Last May, on Sam's birthday, Dean got him a second-hand New Nintendo 3DS. It’s filled to the brim with games which took Dean six hours to load and install. Sam plays it every night before bed and during off-hours. His current favorite game on the system is Super Mario 3D Land.

To be honest? Probably, but it’s because Dean made it for him. He felt bad that his little brother was a virgin in his 20s, and he thought he’d be doing him a favor by taking some candid pictures and creating a profile for him. Sam loves home-cooked meals and enjoys cooking a great deal, making it very difficult for him to get used to their takeout-based diet while on the road. This is why, whenever they have an extended period of downtime, Sam makes Dean get them an Airbnb with a kitchen, which Dean hates because Airbnb reservations only work when they use the credit card they actually trying to pay off. But it's better than having his ear talked off by his incredibly persistent brother, Dean supposes.

Sam never had an occupation before becoming a hunter. He helped his adoptive father with the family church, cleaning the pews and playing the piano, but he was never on the payroll. On the other hand, Dean worked multiple jobs, including being a mechanic, working at an auto yard, and even had a brief stint as a stripper (the hours were good, and he always had money for motel rooms and food).
