            there's very little kubo will not do for a crush, he's realized. make an absolute fool of himself? check. try his hardest to get said crush to unwind? double-check. dodge a king all day long so said crush can't get dragged away to do things that AREN'T her job? definite check. if jane thinks things have escalated now, with them sitting up in a tree she doesn't know him at ALL. he's done far worse to avoid his own responsibilities when everything starts to pile up. the difference between them is that he knows when enough is ENOUGH. he doesn't think he'll mind teaching her that. 

     ❛  see? it's such a nice day out! the sun is shining and the birds are singing. picture perfect! and you would've totally missed it if you'd left FLORIAN drag you into some stuffy office to        ❜ he never gets to finish the complaint of the day about his fellow royal. soft lips brushing against his cheek are a VERY good distraction tool. he has to blink a few times to be sure that had even HAPPENED. yet she's so close and smiling in just the prettiest, knowing way that he couldn't have imagined it.

     ooc. i'm making a descendants verse since there are soooo many descendants oc's and blogs and kubo would fit pretty well into there anyway but a few quick notes about him there would be:

he IS prince kubo of the moon kingdom and he grew up knowing this his entire life but he grew up poor and in hiding from his grandfather/taking care of his mother on his own, regardless. 

he's fresh from his quest by the time he attends auradon prep aka he's sixteen and once he turns eighteen he's going to go back home and rule but for now a distant cousin is taking care of the duties of the throne. 

he gets to auradon around the time the vk's do but with ben's proclamation/watching the vk's from afar he winds up not shipping his aunts/grandfather there. he visits home often to try and change his grandfather/aunts for the better but in the mean time they're all locked away in a special prison for the safety of themselves and everyone else.

the moon kingdom has always been very pro-magic/private/advanced ( much like the kingdom of atlantis ) and is an archipelago. it's never had many diplomatic ties which is one of the reason it stayed under a tyrannical rule for so long, no one KNEW about it, the revolution had to come from inside the country and had ZERO foreign aid. it was largely started by kubo's own father, lord hanzo. kubo coming to auradon is one of the first gestures of peace that the moon kingdom has ever made. not much is known about it culturally and it is very secretive.
