The beam on the loft of the 118 firehouse is driving me nuts. Solely because you know someone's smacked their head on it before during filming
Like why is it even there

I've seen two people excuse the game's antisemitism (I'm Jewish irl) and transphobia (I'm also trans)

can we discuss how wanda would pretty much be the perfect assassin since her main weapon is magic?

The way Keanu Reeves has the range to go from a himbo with a time machine to a scary assassin/hitman with a good heart at the same time and no one talks about it

I'm relieved to finally tell everyone that I've never found the mishapocalypse gag funny
I was here when it was started and even then I didn't find it amusing

My new favorite Wanda moment is her jumping into an elevator shaft, knowing that it's an awful idea.
This woman is reckless and she knows it. She just doesn't care

Coming from someone who's a big fan of body horror, and having watched both the Human Centipede and Tusk, I have something to say on both.
Human Centipede felt like a fetish put on film, just without the sexual nature of it, and doesn't even count as body horror (the stitching effect wasn't even good). It was boring at certain times, but the idea itself is interesting.
Tusk, once you look past the comedic moments, feels like a genuine body horror film with animalism as the topic. If it had been directed by David Croenberg (because you can see the inspiration), and the comedy had been removed from the script, it would be so much scarier than what we got. Not that the actual movie isn't freaky, but still. That movie has ruined walruses for me.
