leonard  finds  it  particularly  difficult  to  leave  amelia’s  embrace  in  the  morning.  she’s  curled  up  to  his  side,  hair  spread  out  against  his  bare  chest.  they’re  both  peaceful  in  a  way  that  they  aren’t  usually,  the  pressures  of  the  academy  gone  for  some  hours  so  that  they  can  sleep.  it  worries  him,  at  times  like  this  when  she  sleeps  happily  next  to  him,  just  how  hard  it  is  becoming  to  leave  her.  amelia  moving  next  to  him  interrupts  that  existential  crisis  for  the  moment  &  he  leans  into  her  again.
