I gotta know what happened after Reader got over the shock and how did the kids react?
After Reader gets over the shock of two different worlds overlapping slightly, she'd probably...
Reader: "OKAY! OK, I understand"
*reassuring Wukong that she knows he didn't cheat on her, and she believes him. It really helps that reader did see LMK back in her world, or else this would be much more confusing*
Reader: "FFM is the perfect place for this little guy to end up in (could be mk but just not the one we're familiar with with so it's probably for the best?)"
-Later, after food and bath for the new baby-
All three walk into the living room
Reader: *knocking on the wall*
"!!! FAMILY MEETING!!! IN THE LIVING ROOM PLEEEASE!!!"
Then, from the ceiling, windows, and halls all the baby monks gather around, noticing their dad's holding something in a blanket breathing
Reader: We have a new member of the family
Wukong shows them the new baby monkey
Everyone: *GASP!!!!* "A NEW MONKEY!!!
They ALL gather around him pawing, sniffing and petting
- They're Sooo cuuute, Mama!
- When did you get pregnant again? We didn't even notice ☹️
- He's SO FLUFFY 💖
- He smells nice and earthy
- CAN WE HOLD TH-
- That's enough, guys
*Everyone looks at Willow*
- You're starting to stress him out
*They look by at the baby to see him shaking and misty eyed*
Everyone mutters apologies as they take a seat on the floor circling Wukong, The Reader and the baby. Tails still wagging and eyes filled with excitement.
Willow: What is their name? Mama, Baba
Reader: "Oh, uuuuh" (shit, I didn't think this far! I dont know MK real name, and i can't name him Monkey Kid, that would be so mean)
"Nine?"
Everyone: .....*cheers and applause* Brilliant, adorable, perfect 🥰 💞 👌 "His name is Sun Nine, our new youngest sibling"
Sun Wukong: *stares at Reader* Nine?😑
"Me" as Reader: *Not looking back* heh heh yeeep~ 😅 (this is fine riiiight?)
---------------------------------------------------
Reasons for Nine as a name is because
- I believe the Chinese character for Nine (Jiu) means mud/earth/clay, matching how he was born from a Stone egg and found covered in mud and earth
- Nine is the luckiest number in Chinese culture and In my culture we have the nine “fruits of the spirit”
- I just think Nine is a cool and funny name for your nineth child

For the ask game, TianYue or LiuShen?
TianYue
Don’t Ship It
Why don’t you ship it? Honestly, never really heard of or thought about this ship before, and I don't really uhh participate in Yue Qingyuan much. For some reason he is unshippable to me, and I think it's because he's too easy to project onto and I don't like seeing any of myself or my relationships in anything I ship. I am rereading the books though, so maybe I'll have a different opinion.
What would have made you like it? Maybe just more exposure in fancontent and a shift of opinion on yqy ships?
Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? It definitely has potential. There's a hint of enemies to lovers in there, even if it's faint. There's two sad middle-aged men who have lost a lot maybe finding something new in each other. Could be fun!
Liushen
Don’t Ship It (mostly)
Why don’t you ship it? Literally because: Where is Binghe?? Where is my son?? What did they do with him? Why is SQQ not concerned? I also think these two could go decades without confessing anything to each other or even realizing feelings. I tend to read Liu Qingge as somewhere on the aroace spectrum and SQQ as bingromantic bingsexual. I don't really go for slowburn friends to lovers. Needs more zest.
What would have made you like it? More Luo Binghe. SQQ has two hands. More conflict (Binghe getting involved). Basically I read a lot of Bingliushen. Love bingliushen.
Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? Definitely. I think their relationship in canon is hilarious. Your life gets saved by your most despised shixiong, so you immediately become ride or die for them til the end of time? I think their relationship is beautiful and while I'm answering these asks from a romantic viewpoint, I do love their canon friendship a lot. I can see a good jumping off point for romance there.

LiuShen or TianYue for the ship ask game?
LiuShen —
I like this one! They’ve got a fun dynamic together and it’s very easy to see them fall into the trap of mutually pining for each other without realising the other is the same. Very much an ‘opposites-attract’ ship!
8/10
TianYue —
Ok so I can definitely see this happening more than TianLiu (?). They have enough similarities that I can see them being able to bond over them (both leaders, both lost someone important to them, both got stuck in a cave trying to get to that person), but they’re also different enough to contrast and have a fun dynamic!

Shen Tianyu making the most romantic overtures to Bingge he can think of, telling him they need to get him legal identification. Shang Qingshui is initially confused as Bingge is overwhelmed and starts sobbing into Tianyu's arms over it.
The implications are: they get Bingge legal identification in the modern world, they can legally get married, they can get insurance together, get a house together, Bingge can legally adopt Jiuyuan as his father as well, they can rent cars or book cruises and share bank accounts and all that normal good couple stuff.
Bingge is overwhelmed by the idea that not only does Shen Tianyu think he deserves this treatment, he WANTS this life with him and suggested it first. It implies Shen Tianyu wants to stay with him for the LONG HAUL. Hundreds of wives, armies of demons, countless enemies slain, none of them have asked or even suggested something like this of him....just Tianyu. It's a mundane life, maybe, but he's never had anyone want that with him.
Shen Tianyu says "I want to coexist with you for the rest of my life" and abruptly no one can tell the difference between Bingge and Bingmei.

