                   in the alternative scenario were akane goes asyntomatic & joins makishima , I believe it would be right after she finds out about sybil’s truth , & fueled by kagari’s unfair dead , she would go haywire enough to go after kougami & makishima , solely to stop kougami from killing him ... & join the man who killed her best friend . at the end of the line, akane would join makishima agreeing with his mentality but not with his methods , trying to expose sybil without many casualties . akane would be a rather idealistic to a fault kind fo a villain -- lowkey revengeful .   /   @asympticon​

                   taken off guard , unaware he was at her apartment , akane almost let instincts kick in & react in self - defense . luck was on his side , when candy spoke right on time to the inspector , allowing akane to notice she was already offline , an event that only happens when kagari came to visit --- in order to avoid sybil into finding his whereabouts . 

                  ‘ good gracious , kagari - kun , don’t startle me like that . ‘ despite the choice of words , her face did not reflect a hint of discomfort , giving him free will to hug her . there was no official relation between them , but their interactions since their reunion months ago grew more away from a simply friendship nature .

             sad ensues at akane having to go and tell kagari’s dad he is missing , fully knowing he is fucking dead thanks to sybil --- since she is the only inspector after ginoza gets himself kicked to the enforcer corner .   /   @enfrcr​
