hips gave out once we got back to our lodgings though. My hips hurt easy and there are so many stairs and inclines in the island and in the actual prison itself. But the view across the bay of Fisherman's Wharf is very beautiful after dark. I love being on boats. :3

Celerity because heehee gotta go fast. I also think Dementation is kinda funny because you're really rubbing your derangement off on people. You know what? I'm actually having a hard time picking one because they're all so cool. Visualizing and writing the use of any discipline really just tickles my brain. I have so much fun with it. But Celerity and Dementation are top 2 for sure.

5. What's your least favourite clan? Why?

Without going into the ancient text of older editions' handling of Certain Clans? Probably Ventrue if only because I feel like it's common for them to just be some guy. I feel like within at least White Wolf's official stuff, it always just some suave Camarilla guy in a suit that the ladies love. You know how the DND community has jokes about people who play Human Fighters? I feel like SOME (hard on the SOME because seemingly outside the tumblr community it's more common) Ventrue are almost an equivalent.

Within the scope of fan-made content or my friends' OCs, I'm their biggest fans! I think with how often official content goes along with the stereotypes of Ventrue makes the player characters in our community all the more flavorful. These guys have so much more sauce than the characters you'll find in official material. More Ventrue need to be odd little freaks and/or losers. Give me a sleazeball Ventrue who sells poorly flipped houses or "refurbished" used cars that are a stiff breeze from falling apart. Make them weirder. Make them more cringefail.

Saw Nosferatu.... would like to see it again. Actually psychosexual nightmare in the exact way I wanted. If you like Werner Herzog's version and are down for something like that, I recommend it. It's truly a beautiful nightmare like the 1979 version and the look and soundtrack were reminiscent of it as well.

I also don't recommend seeing with family. I had no choice but to but we had a "We're all adults here" conversation the night before. I do recommend checking the Does The Dog Die page for it because there are a lot of undertones and themes as well as some on-screen stuff that may be triggering or upsetting for some. Just beware of spoilers if you're trying to dodge them.

I know Nosferatu is just the best Dracula ripoff ever made and we all probably know the story by now but there are some unique themes and plot beats put into this version.

ST to some, player to others. I'm in a play-by-post and I run my own. I had a voice call based game as well but scheduling and timezones became really difficult! Which is unfortunate but expected with running TTRPGs. But in between, I read through some of the novels and comics as well as played some of the games.

3. I prefer V5 because I have an easier time approaching it. It's a lot more beginner friendly so I don't need to be coaching players all the time especially in PBP context where we're all functioning on different timezones. Also less racism. That said, I do like V20 aesthetics and merits, flaws, bloodlines, and disciplines a bit more so I allow them in games I run.

4. Malkvians because I'm a really normal guy. In all seriousness, I think them having this odd and frightening mysticism just has such a big grip on me. I have my obvious complaints about older versions of Malkavians as well as the dreaded unironic fishmalk. But when I encountered the Voermans for the first time, my brain just latched onto them.

They were very much the initial inspiration for me. Reading through the corebook, I just knew I had to play one and thus proto-Coyote was born. It's really funny because I only really have two Malkavians that I play. I have a lot of Tzimisce which I think are my second favorite. I love the horror of transformation and love some Cronenbergian body horror.

8. The great thing about VTM is that you can roll a critical at terrible times. It is a game in which you are very likely to have a moment in which you utter "Please roll badly. Please give me a total failure." One of which was when Morgan (Prism's Gangrel) rolled a Bestial Failure in our first Chronicle.

We were interrogating a Nosferatu suspecting he had stolen some Tremere tomes we were tasked with getting back. It's been a really long time now so I can't remember exactly what happened but Morgan beat the shit outta the poor guy. His beast flared up and he had him pinned up against the wall and then Prism had to roll for grappling and got a crit. AFTER WE WERE ALL SAYING "PLEASE DON'T ROLL A CRIT".

If there's one thing about the dice gods, it's that they get a kick out of cruelty. So the poor guy got whaled on by this massive Gangrel. We got out information and were banned from the sewers for some time after that after the Nosferatu Warlord walked in on us. Everybody say sorry, Marley! (Sorry, Marley!)