@tianyueary Is asking a series of questions and I'd like to collect all my answers together and explain them. TianYue is my favorite post canon pairing and I'm so excited for more content for them! Answers below the cut!
1. Who's more of a cuddler?
I think Yue Qingyuan is someone who desperately misses the casual touch he got as a nameless street kid surrounded by other street kids. He desperately wants to cuddle, but his position prevents him. Contrast with Tianlang Jun who probably doesn't have the instincts for cuddling on account of him being a demon. He loves to do it when initiated, but he never consciously thinks about it.
2. Who refuses to get up in the morning?
TLJ for sure! He's a hedonist to the bone, he'd never get up before he wants to. YQY has never had a good sleep schedule and he's to dedicated to lay in bed when he's needed.
3. Who's hair care routine is longer?
TLJ! He's much more vain then YQY and loves to try new things out with his hair. YQY is much more utilitarian.
4. Who has the better dog?
All! Dogs! Are! Good! Dogs! They totally need to do exposure therapy to get Liu Qingge and Zhuzhi Lang used to one another but they are both good boys.
5. Who's better at cooking?
I don't think TLJ knows how to cook, and I think YQY can cook simple dishes so he wins by default. No one ever craves YQY's cooking, but I don't think TLJ realizes that the only reason he hasn't gotten food poisoning is because he's a Heavenly Demon.
6. Who has the bigger wardrobe?
YQY has a closet full of official sect leader robes for every occasion, he uses it as another arm of diplomacy. TLJ on the other hand just wears whatever he comes across that he thinks looks cool, with ZZL compensating people stealthily behind him. He discards clothes just as quickly so usually he only really has the clothes on his back and whatever ZZL has stored away for emergencies.
7. Who's better at keeping surprises?
YQY is a secret keeper extraordinaire! He was willing to take his reasons for leaving Shen Jiu to the grave. TLJ can't keep a secret to save his life, he has no tact.
8. Who stays up later?
YQY! He totally overworks himself. TLJ is naturally nocturnal though, but he naps frequently.
9. Who has better handwriting?
YQY, he was trained super hard to have great handwriting to make up for the fact that when he came to Cang Qiong Mountain he could not read or write. TLJ is great at reading but he has a hard time writing human script.
10. Who is more likely to accidentally acquire a harem?
YQY is the Shen Yuan in this equation (the equation being that all ships in SVSSS are just iterations of Cumplane) so he has a large amount of people waiting for him to open up applications for spouses. TLJ I imagine actually has trauma from the Heavenly Demon expectation of having a large harem and I head canon that his sister died whilst trying to make a monster boy harem.
11. Who is more likely to seek comfort after a bad nightmare?
TLJ would totally try to be nonchalant about getting it but he'd cuddle up so quickly after a nightmare. YQY has long learned no one is going to care about his nightmares.
12. Who is the "he asked for no pickles" in the relationship?
YQY has made a career out of politely asking people to comply for the sake of others. He'd be so subtle about it but he wouldn't take no for an answer. TLJ would just go somewhere else and buy all their food to spite the other place then leave all the pickles from those meals on the doorstep of the first place.
13. Who said "I love you" first?
I think TLJ said it first but he played it off as a joke. He keeps quoting love confessions from his stories and plays but playing them off when YQY reacts with shock. YQY is the first one to actually say it and make it clear he means it.
14. Who made the first move?
TLJ for sure! He mostly did it for a reaction, but he keeps doing it because of the cute little micro expressions YQY makes about them.
15. Who plans more dates?
ZZL is the ultimate unappreciated wing snake. My poor boy needs to be paid for the shit he deals with.
16. Who's more romantic?
YQY is more romantic in a real sense. TLJ quotes things all the time but he doesn't really understand them. YQY will brush TLJ's hair out of his face and say how much he appreciates TLJ's honesty and that just makes TLJ turn into a demonic puddle.
Man this turned out long. There are still several polls going on @tianyueary and they've posted their prompts for TianYue week. Check them out!

