Sakura is a strong believer of fate, but she doesn’t believe in luck –why so? This is pretty simple: for her, fate is something that is strongly connected with gods and supernatural forces, so whenever you feel like there is something going on, there must be a superior force that acts on your behalf, helping you or neglecting you, this depends on whether you’re acting good or bad in your life and each consequences of your actions will be judge and controlled by the gods –this is fate, for Sakura.

“I believe there’s something higher than us and we must accept the fact that not everything require an answer or not everything is capable of our understanding, but luck is something else”

As a matter of fact, luck is different for the petite priestess, since it’s something not directly connected with deity or otherworldly sources, but it’s s mere inventions of the human being, to vehicular the intentions and the feelings of a person towards what is deemed to be the right choice or the wrong choice;

“I believe that luck has nothing to do with fate, it’s completely different” she paused, searching for aa clear example, “Fate is something that we may believe in, while luck isn’t something we can believe in, but rather, it’s something that lead us thinking in positive or negative way, especially when it involves feelings”

It’s not a very easy question and definitely not a simple answer, but she certainly differentiate fate and luck for several characteristics and beliefs she has got.
