Spinning on his heel, Joey realized that he didn't have his weapon on hand, so he reached quickly for something else which was...an empty pizza box. Of course. Geez, grabbing a hold of this box made him realize that he really needed to pick up around here. But he had been so tired after his trials, each one felt more energy consuming than the last. He didn't even know why these were here to begin with (maybe a taunt of some kind?); something he noticed when he had joined the realm was that his hunger was non existent, he didn't find the need to eat. When even was the last time he ate...? Stop it Joey, this was no time to think about cleaning! Or food! There was someone in The Lodge for crying out loud! Lowering the box, his eyes were met with a familiar survivor, a sneaky one that had escaped his grasp time and time again. The Spy. "Yeeeah..." He responded, sounding unsure of himself. Tossing the box onto the floor, he cleared his throat to respond a little bit better. "Yeah, you're right. I'm Joey...clearly the best member on the team." And with that, he posed proudly, arms crossing over his chest.

honestly this… i’ve never seen inc/st being defended to this degree before. the admin choosing to enable the romanticization of a potentially triggering topic over prioritising the comfort and wellbeing of others is… concerning. isn’t ondeckhq supposed to be a lighthearted sol rp too? why is such a twisted topic even necessary for a muse’s background? // this is the exact same situation that happened with that game of thrones inspired rp not long ago. the only difference is those anons were defending it by saying it was part of the game of thrones lore and history, but in ondeck's case, there's no reason to include inc*$t at all. yes, dark themes can add context and nuance to muses... but if you're in a chill yacht club slice of life roleplay, MAYBE JUST MAYBE, inc*$t doesn't have room in your muse's bio. if you wanna write something like that so badly, at least make it be person that isn't biologically/by marriage related to your muse. tldr, people are defending it with their dying breath and have no validity behind them. inc*$t is also a very real trigger to some people, and no one knows what people grew up with experiencing. the admin should treat it like any other trigger. if they allow that, they should allow $*xual @ss@ult and m*rder too. no? since those are triggers for people, why not allow it? (note that this is sarcasm, i'm just making a point). you don't HAVE to have that detail in your muse's bio, you're just being stubborn and defending it for no reason. it's OC. ORIGINAL CHARACTER. [9:18 pm] You softly let out a grunt as drunk Jisung placed you in his lap just to kiss you. His touch was gentle but he was being too clingy on you.

His lips tasted like alcohol as this was his first time drinking ever since he became an adult. His right hand gripped on your waist while his other was on your shoulder.

His already swollen lips on your swollen ones. Both melting into the kiss as the night progressed. Jisung bit your lips, only to receive a soft sound from you.

"My baby is so cute," he whispered before he planted a kiss on your collarbone. Both of your cheeks were red and you were sweating due to the sudden hotness of the room.

That's when you realized that drunk Jisung is your enemy but also a side you want to see again.

Suddenly, you flinched when someone hit Jisung's head. You pulled back and a pout appeared on his red swollen lips.

"YOU ARE A CHILD!" Jaemin and Renjun shouted.

Joey stared over at his leader.

Blinking away the tears he felt forming, Joey reached up to grab hold of the bandana he wore and tore it from his face, pulling down his hood in the process. He regretted it to say the least. Without the one thing keeping his face covered, he was exposed to someone he looked up, and Joey's expression was shown, and it was disappointment that was written all over his face. There was no disappointment for Frank, Julie, Susie, or anyone else but himself. They tended to say that Susie was the most sensitive one in their group, but half the time Joey was convinced it was himself that was the emotional one all along.

Letting out a noise of frustration, he tossed down the mask onto the couch as well as his own body. This couch was mangled, broken, worn down, a mixture of things Joey was also feeling. He had failed a trial, the survivors being the ones to escape, avoiding a painful death. But the price for that happening, was pain to his own body by The Entity; punishment that felt like it was dragged on for ages. The wounds never stayed, memories of it, however, did. He tried to keep silent, he didn't want to go venting out loud, but the more he held it in the more he felt like a damn about to break. He felt like a waterfall.

"I don't understand the point...the point of all this." Joey finally broke, speaking up, bouncing his right leg. A lot of things that happened here didn't seem to make a lot of sense, it was always best to not question anything, no true answers would be given anyway. "We get thrown into a trial, stab, kill, but what's the point? It's all some stupid cycle." He continued asking out loud, leaning his head back to rest against the head of the couch, staring at the ceiling.

˚ ̣ ̥☆━━ Hopefully this is a good starter for something between the two of us! If not, feel free to write something else up, or I can make another starter instead. Whichever is preferred, but hopefully you enjoy this one! I won't be offended if not!

Joey had to stop what he was doing. This sounded serious

It wasn't something he was expecting to hear, not from his leader. The leader who seemed to understand how to bottle up his emotions perfectly, while Joey didn't know how. Once Joey showed one ounce of emotion, he was a waterfall, spilling every word until he had no air left in his lungs to breathe. He found himself to be the complete opposite of Frank, but that's what drew him closer to the one he claimed as one of his best friends.

But here Frank was, sounding like he was implying he self sabotaged himself, and that worried Joey immensely.