Chapter 17 | Hitoban Pt. 2
“Now, what are we going to do?” - Tianyu asks like it’s someone elses problem.
“Whatever I say, won’t you just show me how to do it right?” - Maomao looked at the courtyard.
She/they had decided to let Lihaku sleep since he’s on night patrol. In return, Maomao got a map of the villa.
Narrator-Mao also lets us know that she’s persuaded the quack to go out, so they have to wrap it up early.
“I’m scissors. I’m not going to cut, unless you tell me what paper I’m supposed to cut. If you want to stab anything in the back, that’s fine.”
Maomao: … …
Narrator-Mao notes that Tianyu seems to have a deep-rooted feeling that she doesn’t trust him.
Maomao thinks something along the lines of “But that guy’s someone like that.”
And goes on as narrator that he seems to be lacking ethics.
“For now, let’s go to the place where the yokai appeared.”
Tianyu then uses a word that’s common for interjections but can mean a couple different things - natives don’t rec using that phrase unless it’s orally ‘cause it’s that hard to pinpoint.
The first location is a courtyard where the floating head is seen often.
“Sightings are concentrated on that tree or building/toward the tree and on top of the building.”
Maomao glances at the floorplan of the villa - noting as narrator that, although a villa, it’s quite spacious.
“Ho/Huh” - Tianyu looks alternately at the tree and building.
“Is there anything you’re curious about?”
“Not particularly. What about you, young miss Maomao?”
That’s how Tianyu calls her.
“For me, there’s two things.” - She turns her initial attention to the tree.
“It’s a little different from the trees that grow elsewhere in Saito. It’s larger and taller than the others”
“So what/What’s that about?”
“Don’t you care? Different types of plants produce different kinds of medicines. I’ll have to get a little closer to see/find out.”
Tianyu’s like “Yeah, what’s that got to do with anything right now?”
If he’s got an uninteresting personality, Maomao will get/look bored.
“And the other one?”
“The other thing is that the trees and buildings look like “masks”.”
“That’s because he said it would show its face.”
“Yes. When a/the “mask (men)” or “face (kao)” appears/comes out. But they didn’t say “head (atama)” (alt version could be: they say when a mask or face appears - but they don’t say head, it’s complicated, stick with me pls)
One thing that bothered Maomao is that there are two different testimonies: “mask (men)” and “head (atama)”.
“Are you sure they mean “mask (men)” and “head (atama)”, so flat and three-dimensional?”
Narrator-Mao notes that “Tianyu is kinda/somehow very smart. He got close.”
Maomao argues that she doesn’t know about that, but she’s wondering and says that she’ll check out the tree.
Tianyu’s like “Please do. Is there anything to do?” and Narrator-Mao notes that “It looks like the scissors are ready to work.”
“Yes, then/well…” - Maomao pulls out a Tenugui from her pocket and wraps it around a stone that had fallen on the ground.
“Please hook this well to that tree.”
Tianyu’s response can be translated a couple of ways “Don’t talk nonsense/That’s unreasonable/Don’t be absurd/…” in short, he’s not pleased…
But as he says that, he already swung the Tenugui neatly and hooked it on the tree. Now she can climb confidently.
Maomao goes under the tree. The tree is broad leaved and around 2 jo tall.
“Is this an osmanthus?” (fragrant olive - osmanthus fragrans var. aurantiacus)
Maomao looks around. It’s a tree that produces small flowers with a strong fragrance - it’s used to make keika chinshu wine and flower tea.
Maomao puts her hand on the tree and lets out a “Wow!” sound.
Tianyu: Ugh that’s disgusting/dirty.
Maomao, in her head: Shut up/Be quiet.
She had dried bird poop on her hands - going to try and rub it off on the trunk of the tree.
Tianyu’s like “Huh?” and asks her something, I’m not 100% of. It’s related to smell/a stench. I mostly get what she’s sniffing at/smelling but I don’t know if that quite makes sense, in or out of context.
“Eh? What are you stirring with the stick?” - Tianyu looks at her with blank eyes.
Maomao’s like “Huh? Picking it up/apart? I’m picking the contents of the feces up/apart like with chopsticks.”
Tianyu takes half a step back.
Narrator-Mao notes that even she doesn’t like to do it - animal feces contain a lot of information.
“This bird seems to mainly eat insects.” - Tianyu seems to mockingly repeat “It seems to only eat insects”, given the ending & context.
“But there are also some hairs mixed in, probably from a rat or some other small animal.”
“Eats rats? It it a falcon/hawk or black kite (milvus migrans)?”
Narrator-Mao notes that if the bird doesn’t just eat insects but also small animals it would’ve to be of a certain size.
“Yes. But… …” Maomao looks around - letting us know in narration that while the villa has a lot of greenery and plenty of water, meaning there are a few birds here and there, none of them were big enough to eat mice/rats. Also, if there was such a bird, the smaller ones would run away.
Or, at least they don’t appear to be there at this time - Narrator-Mao thinks, turning her attention next to the building.
“You can’t get up on the roof of that building, can you?”
“The roof, huh. Do you want to throw another tenugui?”
“Can you reach it?”
“Looks like it’s impossible/I don’t think so.”
Since there didn’t seem to be a solution, Maomao thought about heading back.. but then Maomao felt/saw something move at the edge of her vision.
She wondered what it was, but since she couldn’t find anything in particular, all she took note of was the openwork decoration under the roof.
“... I really want to climb the roof.”
“Eh, that’s impossible.”
“Let’s do something. We need a ladder.”
“Even if you say that, you’ll have to ask the gardener.”
Narrator-Mao concludes that “perhaps his interest has waned considerably, and he’s not motivated.”
But in her head she’s like: speaking of gardener, if I remeber correctly…
He should be/is the old man who said he’d seen the head yesterday.
She goes about heading to the hut where the gardener’s supposed to be.
“Even if you suddenly ask me to lend you a ladder…” - The old man responds with a troubled/annoyed look and Narrator-Mao wonders that it might be because of the strange thing he saw yesterday that he’s feeling a little lackluster/lifeless.
“I’m told to be kind to guests, but I’m not told to help them rummage around the mansion.”
Tianyu’s like “That’s a fair point.” and in her head Maomao’s like “Which side are you on?”, concluding as narrator that Tianyu’s completely unreliable.
“It looks like a bird is nesting in the cracks in the roof of this mansion.”
“A nest? Well, there’s been a lot of poop lately.”
“Yes. It would be a hassle if the birds were to nest, so I thought I’d clean it up. I would be happy if I could get the eggs. We use them as an ingredient in our medicine.”
“Medicine? Even though we don’t know what kind of bird it it?”
“Yes, eggs are generally good for nourishment.” - Maomao says the appropriate things.
But there’s one more thing to add/that she’d like to add.
“The monster commotion that has become a hot topic lately - I think I know the cause.”
“R-Really?!”
“Yes.”
Narrator-Mao notes that she thinks at least half of the problem can be solved.
The elderly gardener immediately prepared a ladder, but it turned out to be more unstable than expected.
“Maybe I should be (the one) climbing?” Tianyu asks Maomao.
“The way you put it, you have no intention of climbing (it).”
“Yeah.”
Maomao doesn’t feel like asking that much of the old gardener, so she decides to climb up herself. However, as she put up the big ladder, a bunch of government officials and servants gathered around.
“.......”
Unfortunately, no one stepped up to take her place, it was really just a sight-seeing trip.
“Incidentally, the original man of leisure/busybody was also there” - Narrator-Mao notes.
It’s Jinshi. The people around him took three steps back at the appearance of “the great man”.
Jinshi had an indescribable look on his face and went about telling Basen something - Basen nods and comes over to Maomao.
“It looks like you’re going to climb the ladder, but I’ll take your place. What do you want me to do?”
“Are you, Basen-sama?”
Narrator-Mao’s like: To be honest, if Basen were to go, it would be faster if she just did it herself. Although Basen has better athletic abilities, she felt like he would be slow to make quick decisions. In addition—
She goes on thinking that he’ll do something with his enormous strength.
“No, it’s okay. I’ll go.” - While she flatly/firmly refuses, there’s no way he’ll back down.
Basen goes on to argue that either he or Jinshi said he’ll replace her, asking again what he should do. Maomao realizes she has no choice but to give up because it’s assumed/expected that they switch.
“Perhaps, just perhaps, there’s a bird nesting in the gap in the roof. If there is a bird would you be able to/could you please catch it?”
“A bird?”
“Yes, I think it’s probably a nocturnal bird. If it’s asleep, please take your time. If you can reach it.”
“Understood.”
Basen lets out a heavy breath - Maomao on the other hand becomes anxious.
“Basen-sama. Please don’t kill it, because it won’t be able to get into paradise if it’s killed in vain.” (alt is that he won’t if he kills in vain.)
“Please don’t kill it… …” - Basen’s voice immediately becomes quiet.
Maomao thinks “I’m anxious/nervous.”
As narrator she tells us that she was thinking about going to wake up Lihaku, ask him to switch places but then she saw the gap in the roof. It seems like Lihaku would never be able to get into it.
“I think it would be better if I go because of the size of the gap.”
“No, no, I’ll go. Leave it to me!”
Maomao is filled with anxiety as she watches Basen climb the ladder. One lucky thing is that his body is strong, so even if he would fall of the ladder they wouldn’t have to worry about him getting injured.
Basen climbs the ladder and looks through the opening beneath the roof. He makes a circle with his thumb and forefinger.
Maomao thinks something along the lines of “So there’s a birds nest *right?*”
The openwork is removable and Basen goes about removing it slowly. He threaded a string through it and lowered it to the ground. He then twists his body through the gap and enters.
Not only Maomao but everyone around them swallowed hard.
She thought everyone was quiet but before she knew it Chue came over and showed everyone a board with the word “Quiet” written on it.
There was nothing for a while, but then suddenly there was a loud rattling/clattering sound.
“I missed it/It got away-” Basen’s voice echoes.
Maomao thinks something like “Oh/Hey”
As she’s panicking, Chue climbed up the ladder with a note. Maomao was wondering what she was going to do, but Chue waited in front of the gap Basen had gone into. Chue catches what jumps out of the gap with a net.
“....”
Even Maomao was stunned at how skilled she is.
“I caught it!”
Chue was holding up a large net, she looked very triumphant, proud and a little irritated.
She was a showoff and didn’t miss the delicious moment.
Notes | Chapter 18
The scissor part is a refence to chapter 1(?), aka the rock paper scissor fight. This part held me up so hard, 'cause I was like "is this guy high? scissor? why scissor?". I opened a solid 20 tabs and translator for this just to go "you can't be serious" xD
A tenugui is a japense towel/the cousin of a cloth handkerchief. It's usually made from thin, colorfully printed cottonwool. Around 30cm by 90cm big, on average.
The part where Maomao and Basen go back and forth based on his wording Basen really wants her to trust him/put faith into him. I'm not sure if she says if killed in vain he or the owl won't get into heaven, I'd assume it's about Basen though.
Like I said in last chapters notes, everything will make sense in the next one. It's not the conclusion of this mini-arc per se, but it's a good enough point to post.
Start of some JinMao crumbs xD