9. Outside of the VNs and video games, I like a few of the novels and could recommend some of them is you can stomach… the old stuff. House of Secrets and Netherworld are pretty good ones! Netherworld much more so. And of course the Schrodinger's World of Darkness series of Sonja Blue (LOOK INTO CONTENT WARNINGS FIRST. GOOD LORD.) She's not WoD, but she has the vibes, OH LOOK SHE'S WoD IN THIS ONE, she's got a V:TES card (why is she Ventrue? Her ass is NOT Ventrue. That's a Caitiff), but now she's not WoD

BIRD! Anyway, Winter's Teeth is good. I got my hands on the omnibus recently for cheap and I'm enjoying it a lot so far. I will say that it feels just the tiniest bit detached from the lore in a way I can't fully explain. But it is a alright reference point for how Camarilla politics work and maybe a little bit of insight as to how some Anarchs could be.

11. Not including NPCs? At least nine. I have the Warrens who are my Anarch Tzimisce: Carolina, Ruben, Rhiannon, and Fausta. My Sabbat: a Tzimisce named Lemmy and my Malkavian Maiken. My Abstract Toreador, Jewel. And my House Ipsissimus Tremere who is Desdenova. Also Coyote, you guys know this one.

…I'll play a Camarilla someday. I prommy.

12. Coyote lol. And they're the one I latched onto the most. That said, their earliest iteration is way different from the original both in looks and personalities. I have a screenshot of TS4 of proto-Coyote is out there somewhere, it is quite curse.

13. You guys know this one... I think what really got me latched onto them was the fact that they were just really different from the characters I had been writing in the long term before. I love my other OCs but they was very little wiggle room for silliness. Coyote gets to be super silly but also deathly serious.

14. My oldest player character in-universe would be Ruben who is a 213 year old ancilla and Jewel who is a 24 year old fledgling. I think she would initially charm him somewhat. She disguises herself as a wealthy classy woman which Ruben appreciates. But I think she'd get sick of it and go full weirdgirl scammer on him and he'd be like Eugh.

15. Lemmy and I are both short, crybabies who love terrible movies. Cici and I both love gothic Victorian interior design. Coyote and I have similar taste in music as well as a similar cultural background. We both grew up in the same parts of Los Angeles and ended up moving to more rural places in our tweens.

16. Not really. I would say all my character were all created with something in mind. I guess Coyote was initially comedic relief but then they went off the rails some. But I think that was from me being very nervous about playing a TTRPG for the first time in ages and cracking dumb jokes was just what I did.

17. Can I say none of them? Because all their existences kinda suck beyond a way that's mundane and I don't think I have dealing with the World of Darkness in me 😭. Gun to my head, maybe Jewel? She at least gets to live in the city I've always wanted to but being a fledgling sucks. I don't know if I have her cunning to get away with being a scam artist. Next I guess would be Fausta??? Being stuck at 16 forever sucks, having to cope with the fact I'd never grow up or be allowed to do anything on my own sucks, but at least I'd be cared for and get to have all the hobbies I'd want.

18. …Coyote would probably land me in jail but also I think they'd make me be less of a chicken about the things I'm a chicken about. I feel like if Coyote were to take my place, they'd have me start a gang of biker outlaws. Also they'd play my short stature up for comedy, the bastard. But out of all of them? Coyote for sure.

19. Probably Daria. I'm still figuring a lot of thing out about her. She's appeared primarily in my California-base Chronicles so I think she's from Oakland and tells everybody she's from San Francisco. Her concept is that she was a 2010s nail influencer on Youtube, she met up with an online friend who turned out to be a Cleopatra.

Sylvia is her sire's name who saw Daria's face reveal and line of nail products and general success… and took it kinda personally. She was a supermodel in the 90s who got embraced at the height of her career so she was definitely bitter. They're sorta Best Frenemies.

Daria's got chronic batface so she gets around Masquerade problems by wearing burn garments from head to toe but dresses very Y2K in private. She's still a nail technician among Kindred. Like Coyote for example. She also gives me older daughter of three vibes.

20. I watch a lotta movies. So there's a lot of movie influence in my characters. Each character kinda has a genre I've attached them to. So the Warren's and Desdenova are tied to giallo, Coyote to grindhouse action-horror, Lemmy and Maiken to exploitation/shock horror. Also little bits of philosophies that I've picked up throughout the years.

Hey. Thank you guys for being patient about me stilling harping on about this. I hate doing drafts out of order but I'm a little overwhelmed with that I've got here paired with stuff I got cooking in the play-by-post . I don't wanna drop anything because I'm invested in all of them 😭.
