E.R.A - Mouthwashing S/I

Also known as Emergency Robot Assistant 6812! Unlike former units, this one is not entirely robotic. A human, unaffiliated with Pony Express, chose to donate their body for science.

They were turned into the receptacle for the company's innovation and first attempts at partial crew automation. Since the person who had donated their corpse was already deceased, the company didn't bother supplying any extra food, medicine or safety equipment for the cyborg.

E.R.A's personality is bland at worst and overprotective at best, they are always monitoring the crew to the point where it can be uncanny (watching them sleep, following them silently, etc) they only speak when spoken to.

Their appearance is a mixture of sleek machinery and regular human features, projected in a way that they seem more approachable to the crew, instead of being visually disturbing. They also have a uniform, similar to a large sweater and bland pants, to avoid appearing "provocative" as the company puts it.

They are equipped with around 1 petabyte of storage and have extensive knowledge on various topics, which helps Anya feel more understood and well accompanied, and which also keeps Daisuke entertained for long enough to let Swansea work in peace.

Anya tells E.R.A about the incident with Jimmy, believing it'd be like venting into a diary, but it causes the robot's memory storage to awaken some of the human's memories of their past life. This makes it so E.R.A begins to hunt Jimmy, the outcome varies depending on which ending I'm more interested in.

After the personality "activation glitch" E.R.A becomes far more protective of the other crew members and downright obsessed with Anya, Curly and Daisuke. They were the ones who gave Curly a voice, and knowing how much all of them have to endure because of the same person just motivates their bloodlust towards the co-pilot.

Emerie - Arcane S/I

[Quick note for this one: I know absolutely nothing about LoL outside of Arcane, so if this is similar to a character I don't know, it's simply a coincidence!]

Emerie isn't human, nor from Earth altogether. She fell from the sky, surrounded by shimmering blue crystals, into one of Zaun's large bodies of water. She remained dormant inside the cluster of gems until it was split open from the outside.

Jinx and Viktor noticed her arrival for different reasons.

Jinx was visiting one of Silco's former bases, which had a window with a view directly into the body of water Emerie fell into. Being the curious spirit she is, she immediately went to check it out. The blue haired girl was the one who broke the cluster open, dragging the sleeping creature back to the surface.

It took some time for Jinx to trust Emerie, even longer for Sevika to agree with having the creature around, but once it was obvious she wasn't (purposefully) a threat it was easy for Jinx to warm up to her.

Viktor noticed the sky becoming brighter in the middle of the night, getting an intense headache almost immediately after. Whatever that meteor had brought was embedded with wild magic, and now his main goal was to make it wouldn't bring harm to people.

He began looking for Emerie and whatever was left of the meteor, having a vague telepathic form of communication with the being, seeing flashes of her surroundings, hearing her voice and so on.

Personality wise, Emerie is a huge sweetheart and a little ignorant about human customs, even more so because she's being taught how to behave by Zaun's craziest hero, as well as receiving sudden mental notes from some sort of evolutionist wannabe savior.

Emerie looks like a mermaid axolotl, having bed tail shrink when in solid ground. She has retractable teeth and only shows them when she eats or fights. She stays hunched over most of the time, looking 5'7" but she can get to almost 7' if she stands upright.

She has a hard time with human speech, and often expresses herself through chirps, purrs and growls when she can't articulate her sentences properly. She also has a huge sweet tooth and will do pretty much anything for a treat, which helps her trust and befriend (and fall for) Viktor once they meet.

If things get too silent while me and Daisuke are hanging out, we'll just give each other a look and say "Yimpy" in the weirdest voice we can muster, never fails to make us laugh so hard we turn red dnbfkdbd

I usually do.. I have a short temper and I'm not super optimistic most of the time, so it's not impossible for me to snap at Daisuke when things get really bad

Thankfully he never takes offense to it, he always manages to understand that I don't mean what I say when I'm feeling that certain way

Twix – in what ways do you complement each other?

We complement each other in a way where I help him avoid being fooled or manipulated and he keeps me from giving up or doing things I might regret!

It's a complicated balance that only works because of trust and communication, which makes me very proud of how mature we can be with each other, even if we're the youngest on the ship!