Tianyu still often got lost in the royal family's private rooms. It was like a gilded maze, full of gold and exquisite stone. He roamed around that afternoon and eventually ended his journey in the main sitting area. The foreign man stopped there to scratch at his arm ( or, really, the scales beneath his flesh he needed to drop ). As he lifted his hand, he scraped his limb against the edge of a table. Instead of hurting, the action felt good.
Sighing shakily, Tianyu slowly let himself transform. It would just be for a few moments, he thought — only long enough to rub into the wood and see if he could free these itchy old scales. The very young green dragon, barely the size of a small horse, hesitantly ducked down to the height of the table. Those first harsh rubs were euphoric. Perhaps, a long soak in hot water ( Daigo's preference ) or a partner would have helped better, but this was all Tianyu would allow. He released a high - pitched whine of pleasure and sank to the floor.
After several minutes had passed, the dragon shook his slim body and opened his eyes. He was immediately greeted by the sight of the Queen of Solaris — his future mother - in - law, maybe. Tianyu's glowing eyes, like pools of the poison that made the tips of the many barbs on him, widened. With a soft keen, he instinctively shied away from Melissa and flattened to the carpet. Unlike the other pure - blooded dragons in the palace, he had never had a good encounter in his rightful shape. Tianyu acted as though he were a kicked dog, yielding to the Queen.
Scraps of extremely dry scales littered the floor around him. Patches hung from the dragon's hide. He looked rough, to put it kindly, and in this form his sunken sides and showing ribs was apparent. It was obvious that Tianyu, though almost thirty in his human body, was practically a small child for dragonkind ; his state clearly showed his ignorance toward his own upkeep.
unscripted asks . always accepting
Caring for those who were weaker and more vulnerable, Melissa used to say, came with the pretty crown atop her head and the many duties of the role attached to her name. A queen (or king) without their people were nothing; it had been their suffering that had pushed the monarch to don the best clothes she had and to boldly walk into a dragon's den, with magic so thick it had been possible to taste on the tip of the tongue.
It had been madness - an ill-advised gambit by mostly everyone of the small council, but one which had miraculously worked. It felt both a century ago and just yesterday, but the age of all the heirs to the crown established clear proof that the fateful encounter between Melissa and Daigo had been almost two decades prior. It was true that it began harder and harder to tell time when one looked at the brunette - surrounded by the magic of her beloved, aging slowed down to a pitiful crawl for the woman and their shared offspring.
And it showed in how ready Hikari was to one day take the throne if her older brother abdicated (a very likely future, considering Kazuya's preferences were entirely in opposition to those of a ruler). Her mission as a diplomatic envoy to nations that had been previously ready to pounce and annex Solaris had been incredibly successful; not only to inspire a new deal of conversations and treaties being signed, but also to illustrate new future options for creatures - such as Tianyu - who had failed to reap any benefits of their true selves.
In a country that now looked up to dragons as their saviors - and even held festivals to honor Daigo, as much as it all probably translated as an amusing occasion to the gem beast and nothing more - Melissa's son-in-law still struggled to make peace with his inner self. To run into him looking so vulnerable and in need of help had the queen sighing softly, eventually moving to sit down at one of the chairs paired with the table that the young chromatic had used earlier.
"It is alright, my dear. Come closer so I can help - you can only do so much with that sort of assistance, I'm afraid," Melissa murmured, speaking in a soft tone and making no imposing gestures whatsoever. The idea was to let the young man feel like he could trust her - his future in-laws - to be in any shape he desired or enjoyed, even if Daigo's distaste for his kind was not particularly disguised. The old, ancient being was proud, immortal and too powerful to care for the feelings of 'worms', as he put it - even if that was one his own hatchling had affections for.
It seemed like time stalled for a moment - Tianyu looked alarmed and defenseless, dejected and ashamed of the state he was in. But whatever terrible itch he had was stronger than self-respect, which eventually drove him to sit down at Melissa's feet very quietly. When he did so, the queen bit back another sigh when he moved in a way that seemed to indicate an irrational fear of pain coming from another handling him - but eventually, through gently pulling and very soft humming, Tianyu seemed to relax enough to grant the queen ample room for her job.
Within the following few minutes, the monarch did something that many would say to be very far from her duties as a queen - but not those of a mother who cared for her children. Melissa did not enjoy seeing the poor dragon so scared of his own shadow when Daigo was around, or that he thought his truest self something so fragile that was reserved for Hikari alone. They had to do something about him, the queen thought - he needed to soak more frequently, eat well and hydrate. If he moved to the palace permanently (after the wedding, of course), it would be fine eventually.
"There - do you feel any better?" Melissa asked, tentatively scratching a patch of scales at his back in a way that her oldest had appreciated when young; and even if the chromatic looked different with a certain flush over his cheeks and still very much embarrassed that the queen of all people had found him while transformed, he at least seemed to be relieved of the annoyance brought on by the shedding. Perhaps a tiny step towards a more confident relationship, the monarch thought with excitement.
"Now, if you follow me, I can take you back to your quarters, and ask for a servant to fix you a good hot bath. I know our tubs are not as exquisite as those naturally occurring at the mountains, but they should help. I will send Hikari to you with some food for later too - is that acceptable?"
Tianyu looked at Melissa in a way that was strangely adorable - with a mix of confusion, bewilderment and gratitude, but with no trace of fear in with his handsome young features. Smiling warmly at her future son-in-law, the queen nodded and moved to stand, adjusting the skirts around her and then holding out a hand to him. "Then off we go, my dear. Get used to these pathways - they will be yours too in no time."

