I’ve had this URL saved for a long time now ; I figured that Daigo’s birthday ( Jan. 3 ) was a great day to make the switch. Also, I want to give a huge shout - out to @beargraphs​ ! I commissioned Han to make a new theme and graphics for me in honor of my URL change, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new imagery for their blog. It was a positively lovely experience to work with them !

I have been thinking of making this post for a while but I think it's finally time

I'll probably stop posting on this account, and I'm taking a step back from the twst rp community. thank you everyone for all the fun we had, and for letting me experience something I had never done before, while also exploring a character in depth

also yes, this means I'll be unfollowing a lot of ppl I didn't interact with much

Doing a little plotting but...got a real angst au for everyone. This takes a large chunk from my canon divergent lore for the cell arc as well.

During the cell arc, when Goku recovered, there was a lingering in the back of his mind, like something in him was warning him of something. He and Gohan trained the full amount, not coming out early because despite the fact Gohan could take on cell? Goku didn't want his son fighting Cell, he knew his son wasn't a fighter, didn't have the thrill for it. Thus Goku pushed himself, it was almost enough. Except when they tried to give him a senzu bean Cell stole it and broke Goku's ribs, trapping him underfoot and slowly making him choke to death on his own blood. The sight of his father in such a state sent Gohan into a frenzy, only pulled from the rage of ssj2 by Goku's desperate pleas. Gohan managed to deal with the cell juniors before they could sow chaos, thus this allowed Goku to get a senzu bean and recover from near death. He didn't waste any time in joining his son in the fight, ultimately with Cell spitting out 18 and being killed before he could self destruct. Peace at last. Right? However going home back to his family, Goku still felt that nagging feeling for a while. During the time that Chi-Chi was carrying Goten, he noticed that her health was beginning to deteriorate. Chi-Chi was sick. The pregnancy was brutal on her weakening body despite Goku's best efforts to help alongside his friends. It was only a few months after Goten had been born that the son family lost something that could never be gained back. A day that a piece of Son Goku died with his wife. His friends rushed to support him, Bulma tried her best to help. But everyone could tell that Goku wasn't the same after Chi-Chi passed away. He still trained to protect his family but now he was also juggling other things as well. Getting Gohan into school, providing for Goten? Goku barely has any free time to himself, the early years of Goten's childhood were especially rough. There is grief that still lies deep within his heart. Which allowed Babidi to control him for a brief period of time, just enough for Buu to revive. This surge of power forced much of Goku's latent power to the surface and he ended up triggering SSJ3. Most of the buu arc plays out the same from there on. Except Goku ended up making a new house, the memories of the one built with Chi-Chi are too much for him to handle to keep living there. He ends up making a home much akin to his solo verse. Due to being an architect he actually gets paid a decent amount. Though it's more a job on his own terms and a single man job, he has a good reputation for his work and such.
