Freya and Keelin have had been married for 7 years now. They had their first biological son Nik Mikaelson, 6 years ago. Before they had another biological child, shortly after a daughter called Ella Mikaelson (but would love a Keelin to plot more around who carried who), but Ella is 4/5 years old. They had these kids just before the war started and though they are involved in the resistance (and Freya is one of those who fought for New Orleans to keep being a safe place for supernatural), Freya is keeping a low profile so her kids can keep having a normal life.

They live in New Orleans still in the Compound full time and Freya owns Rousseau’s and has since the couple decided they were going to have a child and stay in New Orleans full time, so just after their wedding.

I would also be open to adopted or foster kids for them if someone wants to plot that. I think even more so with the war that they would have taken in a child or two (both officially and unofficially).

It's been a long time coming but finally my girl makes an appearance in the latest chapter even if it's just one panel!

With pride month on the horizon, let's talk characters and their sexualities and gender identities! While these are different, they're both part of the community, and it's important to discuss, especially when talking about those who are more marginalized.

Starting with canon characters!

Angel Dust - The way I write Angel is homosexual and demiromantic. Which means that he is attracted to men and does not form romantic attachments without first forming an emotional connection. I also write him as genderqueer, which means he's not entirely cis. He likes to play around with gender and gender expression, but doesn't necessarily have or want a different label, though he might figure something else out down the line.

Asmodeus - Ozzie is pansexual, demiromantic, and genderfluid. He is attracted to any and all genders, but again only forms romantic attachments with an emotional connection. This also means he's on the ace spectrum! And as far as his gender goes, while he frequently presents as male and mostly uses masculine pronouns, there are absolutely days where that is not the case. Sometimes he prefers to present more femme, and he might decide to use feminine pronouns that day. Or he might present more femme, while sticking with masculine pronouns. Another possibility is more androgynous, in both presentation and pronouns. The possibilities are honestly endless. He's just Ozzie, no matter what, and that's what's important.

Charlie - While she is bisexual and biromantic, Charlie is sapphic-leaning. Which means that she prefers partners who are not men. Because "bi" in her case does not mean "only men and women;" it is simply the label she is comfortable with, the one she vibes with.

Husk - While most people would judge him based on appearances and think he's straight, Husk is pansexual and demiromantic. It really doesn't matter what's in someone's pants, as far as he's concerned. Romantic relationships are a whole different story, and he's had far fewer of those, especially after ending up in Hell.

Lucifer - The King of Hell is pansexual and panromantic; he sees someone attractive and does the "oh no, they're hot" meme regardless of gender. He's also not entirely cis, but doesn't really have a label for that part of himself. Maybe he'll settle on one later, but for now, he's fine just being Lucifer.

Moxxie - This particular imp is bisexual, biromantic, and polyamorous! Moxxie is also demiboy, which means that, while he does vibe with the gender he was assigned at birth, there are times where he Does Not. He's exploring that part of himself, with support from Millie, and also through discovering different parts of himself within the terms of their ethical nonmonogamy.

Stolas - Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia is homosexual and demiromantic. Which again means that he is only attracted to men, and does not form romantic attachments without an emotional connection. In his case, he also finds it difficult to be sexually attracted to someone without an emotional connection, which also puts him on the ace spectrum, both sexually and romantically. Additionally, though he has not had a chance to explore his gender on any level, really, that is something that will likely happen in the future.

Vortex - While Tex is probably the most cis muse on this list, he is definitely not the straightest. This hellhound is pansexual, panromantic, and polyamorous! He's had relationships with all sorts of people; he's chill as long as his partner is chill. Unlike Moxxie, he has had romantic relationships with multiple partners at once, as long as all parties involved are aware and amenable.

And now for my OCs!

Ardor - Another pansexual, panromantic, polyamorous muse! While he is pan, Ardor tends to be male-leaning. He's had multiple partners in the past, though his primary partner will always be Zeal.

Cain - Pansexual and demiromantic, Cain doesn't have much of a preference as far as partners go. He hasn't had that many romantic relationships, falling on the aromantic spectrum; he just hasn't really been interested, instead focusing his time on making sure Hell remains fed.

Echo - The definition of genderfluid. Echo's presentation is usually androgynous or masc-leaning, as they were AFAB in life. They're also pansexual and panromantic, which means that they're very much into just about anyone.

Johnny - While he didn't necessarily know the proper terms to describe himself when he was alive, Johnny is both bisexual and biromantic. Like Charlie, this just means that this is the label he prefers. He does tend to lean more into women, but he would be equally as happy with someone of any gender, as long as they treated him well and appreciated him properly.

it's clear that it's not a suggestion. eyes roll, eyebrows lifting as she nods thoughtfully, something incredulous in her expression as a matching smile sits on her lips. another laugh -- humorless this time -- precedes her response.