head canons and/or backstory.
Zhōu Haoyu was born with a calm demeanor and a solemn air that seemed beyond their years. Their mother often remarked that she had been blessed with an easy first pregnancy, free from the usual discomforts. Even from the beginning, Haoyu was a gentle and wise soul, as if they had an intrinsic connection to dusk itself, embodying its tranquility and mystery. They rarely cried and if it wasn’t for the sharp eye of their nanny, it would be overlooked that Haoyu would often cry silently and hold their breath - a scary thing but the nanny had raised children of her own and knew how to help the High Lord and the Lady with their firstborn.
From an early age, perhaps due to being the eldest or due to their seriousness, Haoyu was surrounded by adults mores than children. They were often seated beside their parents during court discussions. Even the most seasoned court members would not recall a moment when Haoyu’s attention wavered or if they interrupted the meetings. The biggest mistake anyone could make was to suggest that Haoyu abandon their focus for childish play - instead, Haoyu would only look at them with solemnly, as if judging them and finding them wanting.  Though their parents encouraged them to enjoy the innocence of childhood, Haoyu was drawn to the allure of books, magic, and dragons. "I am limited only by my size, not my mind," they would tell their parents, as they asked for help getting a book higher up on the shelf than they could reach.
However, in private, Haoyu was as playful and mischievous as any child. Beneath their scholarly pursuits was a spirit filled with curiosity and joy, marked by a profound connection to the natural world and an innate affinity for magic. They took delight in applying their lessons practically, earning a reputation for hands-on experimentation and innovative learning methods... often to the detriment of what was around them. this continued until they were given a building to conduct their experiments - one will find that even now, haoyu will come out of this sanctuary with ink stained fingers or with colored fog following them or a tear in a new robe.
It was not uncommon to find Haoyu lying on the ground, conversing with flowers, or gazing at the sky, lost in the study of the cosmos. Whenever their guards weren't watching closely, Haoyu would sneak away to sketch and study dragons. While some saw their unique behaviors and unusual insights as strange, most found Haoyu’s kindness and gentleness endearing. This empathy extended even to the animals around them. Haoyu once cried over being served chicken for dinner, realizing the creature's life had ended for their meal. This hard-learned lesson in respecting life and death was one taught by their mother, which they absorbed with thoughtful reflection.
As they learned from their parents, their staff, and guard — he came to understand that everyone had value and worth. Haoyu's father instilled in them the importance of protecting those who were weaker or unable to defend themselves. This extended, after the twins were born, to them. Then, when their sister was adopted, that same sense of responsibility was spread to her. Haoyu’s father did not tolerate disrespect to his staff or to any person who came to him for aid or sanctuary. Under their father’s influence and guidance, Haoyu treated the court’s servants and staff with kindness and respect, learning to listen to their problems without a need to solve the problem before learning as much information so they could make an informed choice. With the unwavering support of their parents, Haoyu blossomed into a beacon of guidance and strength, gaining a reputation for their deep understanding of magic, philosophy, and their steadfast commitment to both family and court.
Recognizing Haoyu’s immense potential, their parents provided them with an education that was as rigorous as it was comprehensive—far beyond what most children could endure. However, Haoyu thrived under deadlines, pressures and challenges. They were surrounded by an array of tutors and guards who were tasked with pushing them to their limits mentally, physically, and spiritually. Despite this intense regime, the person who was the hardest on Haoyu was Haoyu himself. Their parents showed patience with Haoyu's occasional missteps, often offering comfort and guidance when frustration set in. Fully aware that they were being groomed to be the next high ruler, Haoyu strived to be seen as the best choice for leadership. Encouraged by their father to embody wisdom, strength, and leadership, Haoyu was also taught to appreciate the strengths of others and to collaborate with those who complemented their weaknesses. Despite this guidance, Haoyu insisted they simply needed to be better so they could accomplish more on their own.
During her teenage years, Haoyu’s passions took them into studying spiritual and magical studies, discovering the teachings of the Dark Mother. She approached these teachings with profound respect and a keen desire to understand their deeper truths.
As she approached adulthood, Haoyu was faced with a series of marriage proposals arranged by her parents, intended to give Haoyu a companion that complemented them. She resisted these proposals, valuing genuine personal connections over political gain. While she didn’t necessarily seek love, she desired at least friendship in any potential partner and carefully judged anyone seeking a relationship with her.
It was after their parents’ deaths when Haoyu became the High Ruler, as it had been known they would. Their bonding to Tianyu was a surprise, as the white dragon hadn’t shown any inclination of wishing to bond with anyone. Haoyu admitted to their siblings that it wasn’t their mind that Tianyu had been interested in, but the depth of love and their dreams. Tianyu has become Haoyu’s greatest teacher and support. The white dragon is Haoyu’s complement. Where Haoyu is careful, considerate and calm — Tianyu is known for advocating for action.
It is not uncommon to see Tianyu and Haoyu together, speaking telepathically to one another, as they share what they’ve learned or done while they were apart. When they fly together, they are truly connected and free of their responsibilities. Yet Tianyu has kept one secret from them … why did a dragon kill his parents? He couldn’t give his siblings an answer… and he wouldn’t speculate. Yet, his bonding with Tianyu has changed them in other ways … there is a distance between him and others now… a kind of sad demeanor as he looks upon their siblings and family members, and they don’t share why. It is as if every conversation has the potential to be the final goodbye.

