Light brows furrow as he watches her, graceful in battle despite being so unafraid. The last enemy slaughtered, blood staining the grass around them in the cold winter’s air. There’s a beauty in the ferocity, one that Temuj’in can appreciate as it is the same that flows through his veins. He approaches, weapon lowered in one hand, the other coming to reach down towards her cheek, smearing crimson from it. He brings it to his own lips, forked tongue slipping past to taste it. “You’re deserving of praise. This time.” He says, gently pressing his thumb back of her cheek, sliding it down over her lower lip.

          It all happens in the blink of an eye. One moment she’s working to play decoy to try and con her way into obtaining the item they needed to carry out their mission and the next? It turns into a full blown blood bath. She’s uncertain when her blade is drawn but her body has absolutely moved on its own. It’s survive or fall by the hands of those unworthy to even breathe in her direction. One right after the other, she’s not alone, when did he even show up? Is he the reason for the change in plans?

It’s like a distanced feeling. Yet it feels so familiar. The way the blade feels when it pierces her foe and claims the soul attached, pathetic they might be, she cannot hold back the slight enjoyment of power which comes with it. More. She thinks. A bit more.

There’s no time to question it. The very moment she’s processed that this is even happening is the moment that the end has approached. Bathed in crimson and stained in the aftermath, her gaze shifts upon his words, a dark look all her own stares him down as if she’s there but not.  “  One shouldn’t tease the very idea of a good time,  “  she replies finally, her tongue slips out for a taste before she’s pulling back.
