he’d heard what happened to her through the grape vine, what he wasn’t sure he expected was for them to meet again after so long. though it would feel like only a moment to her, he silently wonders if he should let her know she’d met him prior to her injury. no doubt she’d have questions for him ( not that he’d be able to answer most of them, if any ). so in the end, he decides to go for something somewhat less explicit. should she recognise him on her own, maybe then, he’d let her in on the truth.

❝ you look familiar. we haven’t met before, have we? ❞

a kind smile accompanies the question, hopeful to soothe any possible apprehension from the question. he’s clean cut in appearance, hardly threatening with his well manicured look & soft expression. after all, half his role involved putting the people around him at ease, what good was he as a deity if he couldn’t manage even that?