Researchers: 'First genetically engineered bacterium that eats plastic from seawater'
Tumblr media
Researchers have found a way to genetically engineer a marine microorganism, allowing it to break down plastic in saltwater. Is this the solution to the plastic problem?
A group of scientists from the University of North Carolina worked with two types of bacteria: Vibrio natriegens[1] and Ideonella sakaiensis[2]. The former thrives in saltwater and reproduces quickly. The second bacterium is remarkable because it produces enzymes that can break down and eat polyethylene terephthalate – better known as PET.
Combine bacteria
By combining the two bacteria, the researchers were able to combine fast reproduction and saltwater ability with the property of the plastic-eating enzyme. The genetically engineered bacterium can break down PET in a saltwater environment at room temperature.
And that is a breakthrough, the researchers say. “It is scientifically exciting because this is the first time anyone has managed to combine cells from the  Vibrio natriegens with those of Ideonella sakaiensis,” said Nathan Crook, co-author of the study. [3]
Economically achieveable
“From a practical point of view, this is also the first genetically engineered organism capable of degrading PET microplastics in saltwater,” said Tianyu Li, first author of the paper. “That is important because it is not economically feasible to remove plastic from the ocean.” The salt must first be removed from the water before the plastic can be filtered out on an industrial scale.
Obstacles
Although this is an important step for the researchers, there are still obstacles before the research can be further scaled up. For example, the modified bacteria must be further modified so that it can also feed on other products besides plastic. In addition, according to the researchers, it would be even more beneficial if the bacteria produced a useful raw material from the eaten plastic.
The researchers would like to talk to companies from the industry. “For example, which molecules are desirable for industry?” Crook asks. Once they know this, the researchers can focus specifically on whether they can modify the bacterium in such a way that it can produce that molecule.
Limit on plastic production
Plastic-eating bacteria are not new[4]. In recent years, scientists have increasingly discovered animals with a hunger for plastic.[5] For example, German scientists found an enzyme in a cemetery compost heap that can break down plastic[6], and AI helped researchers[7] build the ultimate plastic-eating bacteria. All those plastic-eating organisms may help solve plastic pollution, but the best solution is still a limit on plastic production, researchers wrote in an open letter.[8]

[1] Vibrio natriegens is a Gram-negative marine bacterium.[3][5] It was first isolated from salt marsh mud. It is a salt-loving organism (halophile) requiring about 2% NaCl for growth. It reacts well to the presence of sodium ions which appear to stimulate growth in Vibrio species, to stabilise the cell membrane, and to affect sodium-dependent transport and mobility. Under optimum conditions, and all nutrients provided, the doubling time of V. natriegens can be less than 10 minutes. V. natriegens is able to successfully live and rapidly divide in its coastal areas due its large range of metabolic fuel. Recent research has displayed that Vibrio natriegens has a flexible metabolism, which allows it to consume a large variety of carbon substrates, reduce nitrates, and even fix nitrogen from the atmosphere under nitrogen-limiting and anaerobic conditions.[6] In the laboratory, the growth medium can be easily changed, thus affecting the growth rate of a culture.[7][8] V. natriegens is commonly found in estuarine mud. S.I. Paul et al. (2021)[5] isolated and identified many strains of Vibrio natriegens from marine sponges of the Saint Martin's Island Area of the Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh.
[2] Ideonella sakaiensis is a bacterium from the genus Ideonella and family Comamonadaceae capable of breaking down and consuming the plastic polyethylene terephthalate (PET) using it as both a carbon and energy source. The bacterium was originally isolated from a sediment sample taken outside of a plastic bottle recycling facility in Sakai City, Japan.
[3] Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) is a highly recyclable plastic that has been extensively used and manufactured. Like other plastics, PET resists natural degradation, thus accumulating in the environment. Several recycling strategies have been applied to PET, but these tend to result in downcycled products that eventually end up in landfills. This accumulation of landfilled PET waste contributes to the formation of microplastics, which pose a serious threat to marine life and ecosystems, and potentially to human health. To address this issue, our project leveraged synthetic biology to develop a whole-cell biocatalyst capable of depolymerizing PET in seawater environments by using the fast-growing, nonpathogenic, moderate halophile Vibrio natriegens. By leveraging a two-enzyme system—comprising a chimera of IsPETase and IsMHETase from Ideonella sakaiensis—displayed on V. natriegens, we constructed whole-cell catalysts that depolymerize PET and convert it into its monomers in salt-containing media and at a temperature of 30°C. https://aiche.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/aic.18228?_ga=2.34308516.464140274.1695118704-1472931476.1658240840

That substance can be used to make new plastic. https://www.change.inc/circulaire-economie/doorbraak-enzym-eet-binnen-16-uur-plastic-op-38376

[8] Scientists around the world warn in a letter that there must be a limit on plastic production. Susan gets there as quickly as she can, pointing at Hyson as she's walking in. "Ah-ah, no. Put it down. Put it," she holds up a hand, before he can start explaining himself, "Down."
"Everything has to go." Hyson said but stopped what he was doing. He folded up Tianyu's jacket and looked at Susan and sighed. "I didn't know you were coming over today, should I make tea?" He asked ignoring the elephant in the room.