"Dude..." He breathed, trying to decide if he should put his hand on Frank's shoulder, or just leave him be. His friend didn't seem to be one for touches, but that wasn't something Joey judged, or complained about, he respected him. He always had. Joey's hand quickly went back down to his side. "...Listen...I..." Man, this was hard. He wanted to be there, he wanted to support his leader, no! His friend. The tattooed male sounded like he was opening up to him, and what he wanted more then ever was to remind Frank that he cared. so. much.

But Joey didn't want to go stepping on toes here either, that would be bad, so what was the right call?

A simple idea came to his mind, one that always made him feel better when his emotions went all over the place. "This...sounds like something cookies might solve...?" Did that sound wrong?! Did it sound like he was dismissing his friend's feelings for some silly sugary sweets? "No, shit-" He breathed, rubbing his arm nervously. Maybe he was just overreacting, paranoid really, that he was upsetting the one he looked up to a lot for many different reasons. "That came off wrong. I-- I know it won't solve all the problems, I'm sorry, man.." Joey shook his head before letting out a deep breath. Okay. Time to rephrase this, let Frank know that he wanted to listen and help. "Whatever you're feeling...Let's...dive into some cookies and talk about, yeah? I'm here for you." And this time... He gave his friend a smile, revealing the small gap between his two front teeth.

i feel like the misinfo is still being spread though. not the op, but i think i would want to see the direct verbiage in the doc here from what sincerely said because that’s not even saying that insid twisted facts that’s saying they blatantly LIED. if this is true and it’s why people weren’t joining rupes then i’m sorry but that’s not gonna cut it. the au krp is pretty small, and everyone knows about rupes so everyone also knows, however vague, these claims. IF the insidious admins blatantly lied this badly, i just struggle to believe that rupes admins chose the route of silence, or genuinely removed themselves from engaging with any of it. it would mean that all the claims people make about rupes null, and i would expect every writer i know in the au sphere to take accountability for messing up, or at the very least make people aware of the truth.

rupes is one of those krps everyone knows about but dismisses because of this exact thing: the fact that they're somehow tied to insid/paradigm, etc., and if what the admins here said was true, that means insidious/paradigm folk have had this one-sided fight with these writers and this krp, all unfounded. it also calls into question every claim made about au krps at the time of the gossip blogs.

if the sincerely admins can discuss it over with the darkstt folk and show us pieces of it, i would greatly appreciate it. if this is true, i think it’ll be safe to say we can trust how sincerely is presenting the rest of the facts and we won’t need to see more of the document.

these are the pieces the darkstt parties were okay with us sharing, all information blocked out was done by them! if the rupes admin team or the writer in question request the document be removed from our blog, we will adjust to do so.

they were simply linked in the bio of this member's muse for rupes,

a complete different muse from the one they wrote in insidious.

additional content that clarifies an accusation made by the anon we referenced:

insid admins were upset a mun from their rp relocated their muse in rupes without changing any lore they took from insid.

proof that muses joining rupes would have to have modifications to them and therefore any muse from insidious couldn't be written in their krp without some alteration:

some of the questions insidious asked rupes for, there were others but these two are the only relevant ones we think necessary to show as they reference the topics discussed on our blog, and validate that the insidious admins did indeed make requests to the rupes admins:

proof they asked rupes to not allow people to redirect their muses into their krp:

proof they asked rupes admins to 'approach muses joining [their] roleplay with more caution':

proof they called rupes krp's compassfolk mechanic harmful (likely because they did not fully read the definition of a compassfolk character before dming the rupes admins which states they have to be rupesverse, and therefore couldn't be direct muses from insidious). this also states that the compassfolk mechanic, like all the other mechanics, logistics etc. in the rupes krp were joint decisions between members and admins (sorry if we are misrepresenting, but according to the rules on the rupes blog, all rules and lore are made with member feedback, during their month where they get member feedback), so it was not something the rupes admins decided to do themselves. this also includes that the compassfolk mechanic was a part of rupes before insidious was made, which is proof that rupes had been operating since before insidious:

the overall response from rupes, stating they would not remove their compassfolk mechanic for the insidious team, especially because if the insidious admins had read their rules in full they would have known there was no way the muse in question (that they dmed after they left insidious and also dmed the rupes admins about) was being written in rupes because the compassfolk muses would only be accepted after two more weeks:

proof insidious referred to rupes in a note public to their krp (if the community wants to discuss any of these points from any screenshots here or contest them, we will post them only if they abide by what the admins mention here, because it is only fair to us that we acknowledge the way that the admins would have been okay communicating about their document. this means that discussions about this content, if being used as conversation and not simply to validate that our summary was a good enough summary/true enough summary, will not be posted if there are clear twistings of words, as the point of this proof being shown on the blog is not for the conversation, but to provide credibility so we can keep the rest private):

proof that it is clear the insidious admins knew that the person relocating to rupes had a different main muse, and they were discussing a side character with the rupes admins. after their conversation with the rupes admins, they would have known that the character they were concerned about wasn't at rupes at all, and even as a potential side character could not be at rupes either because no side characters were accepted until rupes was open for a month, and this conversation occurred two weeks after rupes was made:

thus, our summary of the facts from the document are credible and should be taken as such going forwards! apologies this took longer than expected, we were double-checking a lot of the facts with the lore and rules on the insidious blog and the rupes aff (their tumblr is currently password protected as they were having issues with tumblr, and took a break for two months about a month ago!).