"what is that? a demand?" the question's dry and nothing short of entirely unimpressed. "you should know, i don't often do what other people suggest that i do, let alone demand," head ducks momentarily before she's looking at erin again, "you're not the boss of me," there's a pause, "and last i checked, you don't have jurisdiction here -- detective,"

Rumor has it that they are an 30/39 year old VAMPIRE who is one of the SACRIFICED but we’ll keep that a secret. They are said to be IMPULSIVE, but that’s all a façade to cover up their UNDERSTANDING nature. We’ve heard that they can be found listening to SUPERHERO by LUKE CONARD AND LANDON AUSTIN, which sums them up pretty well. Let’s hope that they can find a way to survive this harsh new world.

jeremy left mystic falls saying that he was heading to santa fe, new mexico to go to art school but instead he headed into the world as a hunter. when tvd ended in 2019 jeremy wasn’t living in mystic falls and hadn’t been for 6 years or so. when Elena woke from her magical coma, he returned for a time to make sure that Elena was safe and happy. he came back and helped caroline and alaric to set up their school. after they opened, he turned to the road, travelling mostly working for caroline and alaric to bring kids in need to the salvatore boarding school or at least giving them the offer. 

his hunter gene however made it a mission for him. he still felt the urge to kill and it was something that stopped him from settling down. over time he got tired. tired of the hunters mark driving him to a life that he felt like he didn’t get a choice in. but it was the life he had.

in 2024, he was hunting a coven of dark witches that were murdering people to take their power, tracking them to their house. when he tried to help their future murder victims escape, the witches set fire to the house, trying to burn them all to the ground and destroy the evidence. jeremy went in against his better judgement, saving the people inside, dragging everyone out. the last being a child, that he managed to pass out the window before he collapsed. by the time the fire department turned up, his was on his death bed, fighting for life. his family was called and they were told to say their good byes.

not ready to die, jeremy agreed to take the vampire blood to heal him but over night he died anyway and was turned into a vampire. first time he felt like he had control over his life again. the craving for blood an easier thing to control, than his craving to murder all vampires he met. he took a few years to come to terms with being a vampire but was otherwise happy with his life.

while continuing to still help caroline and alaric with children for the school, he enrolled in art school and settled in a town, build a life for himself for the first time. during this time, he made contact with the child he saved from the fire and gave his life for, and when he learnt they were at the salvatore school without any parents. he looked out for them. and when caroline called him when they got into trouble he realized that he had become their father figure. he went out and signed the foster and then adoption papers shortly after, taking them in forever. jeremy has been working as a firefighter since he adopted his child. 

it was shortly after that he ran into rebekah for the first time in years. she questioned his plans for the cure, knowing that elena and damon would give it to jeremy over rebekah. however conversations around the cure turned to them starting a causal fling after rebekah and marcel had broken up, which soon turned into more. they ended up making it official when they gathered their kids together after the threat of the OEA became a world wide problem and they moved their family to new orleans.

on their anniversary, jeremy had planned a dinner and was going to met her when he was betrayed by a fellow hunter and outted as a sympathizer. and was sacrificed by the witches, ending up in the prison world.

The cards were quickly collected from the table. The dissatisfaction was palpable. But, well, you know what they say: the truth hurts. Before there was so much as a word, she cut them off. Quite harshly, at that.

"I know you're pissed. Don't start bitching." Once the completed deck was in her grasp, she held it with her left hand and knocked on it, three times, with her right. "You didn't ask me for a fantasy. You asked for a reading. You got what you asked for, and it's not my problem." The amount of people who thought she was just making shit up was staggering. They'll find out otherwise in due time. Or she'll start throwing hands. Whatever comes first.

"But I asked for--"

"I KNOW what you fucking asked for!" Her own voice was raised, anger lacing through every word. "And I god damn told you! It's not my fucking fault your future's as shit as your past! Take it up with someone who gives a shit!" Didn't even wait to listen to the come back, she took her cards and stormed out. Door slamming shut and all. Fucking idiots. They only hear what they want to.

She was met with a downpour on the street. Rain dumped down like even the gods were mocking her. A noise of disgust left her as she trudged out, slipping the cards away into her bag. It was late at night; not many people were out at this hour. Never were. Anyone who was and saw her coming immediately side stepped her. Black boots kicked every rock out of her way with a fury that matched her aura. Long hair swang with every step, further soaking her already drenched black clothing. Couldn't win, could she?

Not even the faint calls of her name from across the street were enough to catch her attention. She had somewhere to be. 

The next place of business was the abandoned house further down the road. Wasn't locked; never was. Just open it and come on in. Back slammed against the wall and slid down once the door was closed. Finally, somewhere to be. Now, where's that special surprise in her bag? Should be in here somewhere . . .

"Seraphina." 

"Don't even start." She snapped, pulling out a bottle of wine from her black leather bag. Now to work on getting it open.

"You don't need to be like that."

"And you don't need to be hopping on my dick every time I set someone straight." Finally, after struggling for a bit, she got the (loosely pressed) cork off. Now she can have some fun.

"I never said that I was! And put that down, you're too young to be drinking."

"You're not my bloody mum!" Seraphina retorted, taking a defiant swig. "The hell do you care, anyway? You're not even alive!" The teenager pushed her companion, just to make a point. Her hand went right through, hitting the wall behind them.

"Maybe not, but that's why I need you to be. Now come on, we've got a laundry list of souls to help tonight."