Seasons Change, Feelings Remain
Prompt:  Enemies to Lovers/Seasons
Summary: The seasons change. Life goes on, even as people are left behind. When Tianlang-Jun goes to meet with Sect Leader Yue regarding an important matter, life goes on.
Rating: PG
Warnings: Some references to canon events, but nothing super graphic.
Notes: There’s a SVSSS Rare Pair Week currently happening on Twitter, and I was just like “I need to write TianYue before I DIE” and now here we are! It’s short, but hopefully you like it! Please consider TianYue!
***Alternate Ao3 Link*** Commission? Donate?
He hadn’t been in a state to really think about anything.
Su Xiyan had betrayed him. Everything between them had been a lie. What a merciless woman she was! Ah, but, that mercilessness was part of why he liked her so much.
He hadn’t been in a state to really think about anything, but he had caught a glimpse of a certain someone while searching the sea of cultivators for Su Xiyan.
It wasn’t to admire their appearance. Rather, it was the curious pulsing of his blade, oppressive and brilliant like the very golden core itself. He supposed that the cultivator was handsome. Refined and solemn with high cheekbones and a sharp gaze. Not unlike Su Xiyan.
Aah. Tianlang-Jun wanted him dead. He wanted all of them dead.
He wanted every single human dead.
--
That certain someone, that cultivator, was Sect Leader Yue Qingyuan, although he may not have been the sect leader at the time. Tianlang-Jun did meet him a second time, right when his merciless son had set him up as a scapegoat.
Merciless. Like what he thought of Su Xiyan.
He hadn’t really been in a state to think about Sect Leader Yue then, either, with everything that was happening.
Tianlang-Jun had wanted to hate him for showing up again, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t hate the cultivator who stood so close to Master Shen. Master Shen, who both his foolish nephew and even more foolish son had adored so deeply.
Just as he thought, he couldn’t hate humans after all.
--
The seasons change. Life goes on, even as people are left behind. It’s a bit of a melancholy existence, being one of the remaining heavenly demons, but Tianlang-Jun isn’t ungrateful. He only has some regrets and they largely involve his nephew. And perhaps his son. And perhaps Su Xiyan, too.
When he was sealed away, everything was cold. With his own body rotting away, he had wanted so badly to rip his rebellious heart out and crush it to bits. One could call it an eternal winter.
It’s spring now and quite lovely. The season of rebirth and new beginnings.
“Thank you for agreeing to meet with me, Sect Leader Yue.”
Yue Qingyuan greets him with a small smile and a courteous bow. One of the cultivators who sealed him away. The one who had tied his very soul to his sword, if Tianlang-Jun’s suspicions are correct. He hadn’t the time to think much of it before, but now that he’s seated in front of the young sect leader... It’s such a curious thing.
Such curiosities are likely to be joined by great tragedies.
“To what does this one owe the pleasure?” Sect Leader Yue asks kindly. Gently. This sort of nurturing personality was uncommon among demons but considered normal among humans.
Humans can be cruel, but they can be kind. It’s why he cannot bring himself to dislike them.
Alas, this isn’t the time for an old soul’s wishful reminiscence. He’s here on an important mission, after all!
“I wanted to discuss with you matters of your sect.” Tianlang-Jun is all easy smiles and carefree air. He expects some level of apprehension, but Sect Leader Yue is only attentive.
 “What matters?”
Attentive and quick to the point. Not unlike Su Xiyan, although he’s now been around Sect Leader Yue long enough to know the two are as different as the tides and trees.
“Sect Leader Yue,” Tianlang-Jun speaks slowly and woefully with a deepening frown and a pinched brow. “I was under the assumption that you and Peak Lord Shen were close.”
Sect Leader Yue’s expression isn’t perfectly serene, but it does remain unchanged save for a raised brow.
“With the two of you close, I thought that meant Sect Leader Yue also had an appreciation for the arts,” Tianlang-Jun explains.
“I do,” Sect Leader Yue says simply. He pauses. Tianlang-Jun only stares at him expectantly. There’s the slightest twitch in Sect Leader Yue’s fine brow. “Is this regarding the recent bans?”
“Yes! Both Regret of Chunshan and Song of Bingqiu are quite unparalleled within the Human Realm, you see. I’ve always admired Human Realm culture and customs you see, and those two works in particular...” Tianlang-Jun gives a wistful, mournful sigh. “To learn that such masterpieces were now prohibited at the Cang Qiong Mountain Sect was such a heavens-shattering shock, that I had to come here right away.”
“I see.” Sect Leader Yue’s eyes glaze over, that smile more akin to stone. “While this one understands the lord’s grievances...”
“You needn’t be so formal, Sect Leader Yue,” Tianlang-Jun cuts him off with a wave of his hand. “Why, we’re practically family, are we not? Bound by the real world romance of Regret of Chunshan and Song of...”
“Tianlang-Jun.” Sect Leader Yue’s the one cutting him quite fiercely, but it only takes a moment for Tianlang-Jun to realize that the unflappable sect leader is flustered, not furious. “This one understands your grievances, but the bans were the wishes of all the Peak Lords. So nothing can be done.”
Don’t put me on the spot! His gaze practically begs. Just leave it be!
His nephew often had that same desperate look in his eye. Really. Even though he barely knows Sect Leader Yue, this person just puts him in a reflective sort of mood.
“Spring is a time for love and romance,” Tianlang-Jun sighs. “It’s such a shame, but I have no intention of twisting Sect Leader Yue to do my bidding. After all, we are family.”
“This sect leader appreciates the lord’s understanding,” he replies dryly, regarding him less familiarly and more warily.
“Is family not appropriate?” Tianlang-Jun asks. “Did Sect Leader Yue...also carry a torch for Peak Lord Shen?”
Yue Qingyuan’s face crumbles the slightest bit. Tianlang-Jun perks up and would speak once more, but the sect leader simply shakes his head.
“No, it’s not like that. This one is...simply unsure of how to accept your feelings.” Yue Qingyuan looks down at his hands, forcing them to relax on his lap. “Family. It’s a shamefully unfamiliar thing. While Shen Qingqiu is my shidi, of course, our past...is complicated. But this lord need not be burdened with this lowly one’s regrets.”
Regrets. Such familiar, bitter things, but nonetheless, Tianlang-Jun can understand. As the world is reborn and flourishing, there are still some cold griefs that will not stop weighing on him.
“This lord doesn’t mind.” Tianlang-Jun adjusts himself so that he can sit more properly. “While this lord is here, why not speak and reminisce?”
“I don’t...” Yue Qingyuan is flustered again, although it is different from before. “This sect leader has wronged you in the past.”
“Oh, that? Forgiven, forgiven.” Tianlang-Jun waves his hand. “Sect Leader Yue was tricked, so how can he be blamed? As regretful as those circumstances were, it’s no good to retain any bitterness over it. Especially since I cannot hate humans. I can only like them quite a bit the more I learn about them.” With a smile, he asks, “Is it alright, then, to ask if I can learn more about you, Sect Leader Yue?”
He had all the time in the world to think and learn. As spring blossoms, his world might as well blossom with it.
With Sect Leader Yue’s rather adorable hesitance, Tianlang-Jun can’t help but find the sentiment rather lovely.

