❛ h e a d c a n o n  ―  case 001

           akane , within the flow of years , began to have hallucinations with the form of fallen / missing comrades or people dear to her that is no longer as a mechanism of self-preservation , coping & insight . often , these would scold gained habits like smoking , decrease of sleeping hours , overworking , etc -- other times would be simply to seek of answers , conclusions & decisions , much like it was seen her speaking to an absent Kougami whilst looking out for Kamui. although , might make someone wonder of her mental stability, this actually helps the woman to clear her hue & keep herself in check to not strain or be overly reckless . 

          this said -- masaoka & her grandmother would be advisors to emotional chaos harvoring at the moment , masaoka playing the role of a mentor and aoi tsunemori more as a comforting voice . meanwhile , characters like kagari & yuki would often appear to discourage her bad habits , especially when it comes to smoking . 

          kougami , kamui & even makishima , would come to either have a conversation regarding the nature of a case or the actions of Sybil , kougami being more case centric while the other two being devils questioning the rightness of the system .

             sad ensues at akane having to go and tell kagari’s dad he is missing , fully knowing he is fucking dead thanks to sybil --- since she is the only inspector after ginoza gets himself kicked to the enforcer corner .   /   @enfrcr​

       akane still conserves the W C ? carve in her apartment , and refuses to get it repaired or moving out . she could go hours staring at it while thinking in cases or while smoking . it’s a bittersweet reminder of what happened with who was probably the closest person to understand her fully .