I wrote 120 delivery notes in 15 years in the coldest town in China
Tumblr media
On the land of China, there are countless Li  HE Tuber Tianyus. Like cacti, they take root and grow in inconspicuous corners. With resilience, they break out of their own world and protect their hometown.
Huzhong Town in the Daxinganling Mountains of Heilongjiang Province is known as the "coldest town in the country". At the coldest time, the temperature reaches below minus 50 degrees Celsius. Dong Feifei is a native of Huzhong. In her memory, her hometown was "in full swing" when she was a child. There were many people in the town. The villagers were logging, the saws were sounding, and her fathers would go to the mountains to pick wild blueberries and cranberries. , we also go fishing in the river, and in winter we go hunting pheasants and rabbits. The children go out to hit the ice sledge, climb to the top of the mountain to play, and make snowmen. The days are ordinary and warm.
But young and energetic people always yearn for the outside world. Like some young people, when she grew up, she left the small town and went to the bustling big city to seek life. However, her father fell ill not long after she started working. She was far away from home, so she sent home the money she saved to let her father know that she could make money, which was also a comfort.
The life of working in other places is very restrictive and uncomfortable. She often thinks of the stars in the sky in her hometown, the hares in the mountains, the wild fish in the river, and misses the small town that makes people calm.
Three years later, her father died suddenly, which devastated her. Thinking that she had neither given her parents enough money nor given them good company, she no longer wanted to live a life separated from her family, so she resolutely embarked on the road home to accompany her mother who was alone at home.
But companionship also requires considering real livelihood. How to support yourself and let your mother live a comfortable life? In 2007, she started an e-commerce business and became one of the first local people to engage in e-commerce. She listed the product in her online store and sold one Ganoderma lucidum in less than a week. That day, she was so excited that she stayed up all night.
But the folks don't see it that way. Some people thought that she came back after she could no longer survive outside. For a while, Dong Feifei "felt a little unable to hold her head up." The villagers didn’t understand what e-commerce was. When relatives and neighbors saw her always shipping goods without getting the money back, they questioned whether her business was legal and legitimate. Some people reminded her, “Don’t be fooled.” ".
But she has a tenacity and insists on being an e-commerce business, because "we can all buy things online, and we will definitely be able to sell things." There were many difficulties on the road to starting a business. At that time, she couldn't even change the simple price and asked the buyer how to change it.
"If you don't learn, you will have to be told everything by others, and then you will not understand many things in the future." She kept the buyer's words in mind and plunged into learning.
Since there was no one around her to ask for advice, she searched online and learned bit by bit. It was often only after she understood it that she discovered that such a simple thing had taken so long.
Persistence finally paid off. After receiving the first payment, she took her mother out for a big meal—a bowl of beef noodles—to celebrate the feasibility of starting a business. Along the way, her income gradually increased. She could earn 900 yuan in the first month, 1,200 yuan in the second month, 1,800 yuan in the third month... Later, her monthly income exceeded 10,000 yuan. She said that starting a business is indeed You can make money.
A year later, Dong Feifei's online store has improved slightly. She and her mother moved to Jiagedaqi District, where transportation is more convenient, to continue their e-commerce business.
She offers a higher than traditional purchase price to purchase mountain goods from the villagers, so that their hard work can be exchanged for more income. The mountains and rivers of her hometown are also warming her up. For a while, she had sprained her feet and did not go to collect mountain goods. She thought that her uncle and aunt, who were in poor condition at home, had sold the roses. Unexpectedly, she found out after she went there that the old couple had specially kept them for her. My heart feels warm.
The warmth comes not only from the folks, but also from a note. For 15 years, she kept a notebook of her shipping orders. The store is not big, so she handwritten 120 delivery notes. She thought that when she was old, she would take it out and open it page by page. On it would be the footprints of her entire youth and struggle.
That is the memorial she left to herself and the best proof of her resilience along the way.

she never truly thinks tianyu is stupid or looks like it, zuriel would duel to death anyone who disrespected her princess in such fashion. however, she is amusing — zuriel finds tianyu profoundly hilarious at times. it is something about how resilient and passionate they are, how capable for destruction they can be, in juxtaposition with how utterly adorable she is even like this. even when obscene and indecently lewd, zuriel cannot help but let a smile soften her expression.  “it makes you look a little bit foolish, not stupid. only the kind of foolishness you'd find in someone who is deeply in love.” she leans forward and presses a kiss to the tip of tianyu's nose. “i suppose that makes two of us then, i want you all the time too.”

I'm on a roll so how about more on Shang Qingshui (and maybe some concepts on Mobei-jun, or someone who looks suspiciously like him ;D)
-Shang Qingshui being related to Airplane is the most hilarious thing bc once he arrives in the modern world and finds PIDW he absolutely HATES it. The realization that the COUSIN of his new life wrote it, wrote how HE got killed by demons after being forced into the life of a double agent-he'd kill Airplane if he hadn't already randomly died from a freak computer accident.
-Qingshui was that asshole cousin to Airplane, but it had nothing to do with PIDW when they were kids. At that point the story hadn't been written, except in Qingshui's previous life, and he figured if it was good enough to get him Tianyu's friendship he didn't need to change his approach. Airplane wasn't his biggest fan growing up, but when his parents divorced he leaned on Qingshui more often not. If you need someone to bitch and complain to, even contribute to it over your situation, he's there. PLUS, sometimes Tianyu might be there too and he could count on him to be more traditionally supportive. (Tianyu might also roast him sometimes, but he was always good at aftercare, so to speak.)
-Shang Qingshui did his solid best to avoid reading PIDW, even as Shen Tianyu referred to his younger brother as being obsessed with it. ("I bought him some weird-ass uhhhh expensive figure of some busty demon guy for his birthday. Don't tell me I'm being weird, Miaoyu bought him a goddamn body pillow and he was overjoyed." "Your brother is a grown-ass man, A-yu....and what do you mean busty GUY? Don't shrug at me, what do you MEAN?") He narrowed that down to two people from his previous life, but it had to be a coincidence, right? He almost threw his tablet out the window of their office building once he found the series and realized it's LITERALLY THE STORY OF HIS PAST LIFE. HIS DEATH IS EVEN IN HERE. WHO WROTE THIS SHIT, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS SUFFERING AND THEN MAKING BANK OFF MERCHANDISING IT?!
....oh it's his cousin. His aunt wouldn't...terribly maim him for injuring her son, would she?
-Mo Tuxuan is the CEO of a rival company, bearing a striking resemblance to Mobei-jun, and causing Shang Qingshui to automatically avoid him. This has, unfortunately, caused him to stand out in Tuxuan's head and now he's becoming very preoccupied with the business accounts manager. He's even asked Qingshui's bosses what would be necessary to transfer him to his own company. Shen Tianyu isn't sure if he's seeing a rival CEO attempt to poach a successful employee, or a dumbass attempt to court another dumbass.
-if Mo Tuxuan isn't literally Mobei-jun, he's the closest thing in real life to him. And if he is Mobei-jun....he's adjusted very well to modern life. He's drawn to Shang Qinghua all over again, but he isn't sure why. He doesn't even know it's Shang Qinghua, it's Shang Qingshui-a man who's good at his job, and has a suitably sharp tongue and a firm spine to stand up to even people several ranks above him and an ambitious mind. He could use a man like that. How he'd use him is uncertain, but Tuxuan could definitely....use him.
-Mo Tuxuan asking Bingge for advice on catching a businessman and Bingge being confused bc he didn't "catch" or "seduce" Tianyu. Unless you count the way he literally had to catch a drunk Tianyu that first night they met bc he was sloshed. And most of the overt romantic moves were made by Tianyu afterwards. (Bingge may have had a hundred wives, but he's not sure on how to seduce men and Tianyu is.) Tuxuan is a little disappointed. "I was hoping you could help; you and Manager Shen seem so close." "....we live together, that's logical."
And Shen Tianyu is STILL uncertain if Tuxuan is trying to poach or seduce Qingshui. He's not going to help either of them out, he's just enjoying the show.
